The Christian Post is reporting that Jaddeus Dempsey of Impact City Church in Ohio allowed children in an after school program to hit, spit and even cut him with a steak knife to share a message. The father said, “He was upset. He thought he was in trouble. When I explained to him I’m not upset with you, I just want you to know that the things that happened here wasn’t OK.” The lead pastor as well as Dempsey posted a video message on Facebook apologizing for the incident. He even mentioned that the message of Easter went too far. Source: picture alliance / Getty Chicago Police Seen Punching Female High School Student The Chicago police, fresh off of the f**kery that was the Jussie Smollett case, have found themselves in the midst of yet another situation that exemplifies why people don’t trust them. According to ABC13 , a newly released video shows an incident at Marshall High School in which officers are seen punching, kicking, and dragging a 16-year-old girl, Dnigma Howardm, down a flight on stairs. On the footage you can see Dnigma talking to a friend as officers loom in the background. When the friend leaves they immediately run up on Dnigma and push her to the ground. Thursday’s Grey’s Anatomy was a nice change of pace. The action moved to New York with Amelia and Link as they made their way to the Big Apple with the aim of saving the life of a patient. Once there, Amelia ran into her sister Nancy, who stepped in for the chief of OB, meaning the two sisters had to work together. It was a strange twist of fate, and Nancy seemingly had no idea that Amelia was quite the powerhouse with a scalpel. More alarming: Nancy just assumed that Link was Owen. This solidified the fact that these siblings don’t spend any time checking in with each other. Amelia did not want to open up about her failed relationship with Owen. But Nancy urged her sister to have a family dinner with her, and the invitation was open to Link. Thankfully, Link was Team Amelia on this one. He was mad the family refused to support her, but Amelia wanted to prove she was the reliable one now. “This dinner is a chance for me to brag, prove them wrong, I’m not sure,” Amelia said. “I’m just sure that I have to go, and if you go with me, I’ll make it worth your while in very creative ways that you will enjoy.” Amelia’s other sister, Kathleen, showed up for the meal, and that’s when things got wild. Kathleen didn’t believe Amelia had changed, so she waited until Amelia was out of the room, and quizzed him. Link managed to dodge the questions, but the drama kicked into high gear when Amelia’s mother showed up, and she knew Link was not Owen. Amelia’s mood changed because she looked like a total liar, and she decided to come clean about the state of her relationship with Owen. The family revealed they had a bet on about how quickly the union would end, causing Amelia to wonder why she bothered. On top of that, they made jokes about her having a brain tumor. It was as awful as you would expect. “You don’t know me. You have not seen me in years. I am trapped in your mind and on your stairs at 14 years old,” Amelia shouted, adding: “I am sober, I am responsible, and I am a neurosurgeon at the top of my field.” Link realized he had to say something to defend his new girlfriend, and he was pretty awesome. “I’m new to all of this, and I haven’t known Amelia that long but I wanted us to stay for dinner tonight so you can get to know the woman I’m getting to know,” the self-proclaimed “ortho god,” said. “She is a brilliant surgeon. The kind you fly across the country when you need the best.” Amelia and Link then left the dinner party, clearly upset at the way things played out. When they returned to the hospital, their patient was flatlining, so they pressed on with risky surgery. Link did not want to do it, but Amelia was adamant; It could save their patient’s life, and it did. Amelia’s mom then showed up at the hospital, and the pair got chatting about their lives. That’s when Mrs. Shepherd revealed that she always knew Amelia was stronger than everyone gave her credit for. She finally gave her daughter the apology she should have several years before. “If you don’t think you’re worthy of love if you don’t think your love is valuable, you’re wrong. I obviously love it here, and like I said, this was extremely difficult. Last season, I did ‘The Conners’ as you know, and was also producing and here, and I loved it and felt totally empowered, but also If I’m being honest about it, I think my life was slightly out of balance, and I wasn’t able to spend as much time with my three kids as I’d like, or time for myself. And as I’ve continued on I’m starting to develop more things to produce and I’m having opportunities to act, and I’m just feeling like I don’t know how I’m going to do it all. I was looking at the next six months and just thinking there’s no time. And I’ll look at even small things in my life, my youngest is four years old, and I still haven’t made his baby book. You know, you sit , and you think ‘oh my God,’ my daughter is looking at hers last night and I was like ‘Ahh, he’s going to figure it out soon.’ Just basic life things, but it’s difficult because this is a place I love and a place that I’m extremely happy. I love the hosts; I love the crew; I love our staff. I’m so grateful to the audience for letting me in your homes every day. It’s been such an honor, and I’m not going anywhere yet, I’ll be here the rest of the season. I will come back. I will guest co-host. You’re not going to get rid of me, so I’ll be around be around. The weeks before the arrival of a new baby are always a stressful time for the expectant parents. And believe it or not, the whole thing is even more nerve-wracking for members of the royal family, who are forced to make their final preparations under the scrutiny of a watchful media and a few million well-wishers. It’s partially for that reason that the royal family has kept Meghan Markle’s exact due date and the location of her delivery under wraps. The last thing they need is a throng of adoring fans bum-rushing the car that’s rushing the duchess to the maternity ward. Of course, all that secrecy hasn’t stopped the British tabloid press from piecing together a whole lot of hearsay to form what they’re calling “Meghan’s birth plan.” Here’s what we actually know so far: Initially, Meghan was planning to give birth at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey, near the couple’s new home at Frogmore Cottage. Though not nearly as famous as St. Mary’s Hospital in London where Kate Middleton welcomed all three of her children, Frimley Park has served as the site of a few royal births in the past. As Entertainment Tonight reports , Prince Harry’s aunt, Sophie, Countess of Wessex welcomed both of her children there. But it seems the small country hospital may have been nixed by Meghan’s doctors, who may be anticipating complications due to her age and the fact that it’s her first child. It’s for that same reason that they reportedly put the kibosh on Meghan’s very first plan, which was a home birth. But despite the fact that Meg will almost certainly be in a hospital on the big day, she’s reportedly planning for the delivery to be as “natural” as possible. “Her mother is very into anything that is holistic and natural, and having been brought up with yoga and mindfulness, it’s all very much part of Meghan’s birth plan,” a source explained to Vanity Fair. Frankly, we’re of the opinion that drugs are perfectly natural, and needless suffering is as unnatural as it gets, but what do we know? As for where the birth will take place, one insider says he would be “hugely surprised if Meghan didn’t give birth at the Lindo Wing” at St. Mary’s, as the facility is the only one known to have the “security and resources needed for a royal birth.” Corroborating that claim is The Telegraph ‘s report that staff at the hospital has been instructed “not to take holiday in April.” Of course, the downside is that St. Mary’s is roughly 23 miles from Frogmore Cottage . But we’re sure the royals have access to some MI6 badass capable of chauffeuring Meg to London in an armored Jaguar in four minutes flat.
