Kate Gosselin is always beefing with someone, and sure enough, she’s gotten involved in a new Twitter feud … with a man with the last name Gosselin. The reality star is demanding that she change it immediately. An irate Kate Tweeted recently at Carlos Gosselin: “@RealCGosselin it is illegal to impersonate people on twitter etc. please change your ID and email immediately. Thank you. @Support” Carlos Gosselin hit back at the reality show mom: “@Support hey can you tell Kate Gosselin to take accept that there are other people with the same last name. She may have her panties in a wad.” OH, IT’S ON NOW! Carlos continued, “So I woke up to this and laughed my ass. Not only that. But it made my whole morning complete. Let me put it up in a picture.” He added a photo of himself with the caption, “Love you mom.” He hasn’t changed his name or his email address, either. Kate is far from pleased with the situation, responding: “The per impersonating my child (@CGosselin) tweeted ‘love you mom’ 2me. Whether he really has last name or not, it’s impersonation w that tweet!” “And if it was meant as a joke to me, then I missed the joke – busy being a mom and am CONSTANTLY dealing w ppl impersonating my children! :/” Sure you are Kate. We know you never overreact at all.
Katie Holmes is looking as sexy as ever on the new Allure cover! The 34-year-old actress has had a rough go of it over the last year or so, going through a very public split with Tom Cruise . In an interview, she says she hopes 2013 can just be “peaceful.” With her divorce behind her, Holmes is living with her daughter Suri Cruise in New York City, and may have some plans for her future that don’t involve acting. Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were back together last weekend, if only for an afternoon, to watch sons Sean and Jayden play soccer in Woodland Hills, Calif. The former couple sat near each other but not on the same blanket. Kevin, baby mama Victoria Prince and their daughter Jordan sat behind Brit and her assistant. Needless to say, she looked outstanding and he looked … like K-Fed. With short jean shorts and a form-fitting pink tank top, the brunette star showed Kev what he’s missing … and what David Lucado is getting apparently. Justin Bieber is in mourning this week. The singer – who was forced to leave one Paris hotel for another on Sunday due to a lack of security – took to Twitter yesterday and sent his prayers to Briana Tejada, a major Belieber who lost her fight against Leukemia over the weekend. “Just got news about little Briana,” Justin wrote. “I was honored to meet her. I know she is up in heaven smiling. #ripBriana #love” In January, thanks to a #JustinForBriana campaign, the 11-year fan met her idol in Nashville, as her parents described the interaction as a “dream come true” for their daughter. Prior to that, Justin gave Briana a shout-out in a special video, telling her: “I just wanted to say my prayers are going out to you and your family. Thank you so much for believing in me and being a big fan. And I’m your biggest fan, and I love you so much.” Sort of puts all those recent Justin Bieber scandals in perspective, doesn’t it? News of Lindsay Lohan’s plea deal puts her one step closer to a comeback. Back in February, I wrote that if Lohan could avoid going to jail over charges of reckless driving and lying to police and reinstitute some self-discipline into her life, her raw performance in Paul Schrader’s The Canyons could mark the beginning of her redemption as an actress. Details of Lindsay Lohan’s Plea Deal As of this afternoon, Lohan can check off that first box on what could be the path back to a productive acting career worthy of her talent. As USA Today reported, she and her legal team, led by Mark Jay Heller, struck a plea deal with prosecutors in which the Herbie Fully Loaded actress will do 90 days in a lockdown rehab facility and 30 days of community service. She’ll also undergo psychological counseling for 18 months. The newspaper reported that, following Lohan’s court date, Heller told reporters outside the Los Angeles Superior Courthouse, “I am very confident that you won’t be seeing Lindsay Lohan in any criminal courts any time in the future.” He also explained why Lohan took the plea deal: “At the conclusion of this case, Lindsay will have a completely clean record. And I think that’s an extremely important element to this case.” The Canyons Director Paul Schrader’s Reaction To LiLo’s Sentence When I first heard about the outcome, I emailed Schrader to get his reaction. When I interviewed him for post I wrote in February, the Affliction director hinted that he was interested in working again with Lohan. (The New York Times reported that Schrader was interested in casting in the lead role for a remake of Gloria, — about a mob moll and a six-year-old boy being chased by hitmen and law-enforcement officials — that originally starred the great Gena Rowlands.) The filmmaker’s response was cautiously optimistic. Schrader wrote he and his wife, actress Mary Beth Hurt, had dinner with Lohan last week at Minetta Tavern in Greenwich Village. Lohan, he wrote, “saw the film again and is enthusiastic to promote it. There will be international festival appearances in the future which she hopes to attend. We also discussed future work but, for now, we wait and see how the plea bargain plays out.” One Lingering Cause For Concern: Lindsay’s Dad, Michael Lohan Sounds promising. Now, if only Lohan could put more distance between her and her attention-starved father who seems to have no shame about turning his daughter’s legal woes into a press opportunities for himself. Here’s what USA Today reported about Daddy’s post plea-deal performance: Heller was quickly chased away from the press conference by Lohan’s father, Michael, who was present during the hearing. Michael Lohan then took to the microphones and proceeded to bash Heller, accusing him of not keeping Lindsay posted on negotiations. Michael said that Heller needs to “stop using Lindsay to make money and a name for himself.” However, the actress’ father did say that the sentence to rehab would probably be a good thing for her. Papa Lohan is doing a bit of projecting here. Someone should get him a muzzle.
