The actress, best known for her role on Rome , will come on board Game of Thrones Season 4 as the character of Ellaria Sand, the paramour of another key new character: Pedtro Pasca’s Red Viper. HBO is yet to reveal a premiere date for the fourth season of its epic, but fans can expect a return to Westeros some time in the spring of 2014. It appears as if David Fincher has finally found his girl – and her name is Rosamund Pike. Pretty much everyone’s reaction is “Rosamund Pike?!?!” but this is David Fincher, and who questions David Fincher? I’m certainly not about to. Starring alongside Ben Affleck in Gone Girl , Pike has been cast as Amy Dunne, the main female character in Gillian Flynn’s best selling novel. The book sold over two million copies and the film is highly anticipated. Also in talks for “supporting roles” are Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry. Not quite sure what those supporting roles would be, but those two men are the big rumors swirling around right now. If you are looking to see some of Rosamund Pike’s current work, she can be seen in the upcoming Simon Pegg and Nick Frost film. Check out this The World’s End trailer now!
