Amber Portwood: Out of Jail, Into Grandma’s House

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood just got out of jail free … mostly. On Friday, the MTV reality train wreck was released from jail , but instead of heading to a halfway house after leaving the Madison County (Ind.) correctional facility, she’s already settling in at another house … her maternal grandmother’s. “Amber is all taken care of [and] getting settled in,” says her mom , Tonya. Last week, after the halfway house denied Amber, her mom told us that she was “happy and relieved that she [wouldn’t] have to live in a halfway house.” “Now she will get to spend more time with her daughter, which is what this was all about anyway,” Tonya said. A bonus of the new living arrangement? Filming of Teen Mom is still a go! Though she is still required to attend rehab at Sister 2 Sister Ministries, in Anderson, Ind., production can proceed with her living at grandma’s place. Filming was banned at Sister 2 Sister, where Amber Portwood was set to live upon her release before the residence wanted no part of it. So it’s win-win? Possibly. After completing eight months of rehab, she’s required to get a real full-time job, i.e., one that doesn’t involve reality-show cameras. Not to mention, if she violates her strict probation in any way, she faces a maximum of five years in prison on her felony drug-possession charge. That seems inevitable to skeptics, but for now, Amber’s mom says she and her daughter are “so happy she’s home and around family who love her deeply.” Will Amber end up back in jail?

Jesus Take The Prophylactic: 5 Year-Old Girl Must Undergo Numerous Tests After Attempting To Blow Up A Used Condom Found On The Playground

Ewww, gross… A 5-year-old girl is getting ready to undergo a battery of tests after she found a condom on her school playground and thought it was a balloon. The condom was found in wood chips on the playground at Acres Green Elementary School in Littleton on Thursday. “One of my daughter’s friends brought it over to my daughter and gave it to her as a gift,” the father told 7NEWS. “At that point, my daughter attempted to blow it up.” After playing with the condom, the girl put it in her pocket. “My concern is not knowing if it was used or not (and) my daughter putting it to her mouth,” the father said. We are not naming the father or girl to protect her. B-b-but wait it gets worse… 7NEWS discovered the condom the girl found on the playground was not the only one. “The school went out as soon as they found out about it and went through the playground and did find a few other items, condoms, out on the playground,” said Randy Barber, spokesman for the Douglas County School District. Says the little girl’s father about the incident: “It’s not something I ever thought I would deal with in my life or even conceive of dealing with,” said the father. “It’s real. It can happen, and I think parents need to step up and really take a stronger role in the grounds of the school and what is going on in the schools.” This is some of the most terrifying isht we ever heard of. Adele Gives The Finger At Brit Awards

Here is the original post:

Adele keeps it all the way real she gave the finger at last night’s BRIT Awards when she was cut off while making her acceptance speech. Adele had just won the award for British Album of the Year for 21 and was making a genuine, from the heart speech. She was saying, “Thank you very, very much. Nothing is better than coming home with six Grammies and winning Album of the Year. Nothing makes me prouder than to be British.” So that’s when host James Corden cut her off. Not only did the crowd boo, but he got the finger from Adele. At a post-awards press conference, Adele commented on her reaction, saying, “I was cut off during my speech but I wanted to thank the British public for all their support. I was held up with my voice and troubles but the album kept walking without me. I flipped the bird for the suits at the BRITS who cut me off. Sorry if I offended anyone but it was for them, not for the fans.” Adele also won for British Female Solo Artist. Giving the bird wasn’t the only reason people were talking about Adele’s fingers … she was also sporting a huge rock on her left hand, fueling talk of an engagement to her boyfriend Simon Konecki. There’s been no confirmation of that.

10 years of unpaid child support can really add up! Just ask DMX’s “alleged” baby mama. His reason for not paying? He doesn’t believe the baby is his! X’s ex, Patricia Trejo, was in L.A. Superior Court Thursday morning, arguing against a motion DMX filed in their ongoing paternity case — in which the rapper asked the court for permission to perform in Europe. But Patricia put her foot down in court Thursday — claiming DMX owed $1 million in unpaid child support, going back to her daughter’s birth over ten years ago … and she was tired of waiting around. Alicia Keys Perform at Whitney Houston Funeral [Video]

“She would call you for no reason at all, but just to say ‘hi.’ She was a beautiful human being – really caring, beautiful, thoughtful.” So said Alicia Keys today, holding back tears, prior to breaking into a rendition of “Send Me An Angel” in honor of the late Whitney Houston. Watch for yourself now: Alicia Keys – “Send Me An Angel” (Whitney Houston Funeral) Stevie Wonder also performed at the memorial , while Houston’s former co-star in The Bodyguard was applauded for his beautiful tribute to the part-time actress. “To you, Bobbi Kristina, and to all those young girls who are dreaming that dream, thinking that maybe they aren’t good enough, I think Whitney would tell you, guard your bodies,” said Kevin Costner. “And guard the precious miracle of your own life. Bobby Brown Leaves Whitney Houston Funeral Early, Releases Statement

After days spent arguing with Whitney Houston’s family over whether or not he’d attend his ex-wife funeral, multiple sources confirm that Bobby Brown continued arguing with his former in-laws today. And actually left the memorial after just 20 minutes as a result. Both E! News and TMZ report that Brown brought an entourage of nine people in to the Newark church. It’s unclear exactly what happened from there, but the singer was spotted exiting the house of worship shortly after the service began. “I am at Whitney’s funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney!” Al Sharpton Tweeted, while Access Hollywood ‘s Shaun Robinson says a “seating arrangement” dispute was at play. Brown also has a concert gig tonight in Connecticut with New Edition, but it’s believed this disagreement with Whitney’s family is the reason why he left the premises so quickly. UPDATE: Brown has released the following statement: “My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. “In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.” [Photo: WENN.com]

Family, friends and celebrities packed into the Newark church where Whitney Houston grew up and remembered the late singer’s voice, love and — most of all — faith at her homegoing service Saturday. The nearly four-hour service featured performances from Alicia Keys, R. Kelly, the Winans family, Stevie Wonder and others. Many of the performers adapted lyrics in tribute to Houston, including Kim Burrell and Stevie Wonder, who altered his version of one of Houston’s favorite songs, “Ribbon in the Sky.” Houston died a week ago at age 48 in Los Angeles. Many of the speakers spoke about Whitney Houston’s Baptist background and her strong faith in God, including an emotional Tyler Perry, who received a standing ovation. “I am completely thankful to God for all he has done her life,” Perry said. “There is a grace that kept on carrying her. … Whitney Houston loved the Lord.” Actor Kevin Costner also received a standing ovation after he spoke of Houston’s courage when she tried out for a starring role with him in the 1992 movie “The Bodyguard.” Oprah Winfrey, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Spike Lee, Roberta Flack, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton and Houston’s former husband, Bobby Brown, were among those in attendance. Brown and his entourage later left the church during the service, but there are conflicting reports as to why he left. Brown arrived and left after a disagreement with security over his seating inside the New Hope Baptist Church, a source confirmed to MTV News. In a statement released to the press by his rep, Brown explained, “My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. “Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina,” the singer continued. “In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.” Whitney Houston’s funeral, or Home-Going, was held on Saturday at noon, and the Reverend Al Sharpton, who was also in attendance, weighed in on Brown’s arrival and departure in a series of tweets. “I am at Whitney’s funeral. I spoke with Bobby Brown trying to calm him down and not distract from the services. Today is about Whitney!” Sharpton wrote a little after 1:15 p.m. In a subsequent tweet, the MSNBC personality pleaded on behalf of Brown’s case. “We are out of the service. I don’t want anyone distorting Bobby Brown. He has shown love and respect today. Stop hatin’ ” The traditional Baptist ceremony was a celebration of Houston’s life, rooted in the church and her New Jersey upbringing. An array of family friends, including Dionne Warwick, BeBe & CeCe Winans along with luminaries like Clive Davis, Stevie Wonder and Kevin Costner , who starred with Houston in the 1992 hit film “The Bodyguard,” spoke and performed. Among the others in attendance were actor/producer Tyler Perry Mariah Carey, who shared the 1998 duet “When You Believe” with Whitney.
