Hey, so, remember how Prince Harry kind of threw shade at Meghan Markle’s family ? Apparently, his offhand comment about how well his fiancee was getting along with his family managed to enrage all of his in-laws. Including Meghan Markle’s father, who is reportedly “extremely hurt.” Recently, the Ginger Prince himself spoke about how well Meghan Markle was getting along with the royal family. Unfortunately, Harry may have gone a little too far in his praise. At one point, he said this: “She’s getting in there and it’s the family that I suppose she’s never had.” That seems like a tremendous insult hurled at Meghan’s family — his future in-laws. And it’s not going over well. Thomas Markle Jr. reports to The Daily Mail that his father, Thomas Markle, is “extremely hurt” by Prince Harry’s words. He spoke up in defense of his father’s family skills. “He dedicated the majority of all his time and everything to her.” Thomas Jr. is 51; 15 years older than Meghan. That tremendous age gap makes us wonder just how close they were. “He made sure she had what she needed to be successful and get to where she’s at today.” Having what you need to become successful isn’t all there is to family. Thomas Jr. continues to defend his dad and Meghan’s upbringing. “She’s had a really good family.” Wendy Williams has pointed out that Meghan Markle’s family has had its … troubles, to say the least. “We were as close as we could be, as tight as we could be, that’s what we were.” Those are some interesting qualifiers for Thomas Jr. to use. “We’d get together on Christmases, on holidays, on birthdays, on Thanksgivings.” That sounds like the relationship that most people have with cousins who live out of state, not with their immediate family. “It was always somewhere, even though we lived in different parts of [Los Angeles], we still all got together.” We should probably mention that Thomas Jr. hasn’t actually spoken to his sister since 2011. That’s nearly 7 years, folks. “Obviously, she had a family. She was very privileged. She got everything she ever wanted.” It’s always suspicious to hear one person say that another always got whatever they wanted. No one can speak to that but the person in question. “We did the best that we could in terms of getting together for holidays and whatnot.” Thomas Jr. follows up his defense of the Markle family by adding that he’d really love an invitation to the royal wedding. “I don’t know if she gets to invite who she wants. But she’ll reach out if she wants me there, she’ll call me.” That seems less likely after this interview, don’t you think? “She knows where to find me. But that’s up to her, there’s no pressure.” By virtue of saying this in an interview, he’s applying pressure. But he also makes it clear that his interest in attending the wedding is hardly personal: “I wouldn’t mind seeing my little sister have the biggest wedding in the world. That would be incredible. … If my dad doesn’t walk her down the aisle, then I will.” Before Thomas Jr. talked about how neat it would be to see his estranged sister get married, another Markle had already weighed in. Meghan Markle’s half-sister clapped back at Prince Harry . Apparently, that’s just Samantha Grant’s style, as she said: “She has a large family. She always did. Our dad is amazing and completely self sacrificing. We made it so that she had two houses. How fun it was!” Look, you can put a positive spin on divorce all that you like. Sometimes, a divorce is the best thing that ever happens to a family. But just because you’re happy with the way that things were doesn’t mean that everyone was. If, as appears to be the case, Meghan has told Harry less-than-happy feelings about her family growing up, those are her experiences to share. For millions of readers, the alphabet now ends with “y.” Perhaps that’s a fitting tribute to a woman who devoted her life to entertaining the masses with perplexing mysteries. Sue Grafton, the author best known for the Kinsey Milhone “alphabet mysteries” has passed away at the age of 77. She had reportedly been battling cancer. Grafton came to readers’ attention in 1982 with the first Milhone book, A Is for Alibi . It took her five years to write the book, and sales were sluggish at first. Grafton didn’t publish the second book in the series until, B Is for Burglar until 1985. Shortly after the book hit stores, a glowing review in Newsweek forever altered the course of Grafton’s life and career: “It just undid me,” the author said in an interview. “‘Gosh, someone’s paying attention.’ Then I started doing a book a year.” Yes, from 1985 on, Grafton has published a new Milhone mystery every single year. Her latest, Y is for Yesterday was released in August of this year. In one of her final interviews, Grafton stated that she was looking forward to completing the series: “I think it will be interesting to have a day and a week and a month and a year that isn’t already spoken for,” she said. “The last, actually, 38 years, I’ve known exactly what I’m doing next. And this is a little moment of freedom – if I can come up with a storyline for Z is for Zero , which remains to be seen.” Sadly, readers will never find out what Grafton had in store for the series’ conclusion. Her loved ones say the author abhorred the ideas of ghostwriters and adaptations, and they’ll honor her wishes to be the only one at the helm of the Milhone series. News of Grafton’s passing was made public today, via a loving tribute posted on social media by her daughter Jamie: “I am sorry to tell you all that Sue passed away last night after a two year battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family, including her devoted and adoring husband Steve,” the post reads. Very sad news today out of Hollywood: Jordan Feldstein, the brother of movie star Jonah Hill and veteran manager of beloved music group Maroon 5, died on Friday of what reports have confirmed to be a heart attack. He was 40 years old. Feldstein worked as a talent manager who had been at the center of Maroon 5’s success ever since the Adam Levine-fronted band debuted 15 years ago. He is survived by two children. “Unfortunately, last night Jordan called 911 for shortness of breath,” said his family via a statement that adds: “When paramedics arrived it was determined he went into full cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter.” Feldstein started his by working for ICM and Bill Leopold Management. He later became the founder and CEO of Career Artist Management, a company whose client list includes: Maroon 5, Adam Levine, Iggy Azalea, Robin Thicke and Elle King. A representative for the Los Angeles Coroner’s office told People Magazine that police are investigating Jordan’s death as a possible accident. This is because the same office is conducting tests to determine if the music executive’s death was related to ingesting some kind of substance or substances. “His family asks for privacy during this difficult and unexpected time,” the statement from the family continued. “In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name.” Feldstein, whose sister is an actress, was previously married to Francesca Eastwood, the daughter of Clint Eastwood. The couple secretly tied the knot at a Las Vegas wedding chapel on November 17, 2013… only for Eastwood to file for an annulment just a week later. Jordan Feldstein was a childhood friend of Adam Levine’s and helped negotiate his deal to serve as a coach on The Voice. Neither Hill nor Levine has yet commented publicly on Feldstein’s passing. Live Nation, however, has released the following statement: We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Jordan Feldstein and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Jordan was a gifted manager whose artists benefited greatly from his guidance and talents. He will be missed by his Live Nation and Roc Nation family. We send our condolences to his loved ones. After her baby daddy Adam Lind’s latest arrest, Chelsea Houska wisely moved to limit his visitation with their daughter . And that makes even more sense when you here the details of the charges that he’s facing for his domestic assault. All four of them. As we mentioned, Adam Lind was arrested … again … and has some serious legal struggles ahead of him. This time, it’s wasn’t for yet again testing positive for meth right before having a visitation for one of his kids. It wasn’t even for another domestic assault, though it’s definitely related to his recent bout of alleged violence against a woman. This last arrest was for violating a protective order. How did he get a protective order — forbidding him from coming near or contacting baby mama Stasia Huber — in the first place? Well, hear it in Stasia’s own words: “While under the influence of drugs, alcohol, and steroids,” Stasia reveals in court documents. “he fractured my forearm.” That alone would be a nightmare and, quite frankly, enough for us to be just fine with the idea of Lind spending a solid chunk of time in prison, but Stasia Huber continues: “… Locked me in the house saying I couldn’t leave, smashed my phone …” Terrifying. She’s describing being imprisoned and cut off, unable to flee his alleged violence and also unable to call for help. “And once he realized what he had done, he broke down crying and took me to the ER.” A lot of abusers display remorse; it doesn’t mean that they’re going to change. And it doesn’t undo their unforgivable actions. So, what do those horrible deeds look like in official, legal terms? RadarOnline got a hold of some court documents. After Adam Lind was arrested on November 2nd, he was charged with: For the first count: “He did attempt to cause bodily injury to another and had the actual ability to cause the injury.” For the second count: “Did recklessly cause bodily injury to another.” For the third count: “Attempting by physical menace or credible threat to put another in fear of imminent bodily harm, with or without the actual ability to harm the other person.” And for the fourth count, he was charged with intentionally causing bodily harm to another. Quite frankly, we’re surprised that none of those charges includes kidnapping or false imprisonment or something along those lines. (It’s always possible that the charges could be amended, we’re sure) Considering the allegations against Lind, the charges, the fact that he apparently violated Stasia’s protective order, and the timeline — that he got busted for meth as recently as April … well, he’s in a whole heap of trouble. Adam Lind was released from jail . Maybe this time, he’ll pay attention to Stasia Huber’s protective order. All of this is fodder to reduce or outright end visitations. Quite frankly, a man who does the things of which Adam Lind is accused does not need to be around children, no matter how much he may love them in his moments of sobriety. Chelsea Houska is really one of the better mothers in the Teen Mom franchise. By all appearances, Aubree would be better served by spending zero time with a ‘roided out meth-head. Honestly, Adam Lind’s arrest record isn’t colorful — it’s chilling. Visitation and custody topics could be moot, depending upon what the court thinks of his behavior.
