Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker stopped by “ The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, ” to give some updates about projects they’re working on and so much more. According to KATU 45-year-old grandfather Jason Washington was attempting to breakup a fight and was shot dead by police who arrived on the scene. The legal gun that Washington was carrying visibly on his waist fell to the ground as he struggle to separate the feuding parties, police spazzed out and fired shots into him. Several messages are written onto this pillar near PSU where campus police shot and killed a man early Friday. So hey, have you been keeping an eye on Amber Portwood lately? Because what’s been going on with her is pretty darn bizarre. Like, if you think of Amber Portwood, you don’t think of anything good, you know? You think about the time she hauled off and hit Gary Shirley in the face, or you think about the time he was walking down some stairs and she kicked him right in the back, and how if he wasn’t such a big dude she actually could have seriously hurt him with that. Or you think about how much she always screamed and yelled at Gary right in front of their daughter, Leah. Or you think about how she used to leave Leah crying in her crib while she laid in bed. Or about how she chose to serve a five-year prison sentence instead of giving rehab another go, and how she thinks that makes her the best mother in the history of mothers . Maybe your Teen Mom OG viewing began a little later in the series, and hearing Amber’s name brings back memories of the greasy horror that was Matt Baier. There’s also a chance that the way she picked up Andrew Glennon while on Marriage Boot Camp with Matt sticks out the most in your mind, or how she went on to get pregnant with his child after knowing him for like two weeks. Basically, Amber has always been a mess. A great big one. She’s violent, rude, self-centered, and just so many bad things. But the weird thing is that lately, she’s been kind of … nice? She went off on a few of her classic Twitter rants during her pregnancy — she’s never been great to turn down a chance to tell everyone what a “damn good mom” she is, even after getting called out for only seeing Leah twice during her summer vacation last year. But as she got closer and closer to her due date, she seemed to calm down a lot, and after giving birth to a seriously adorable baby boy she named James back in May, she’s been almost serene. It’s been nothing but calm, sweet social media posts, including the most precious pictures of her new baby . And in this new interview she did with Us Weekly, she explains why she’s been so different lately … Because this time around, she wants to be a damn good mom, for real! About her first go at motherhood, she admits “I was clueless.” “I didn’t want to ask questions because I didn’t want to sound young or stupid. This is a chance for me to really show what kind of mother I am.” Leah’s is going to be 10 years old in November, so Amber’s had plenty of time to show what kind of mother she is with her, but sure, let’s focus on the baby, whatever. “Before, I wasn’t mature nor was the relationship right,” she explains. “I want to make sure I don’t fall into old patterns and get into a depressed state.” “I have to take care of myself. Healthy mommy, healthy baby.” She also says that unlike back when she and Gary had Leah, “I’m more driven and have the means to take care of a baby better.” No one would argue that a 28-year-old would have an easier time raising a baby than an 18-year-old, but isn’t it a little odd how she’s acting like she’s completely done with parenting Leah, like she had her chance but it’s gone now? Anyway, as for Andrew, Amber says “He is such an amazing man and loves taking care of James.” “He was afraid of postpartum depression, so he’s always checking up on me. He just wants to make sure I’m loved. It’s almost perfect.” We’re sure we’ll see that “almost” part in the next season of Teen Mom OG — after all, Amber is known for her habit of making things seem perfect on social media before everyone sees how messy things actually are on the show. But for now, we hope things really are going as well as they seem to be. We also hope she realizes that she still has a chance to be a great mother to Leah, but one thing at a time, right? At long last, months and months after we learned that Farrah Abraham had been fired from Teen Mom OG, we finally have news that MTV has officially replaced her. And the mom they picked … well, you’re not going to believe it. Really, you’re not going to believe it, because it doesn’t make any sense. It’s not Mackenzie McKee, even though she was the obvious choice, and we’d been hearing over and over again that she was going to be taking Farrah’s place . It’s not any of the other Teen Mom 3 girls. It’s not even someone from any of the seasons of 16 and Pregnant. Nope, according to a new report from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Cheyenne Floyd will be rounding out the Teen Mom OG cast going forward. And if your only thought is “Who?”, then you’re not alone. There’s a chance you may be familiar with Cheyenne though — she has appeared on other MTV reality shows like Are You the One? and The Challenge. She’s 25 years old, and she shares a one-year-old daughter named Ryder with Cory Wharton, another cast member from The Challenge. You don’t have to be great at math to realize that that means she was never a Teen Mom, but sure, MTV, great choice. It’s going to be weird because not only is she going to ruin the “original girls” thing the show has going on now, and not only is she going to be unfamiliar to many, if not most viewers, but she’s also never had the experience of being a teen mom. Which, you know, is what the entire show is supposed to be about. Sure, things are different now that the OG cast members have been famous and pretty wealthy for several years, but still … it’s weird. The Ashley says that while MTV was considering Mackenzie McKee or even Mackenzie Standifer, Ryan Edwards’ wife, for Farrah’s replacement, those options “fizzled out.” A source claims that they “realizes that the fans weren’t going to be excited about either option . So they continued to look.” If fans weren’t excited about either Mackenzie, they’re sure not going to be excited about Cheyenne though, right? Even worse, the report states that Mackenzie McKee was “very interested” in joining the show — and you know it could have been helpful for her to have that MTV money to help with her mother’s medical bills . But apparently it’s already a done deal, and MTV will start filming Cheyenne next week. As a source explains, “It’s official. The only way this doesn’t happen is if Cheyenne or Cory backs out, but contracts have likely already been signed so it’s highly unlikely.” Another source says that Cheyenne and Cory “have been playing up the ‘happy co-parents’ role” for a while now, ever since they were approached for the show. However, “Their co-parenting relationship is nowhere near as happy as they try to make it out to be on social media. They will fit in perfectly on Teen Mom.” So there it is. Honestly, MTV shouldn’t have been so worried about replacing Farrah — many fans thought the show worked well with just Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood. With all the Ryan Edwards drama , Amber’s new baby , and Catelynn’s mental health struggles , there was more than enough material to make for a good reality show. Sure, some people might grow to enjoy Cheyenne, and there may be some people who tune in for the first time to watch her. But several viewers are already complaining about the choice, and more than a few are already prepared to skip her scenes altogether. MTV … why? Before we go any further, allow us to say up front: There are no winner in this situation. There are no sides to take between Jen Harley and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Both really need to go away and figure out some sort of amicable relationship for the sake of their daughter and that’s pretty much where we stand on their never-ending, ridiculous, scandalous drama. Still, we’re obligated to report on it. So here we go… During this week’s episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation , Ronnie told his roommates that he didn’t completely trust Harley because she had cheated in the past. (The installment was filmed months ago, remember, prior to Harley giving birth to Ronnie’s daughter in early April.) “You’re nervous she’s going to cheat on you?” Deena asked Ronnie at one point. “Yeah,” he replied. “Because she did before?” Snooki follow. “Yeah,” he said again. The thing is, of course, Ronnie cheated on Harley on muliple occasions himself; shamelessly so, as we witnessed on previous installments of the Jersey Shore reboot. “Nobody’s perfect. I did my dirt too,” Ronnie did acknowledge on this new episode, adding as an excuse: “But everything I did was a reaction to her actions. I’m also not used to being with someone like myself. Like, I met my match.” That much has been clear by the very public fights Jen and Ronnie have engaged in of late. Before we recount those, however, let’s hear from Harley, shall we? Is Ronnie at least telling the truth? Did she sleep with another man behind his back? “I’m sure he’s referring to when we were dating for about a month or two,” Harley tells Us Weekly , confessing to her sins, but making it sound like they shouldn’t really count. She continued: “We hadn’t established a real relationship; my ex came back around. I had mixed feelings at the time. We just got out of a four-year relationship.” A mere month after becoming parents, Jen and Ronnie WENT OFF ON EACH OTHER via social media . “Note to self: Can’t turn a natural-born HO, into a HOUSEWIFE,” Ronnie said to open this back-and-forth several weeks ago, adding of his baby mama: If you find them in the gutter, leave them in the gutter.” He followed this up with another post that read as follows: “If your significant other keeps sex videos of their ex, shouldn’t they show enough respect to delete them, esp. after being in a new relationship for over a year?” Ronnie also referred to Harley as a ” cum dumpster .” This happened a few weeks after she gave birth to his child. As you can see, these two bring out the worst in each other. And the worst of it all was captued on camera: Ronnie Magro Gets Into Altercation with Jen Harley In her chat with Us Weekly, Harley says her cheating with her ex is what got Ronnie all worked up. “This is all part of the Instagram fight we got into because of this incident,” she admits. “When I came clean about this, he came clean about three times he hooked up with other girls in the same time period. “We decided we wanted to be together and work though this and not to ever do it again.” This is what Harley says… but consider what she allegedly did in Las Vegas on June 7. She surprised her man in diabolical fashion, an insider tells this same tabloid, while was shooting scenes for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 2. “Ronnie and Jen have been fighting over their daughter,” this source said of the recent fight, explaining: “Ronnie has been filming the show in Vegas the last couple of days and Jen wouldn’t tell him where their daughter is. She showed up to the hotel where they were filming. “Jen lunged, spit and shoved Ronnie. Hotel security got involved, who then called the Las Vegas police department.” Sigh . It bears repeating AGAIN that these two have a very young child together. They really need to work something out.
It’s been two months since Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian , but remarkably, he has yet to be kicked to the curb. Yes, by all accounts, Tristan and Khloe have really committed themselves to making this relationship work — or at least Khloe has, anyway. According to a new report from Radar Online, Tristan hasn’t learned his lesson about sleeping around behind Khloe’s back. And it seems there’s one mistress in particular that Thompson just can’t get off his mind. Tristan allegedly hooked up with Lani Blair while he was in D.C. with the Cleveland Cavs. We know that Thompson has been in contact with Blair recently, but we assumed he was smart enough to at least keep the relationship platonic. Turns out, we were wrong. “Tristan’s so sneaky,” says one insider . “He wants Khloe to have a break from motherhood and go back to LA for a week or two to be with her family. He’s telling her she deserves some girl time with her sisters, cocktails in the sun and the warm LA weather.” First of all — warm LA weather?! C’mon, source! Last we checked, it’s June everywhere, and Lake Erie isn’t north of the Wall! Anyway, what really matters here is not the insider’s knowledge of meteorology, but their claims about Tristan’s ulterior motives: “The truth is, Tristan wants some time away from Khloe so he can be with Lani,” the informant says. “He told Khloe he’ll take care of all her expenses and take care of baby True in Cleveland and wants to put Khloe on the next private jet to L.A.” Yes, apparently Tristan still has “serious feelings” for Blair, and he just doesn’t know how to quit his stripper side-piece. “He misses those fun times and Lani makes him feels so good. He wants that type of comfort right now, especially since he just lost the finals,” the insider claims. “He’s not ready or in the mood to deal with Khloe, hear her run her mouth or work on their relationship just yet.” Oh, man. Hopefully, he doesn’t use the phrase “run her mouth” within earshot of Khloe. We’re pretty if you talk about a woman in those terms just weeks after you cheated on her while she was pregnant with your baby, she’s legally allowed to murder you. On Thursday, reports came out that Kellen Winslow II had been arrested — again — in San Diego, without really giving much detail about what he had allegedly done this time. His previous arrests were for marijuana possession and burglary. This time, things are looking much more serious. Winslow faces 9 different criminal charges, including kidnapping and multiple accusations of rape. He could face life in prison. First, here are the charges that WInslow II is facing , according to TMZ ‘s report. -Two counts of kidnapping with the intent to commit rape -Two counts of forcible rape -One count of forcible sodomy -One count of forcible oral copulation -Two counts of residential burglary -One count of indecent exposure We know that those last two don’t even sound like they’re worth mentioning in the context of those other, very serious charges. As we said earlier, if he is convicted of all of these charges, he could be facing life in prison. From what law enforcement officials have told TMZ Sports , Winslow was arrested by the Sheriff’s Major Crimes Division. The arrest went down at 1:05pm on Thursday. The San Diego District Attorney informed TMZ of what happened. “A warrant was issued this morning for Kellen Winslow II’s arrest,” the D.A. revealed. “And he was taken into custody by San Diego Sheriff’s Deputies Thursday afternoon.” (Of all of the tattoos that Kellen Winslow II has accumulated over the years, he says that this Frederick Douglass quote is one that he does not regret or intend to have removed) The 34-year-old professional athlete played football for the NFL from 2004 to 2013. Now, he has been placed into police custody at the Vista Detention Facility, a San Diego county jail. In the mean time, a search warrant has been carried out upon his residence. Winslow has been married to his wife, Janelle, since 2006. Son Jalen Maximus Winslow was born in February of 2011. Daughter Juliana Arielle Winslow was born in August of 2013. On June 7 of 2018, just a week before Winslow’s arrest for these very serious charges, he was arrested fleeing an Encinitas, California mobile home park. At the time, he was only charged with felony first degree burglary. The exact accusations against him remain unclear, as does the timeline for how the alleged burglary connects to … everything else. But these are deeply disturbing and disgusting allegations. It is believed that they come from at least two different women, but a lot of details are still up in the air. Many people have already taken to social media to express their sadness that Janelle and her children are caught up in alleged crimes that they have not committed.
