It took place at a gay nightclub called Pure and the atrocity was committed by a 29-year old named Omar Mateen. Someone on the FBI's watch list after the organization interviewed him in 2013 and 2014 for possible terrorist ties, Mateen was still permitted to legally purchase the guns he used in this heinous attack. This has become a point of contention and anger for those who believe America needs stricter gun control laws, especially when it comes to automatic weapons. And this is the side on to which Conan falls. O'Brien says in the following video: “At a time when we think we've heard the worst stories about senseless violence in our country, that it couldn't possibly get worse, the news out of Orlando yesterday is still impossible to fathom.” “That so many people can lose their lives so quickly because of one person's demented rage will never make sense and God help us if it does.” Mateen – who was shot dead by police after a hostage situation and standoff – used an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle to commit these murders. That’s the same high-velocity weapon used in the mass shootings in San Bernardino, California, last December; and in Newtown, Connecticut; and Aurora, Colorado. As for those feelings regarding her former spouse? “At that time, I did still love Jeremy. I did,” she said. “I mean, I’m over it. Completely over it, but that’s just recently happened. If you watched the Teen Mom 2 Season 7 finale last night, you know that the show left us with enough questionable decisions to leave us shaking our heads until next season (or at least until next week’s reunion show). Last night, Eason topped his previous questionable behavior by interacting with Jenelle’s sons in a way what some viewers described as verbally abusive. On what was supposed to be a fun fishing expedition, Eason went off on 6-year-old Jace when the boy was being too loud for his liking: “Hey! No screaming Jace,” Eason scolded.“You’re 6 year’s old. Do not scream like a little girl. It’s not funny or a joke to scream like that. It’s so aggravating.” When 1-year-old Jace began crying, Eason re-directed his fury: “Son I wish you would quit screaming,” he said before telling a friend: “He just won’t never stop screaming unless you give him exactly what he wants all the time. He takes after his daddy, he’s a little screaming b–ch.” As is her habit, Jenelle blamed MTV for the negative portrayal of the new douche in her life: “Not watching once again,” Jenelle tweeted. “Highly disappointed and only caught a glimpse for 5 secs. Jenelle, Jenelle, Jenelle. If you want to regain custody of your son Jace, you should probably start acting a little more responsible. While she’s come a long way since her days of drug addiction , there are certain rules most moms just know, like, don’t let your kid have Coke before bedtime. (Coca-Cola, to be clear. Not, ya know, the other coke. But don’t give your kid that, either.) In a preview clip for Teen Mom 2 , Jenelle’s mom Barbara comes to pick up six-year-old Jace and finds Jenelle in a state of exhaustion. “I’m not going to be able to do this,” she tells her mom. “I had like, four hours of sleep because everyone had caffeine all night and didn’t go to sleep until like 2 a.m.” She explained that she and boyfriend David Eason went to dinner, and when they came home they discovered Jace had gotten into the soda. “We came back home and they were still awake,” Jenelle continued. “I ordered pizza for them and I had Coke in the refrigerator that was mine and Jace was drinking it.” This send Babs over the edge. “When Jace comes you’ve got to hide the Coke!” she tells her daughter. Barbara then takes a very cranky Jace and struggles to get him in his car seat. The boy kicks the car and screams at his grandmother. “I’m tired!!” he yells from the back seat. “Every time you come from Mommy’s house you’re mean,” she tells him. Jenelle is in the middle of a custody battle with Barbara , who is currently Jace’s legal guardian. Giving your son caffeine isn’t the worst offense ever, but the girl’s gotta step it up if she’s going to convince the courts she can handle her son.
Jenelle Evans’ boyfriend, David Eason, was arrested today. If you watch Teen Mom 2 online , or even if you’re only vaguely aware of the details of Jenelle’s life, then you know brushes with the law aren’t exactly rare in the life of Ms. Evans. This time, however, it seems her man simply got a raw deal. According to Radar Online, Eason was taken into custody this afternoon after he saw his son at a local grocery store and gave the boy a hug. Yes, the man was literally arrested for hugging his son. It seems Eason’s ex was granted an order of protection against the 27-year-old following an incident of alleged domestic violence last year. Apparently the boy was shopping with his grandmother, who got angry when she saw Eason give his son a hug. “David got arrested today because he has a no contact order on him,” a source explains. “And he was in the grocery store getting juice for Kaiser when he saw his son and gave him a hug. “His ex’s mom was with his son, not his ex, and her mom got mad and told his ex. His ex contacted the police…Since he was around his son, he ‘violated’ the no contact order.” Eason was held for several hours and eventually freed on $2,500 bail. Eason has been arrested several times , and the details of his restraining order are not known, but for obvious reasons, most fans are taking the stance that his ex’s mother seriously overreacted by calling the police.
Another day, another fun duet between Taylor Swift and a fellow major name in music. After taking off her clothes as a back-up dancer to Nelly in St. Louis, Swift moved her “1989” tour to north of the border to kick off October. On the third of this month, she performed for fans in Toronto and brought Charli XCX out with her at one point to sing a duet of the latter's smash, “Boom Clap.” “BOOM. CLAP. @charli_xcx just killed it in Toronto,” Swift wrote on Instagram along with a video of the pair getting down with one another. The British singer-songwriter later returned the compliment, writing along with a backstage photo of her and Swift: “Thanks for having me tonight @taylorswift. P.S. Jenelle Evans was reportedly rushed to the hospital this weekend after she fell in her driveway and hit her head. Radar Online has photos of Jenelle’s injuries . Sources say the 23-year-old reality star required several stitches and was not released from the hospital until the following morning. The injury was apparently a result of flooding that affected Jenelle’s home state of South Carolina as a result of Hurricane Joaquin. “Jenelle was going out to dinner with her boyfriend David and friend Tori, and when she got home, everything was flooded on her street and she slipped and fell on the driveway getting out of the car,” says one insider. The source says Jenelle is “in pain and tired,” but is recovering at home. Given Jenelle’s history of drug problems , many will wonder what sort of state she was in at the time of her fall. Prior to the accident, Evans was out on the town with her new boyfriend David Eason , but there’s no word on if they were drinking. Jenelle has yet to speak publicly on the incident.
