It’s been a strange few months in the life of Ben Affleck. And it all seems to have started back in August, when Affleck started dating Shauna Sexton . While it’s unfair to blame the 22-year-old Playboy model for Affleck’s latest relapse (dude seemed to have no trouble getting hammered on his own), it’s hard to ignore that his latest fall from the wagon coincided with the start of his new relationship. Fortunately, Ben’s estranged wife, Jennifer Garner, was able to intervene, and Affleck checked into rehab shortly after he and Shauna began their bender together. These days, it’s unclear what’s going on with Affleck and his latest love interest. Sources say Ben and Shauna have broken up, but they recently vacationed in Montana together, and he’s still all over her Instagram page. So while they may not be officially dating anymore, it sounds as though Ben still has still involvement in Shauna’s life. And it seems Shauna’s mother very much wishes that wasn’t the case. Suzette Sexton recently spoke to Radar Online about her daughter’s new high-profile beau. And based on her comments, we’re guessing she wishes Shauna would find someone closer to her own age … who doesn’t have three kids … and who isn’t a raging alcoholic. “He’s my age!” Suzette told the outlet. “Would you be ok with your daughter dating a man with three kids, third time in rehab, and unstable as F?” Despite her many misgivings about Ben, Suzette says she’s encouraged Shauna to bring him home to Virginia for a visit. “He would feel right at home,” Suzette says. If only Suzette had added “there are moonshine stills for his drunk ass all over them thar hills.” She would’ve instantly been granted the title of 2018’s Realest Shade Queen. We kid Ben, of course. He deserves all the credit in the world for addressing his problem and taking important steps toward recovery. Similarly, it seems Suzette harbors no ill will toward Affleck — she just thinks the Oscar winner should find himself a more fitting partner. “We are a good family,” Suzette says. “We might not always agree with each other’s decisions but we stand by our choices and if it means to love another despite our faults then we do so!” she told Radar. Ultimately, it sounds like Suzette is a loving mom who’s concerned for her young daughter living 3,000 miles from home. And quite understandably, she feels that a newly rehabbed, famously temperamental actor isn’t the most stable companion for Shauna. Kelly has brainwashed their daughter and is holding her captive have created a hotline for other women who may have fallen victim to the singer. According to Mic , Tim and Jonjelyn Savage have been bombarded with calls from nearly 80 women and parents with their own stories of abuse by the Pied Pier after a 2017 Buzzfeed article was published with accusations against the singer. After time, the Savages noticed a disturbing trend: So many of these callers were afraid to go public. So they created a “R. Kelly abuse hotline” last week to create a safe space for people to come forward, speak their truth and to leave a message going into detail about their allegations against the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer. “One reason I feel that he’s been getting away with a lot of the allegations for the last two decades is because people feel he has money and power and they don’t have the resources to fight him,” Mrs. Savage explained. Kelly Speaks Out About New Song In addition, the Savages hope that this influx of callers will allow for them to build an even stronger case against R. Kelly. “There’s no age limit on being mind-controlled, drugged, brainwashed, there’s no age limit on that,” Mrs. Savage said. “So the more we have more young ladies or even men, or parents that are willing to speak out, the more we think it can help our daughter as well as helping other victims.” As we previously reported , the Savages told Buzzfeed last they haven’t seen their daughter Jocelyn since December 2016 and haven’t spoken to her on the phone since December 2017. Shortly after, Joycelyn told TMZ that her parents’ claims were false and that she willingly stays in a relationship with the singer. As we all know, the Savages claims are not new or rare when it comes to the Grammy winner. For decades R. Kelly has been accused of predatory behavior , especially among African-American women and girls. He is also facing a lawsuit that claims the 51-year-old knowingly transmitted an STD to a women he began dating when she was 19 and he as been accused of cultivating a “sex cult” abusing multiple women. That, and there was that damning documentary on BBC3, R Kelly: Sex, Girls and Videotapes, where former girlfriend Kitty Jones says that Kelly introduced her to a girl whom he had allegedly “trained” since she was 14. “I saw that she was dressed like me, that she was saying the things I’d say and her mannerisms were like mine,” Jones said in the film. “That’s when it clicked in my head that he had been grooming me to become one of his pets. This past summer, he released a new song addressing the sexual assault, pedophilia and sex cult allegations that have been circling around him for more than two decades. And while the title of the song, “I Admit” gives off the impression that the Pied Piper has finally come clean about his alleged predatory behavior, it’s quite the opposite. In the 19-minute track, Kelly denies all illegal allegations, going as far as to say that the people accusing him are lying and are only doing so to extort money and ruin his career. He also painted a picture of being a victim of sorts, claiming that he was sexually assaulted as a young child, is basically illiterate and has perhaps battled with drug addiction. Cardi B who turned 26 Thursday, October 11, was shocked when she entered Los Angeles’ Beauty & Essex to see a gang of friends, family and paparazzi on hand for a CÎROC Black Raspberry sponsored party. She was even more shocked however when Offset pulled out two jewelry boxes; one with a custom diamond chain that read Kulture, the name of their daughter, and a bracelet to match. The jewelry is from celebrity jewelers Pristine Jewelers, the same brand that made Cardi’s 8-carat engagement ring. Must be niiiiiice. Guests included Kourtney Kardashian, Tiffany Haddish, Larsa Pippen and of course fellow Migos Quavo and Takeoff. Before Bardi’s party, she told the world that all she really wanted was some Migos man meat from Offset for her present. OK, so Catelynn Lowell spent a good long while in rehab a while back. We all remember how this went down, but just in case your memory is a little fuzzy, let’s do a quick little recap. Last fall, she and Tyler Baltierra decided it was time to have another child, and she got pregnant pretty fast after they made that decision. Unfortunately, she had a miscarriage . And it was very, very hard on her. She began contemplating suicide, but before acting on anything, she told her family, and they helped her check into a treatment center in Arizona. She spent about six weeks there, missing Thanksgiving and Christmas, then came home. But as we saw last season on Teen Mom OG, she really wasn’t feeling much better. In one scene, Catelynn explained to Tyler that she was still very depressed and anxious, and that she felt like she needed to go back to Arizona. The choice caused a bit of strain on their marriage, from what was shown on Teen Mom. He tried to convince her to do some therapy and stay at home instead, but she refused to do that. Instead, she dropped their daughter, Nova, off at daycare without telling her that she’d be gone again, then left. After six more weeks, she came home , and that’s a bit of what we’ll see in the next episode. In the beginning of this new sneak peek, Catelynn explains in a voiceover that she’s only been home for a few days at this point. Catelynn Lowell: Neglecting Her Daughter After Coming Home from Rehab? “It’s been an adjustment,” she admits, “but I really appreciate Tyler taking care of everything while I was gone.” Then we see Catelynn and Tyler playing with Nova, and he asks Cate if anything’s different now that she’s home. “She won’t leave me alone,” Catelynn says, referring to Nova. It’s not the greatest thing to say, especially considering that so many fans thought she seemed too detached with her kid in earlier episodes. Tyler doesn’t seem to love the comment either. “Mom comes back and it’s like ‘Dad who? That guy who has all the stupid rules?'” he says. “‘Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom,” Catelynn mocks. Yeah, it’s really not sounding so good. Later, Catelynn visits with a friend named Hayley who kicks off their chat by asking her how she’s been. She reveals that she has been a bit anxious, but that she feels it’s normal in life to feel a little anxiety from time to time. Hayley tells her that she seems happier than ever, and she agrees, which is nice. She also tells Catelynn that she’s probably more in love with Tyler than ever, after how much he’s supported her. “Oh my god, yeah,” she agrees. “As a husband and wife, man, you say it in your vows, through sickness and in health, for richer or poorer.” “It’s like, you gotta stand by each other, and he totally did.” Hayley pumps Tyler up even more — he’s not even there, by the way. “Yeah, he’s awesome,” Cate replies. Except she doesn’t sound super convinced. We know that Catelynn and Tyler went through some things after she came back from rehab. He’s said that he was “repulsed” by her behavior while she was in treatment, and that couldn’t have been easy for her to hear. We imagine that as the season goes on, we’ll see more of their issues, but so far … It’s honestly looking kind of bad. And, judging by the comments left when MTV shared this sneak peek on Facebook, most Teen Mom fans are just completely over Catelynn in general. “She is a horrible human,” one person wrote. “To complain how your daughter is showering you with attention because you left her for months on end, how pathetic.” And that was the top comment, so … Another commenter asked “How many times does Tyler have to stand by you before you act on his feelings instead of it being all about you?” One person said that they were “glaring at how Nova noticed her mom mocking her desperate need for attention and validation.” Things got especially savage when someone else said that “I think she’s just a failure of a mother and uses her illnesses as a way to escape to rehab.” The comments go on and on and on like that, about what an awful mother she is and how Tyler needs to leave her. OK, so Tristan Thompson cheated on Khloe Kardashian. Everybody knows it, the Kardashians confirmed it, it’s a thing that happened. Several times. It wasn’t even early in their relationship either. (Or at least the times we’re talking about weren’t early on in their relationship, who knows if there’s been any affairs he’s gotten away with.) Nope, when Khloe was about three months pregnant with their daughter, True, he hooked up with some girls at a hookah bar . And then, literally days before she gave birth, he was once again unfaithful. For a while, there were rumors that Khloe was planning on leaving him, but by now, it’s pretty clear that’s not happening . Sure, there’s been tons and tons of reports about how unhappy she is with him. And yes, she’s posted countless vague quotes about being hurt and broken and all kinds of bad things. But he knocked her up, so their love is eternal or whatever. The thing is that even though Khloe is staying with Tristan, at least for the time being, that doesn’t mean she’s not getting some revenge. And what’s the best revenge for a cheating boyfriend? Cheating on him back, of course! But if you really, really want to hurt the guy, you don’t just cheat with any old dude. You cheat with an ex! And if you happen to have a famous ex! That’s just more salt in the wound, friend! According to a source who spoke with In Touch, Khloe got back at Tristan by hooking up with French Montana. French Montana, can you imagine? He was Khloe’s first serious relationship after ending things with Lamar Odom, and they were together for a while. They stayed friends after their breakup, too, so it’s not unthinkable that she would have reached out to him in a moment of need. As the insider claims, “Khloe cheated on Tristan with her ex French Montana. They hooked up as early as several months ago.” “Plain and simple, it was payback time.” OK, so “as early as several months ago” is the least helpful description of a timeline that ever was, but if it was “payback,” then obviously this alleged hookup happened after the cheating scandal. That means one of two things. One, she managed to holler at French immediately after the news about Tristan broke, he hightailed it to Cleveland, and they did whatever while she was super, super pregnant. Or two, they did whatever while Kris Jenner babysat True. Honestly, both of those things are a little hard to believe, but sure, let’s keep going. In Touch’s source also says that Khloe “was hurting and lonely, so she turned to French for comfort.” “Did it make her feel better that she was also getting even with Tristan? Of course it did.” “It’s like that old saying,” the source points out. “What’s good for the goose ….” Except it’s not like that old saying, because cheating wasn’t good for the goose (Tristan), it was dumb and destructive. But this source may not have heard many old saying and just wanted to be witty, so let’s try not to judge. Anyway, what’s even weirder about this whole thing is that Kim and Kourtney allegedly knew about Khloe’s affair with French. And they “completely supported it.” They supported it so much, in fact, that Kim told Khloe that since Tristan hasn’t proposed , “then she’s free to do whatever the hell she wants.” In reality, Khlow is free to do whatever the hell she wants anyway, no matter what her relationship status is. She’s a grown woman and all that. It’s just important to remember that just because you can do something, it doesn’t mean you should. No matter what the dumb goose did. So do we believe that Khloe actually got with French to get revenge for Tristan’s messy cheating scandal? Now according to W, in between mothering baby Kulture at her grandparent’s house where they interviewed her, she’s speaking out on that Nicki Minaj fight. The 25-year-old told W that she’s c ertain Onika liked and unliked a tweet questioning her mothering skills even though she’s denied doing so. Furthermore, for all the people claiming that the Fashion Week party wasn’t the proper place to confront Nicki, Cardi says she’ll never catch her in a more meager setting like your local grocery store. “For a while now she’s been taking a lot of shots at me. I spoke to her twice before, and we came to an understanding,” said Cardi. But she kept it going.” I was going to make millions off my Bruno Mars tour, and I sacrificed that to stay with my daughter. I love my daughter. I’m a good-ass f*cking mom. So for somebody that don’t have a child to like that comment? So many people want to say that party wasn’t the time or the place, but I’m not going to catch another artist in the grocery store or down the block.” She has a point, where else would she catch Nicki without the glare of the public eye? They don’t run in the same circles. Mind you, they’ll be in the same room for the first time since their showdown at tonight’s American Music Awards. Round 2, anyone? She also spoke on Offset an expressed her disappointment with alwaaaaays hearing cheating rumors about her Migos man. “Every single day there’s rumors about me and my dude,” said Cardi. “And it almost drives me crazy, because I start to believe them. I don’t have no proof. I don’t have receipts. But I just got to know my man. We practically on the phone 24 hours a day. If I can’t find him, I’m going to find his friend. Somebody going to answer the phone. Nikki ditched the crew and went back to Hollywood because she was over the drama. Paris, Bridget Kelly, Teairra, La’Britney and messy Brooke end up on a boat tour, but Moniece is nowhere to be found. Moniece isn’t really vibing with Brooke and she also isn’t vibing with Teairra. Speaking of the latter, the core of the episode is about questioning Teairra Mari and the validity of her sex tape claims because there’s something really fishy going on, but hold that thought. Back in the US, we find Apple working on her relationship with her formerly absent father. Apple asks him for advice about working with Shun Love. Why? Who knows, but anyway, Papa Apple seems mighty interested in what Apple is doing the minute she mentions that she is considering signing a contract with Shun Love. He all of a sudden wants to play the overprotective role 20 or 30-something years later, and claims he wants to talk to Shun before she signs anything to secure his own bag “protect her.” Apple emphatically tells her father not to say anything to Shun and that she’ll get a lawyer (aka a professional) to address her concerns if necessary, but for now, she has to worry about her other problems, like the fact that she has to go to jail for 30 days. However, we all know what show this is so we all know that Papa Apple decides to go see Shun Love anyway. Let’s cut to that moment for a hot second because Shun Love smells the BS just like we do. She calls him out on being a deadbeat who is all of a sudden interested in his daughter’s life when cameras are around and opportunities are popping up. He tries horribly to defend himself by saying that he wasn’t there because he’s not even sure if Apple is his kid. He didn’t really mention that to Apple though, and that is going to be a huge problem when Apple finds out. Shun love instructs Papa Apple to handle that business before trying to butt into other business where he doesn’t belong. Next, Moniece and Brooke end up at Bridget Kelly’s photo shoot. Surprisingly, Brooke actually manages to stay on the sidelines so BK’s photoshoot goes well. Eventually, Brooke and Moniece discuss the night that Brooke bogarted Moniece’s studio session. Brooke reiterates that she thought Moniece was faking passing out and even tells Moniece that she jacked her song. Moniece said that she had switched doses of some medication and it messed her up and surprisingly tells Brooke to take the song and flourish. Brooke was dead wrong for taking Moniece’s song, but if Moniece isn’t mad then… I guess. Moniece and Teairra Mari decide to end their friendship over lunch with the girls. Basically, TT is upset over some he-said, she-said stuff based on something K. Michelle said to another friend of Moniece’s about TT and the sex tape, and questioning Teairra’s veracity over the fact that she was a victim. Hold that thought. Back in the US, Brooke goes to Akbar to be messy and conveniently brings up TT. According to Brooke, TT said that Akbar is dead to her. But according to Akbar, he and TT are still in communication with each other despite the fact that her lawyers told her not to. They’ve still been having sex and even that was allegedly filmed, and TT even flew to Dallas to see him. TT also told him she would drop the case and get rid of the lawsuit if he gets rid of his women, but he won’t. Akbar also sends her proof of their dalliances. Brooke meets up with K. Michelle and Moniece and they start talking about TT’s sex tape situation again, and this is when Brooke pulls up video Akbar sent of himself dropping Teairra off at the airport. Obviously, this looks bad for TT. The episode ends with Paris tossing water on K. Michelle because they can’t let go of their situation. You know, K Michelle says Paris is a thief for using her card without permission. Paris says she took Ubers on K. Michelle’s card because K. Michelle put the app on her phone since she was K’s assistant, and they both refuse to let it go even though they said they were going to let it go and move forward several episodes ago. You know they had to leave us hanging with the Teairra Mari sex tape stuff, but next week is when the big confrontation goes down. We all want to know what’s up with that! Folks, no matter where you fall on the political spectrum, it’s been a difficult few weeks news-wise. And now, we might all be forced to endure another public spectacle that no one asked for or expected … We’re talking, of course, about a Josh Duggar comeback. Yes, if you’re a Duggar aficionado you might have noticed a lot more Josh in your life lately. And, like everything else the Duggars do, that’s 100 percent by design. For years, there have been rumors of Jim Bob and Michelle helping their son to return to public life, and now it seems it’s actually happening. Perhaps they’ve been emboldened by the current political climate, or perhaps they simply feel enough time has passed that fans will have forgotten the severity of Josh’s sex crimes . Whatever the case, the effort to rebuild Josh’s public image and welcome him back into the Duggar media empire has begun in earnest. It started with Josh appearing in several Duggar Facebook posts back in September. It continued as Josh and Anna celebrated the 10-year anniversary of their engagement this month — as though that’s actually something people celebrate. Those festivities prompted rumors that Josh and Anna’s marriage is a sham , as Anna appeared undeniably miserable in all of the accompanying pics. So that was an unexpected bump in the road of Josh’s recovery, but Jim Bob is every bit the PR genius that Kris Jenner is, so he was well-prepared for the inevitable rumors that Josh and Anna are headed for divorce . As In Touch Weekly reports, longtime Duggar family friend Josie Bates married Kelton Balka this week . The Bates are reality “stars” in their own right (though not nearly as famous as the Duggars), so this qualified as a public event. And that makes it the first time Josh and Anna have attended a non-family related public event since he was embroiled in multiple consecutive sex scandals back in 2015. So you can bet it won’t be long before Josh starts making appearances on Counting On again. Will Duggar fans turn their backs on the family in protest?
