That’s basically what the reality star wondered over the weekend, as she touched down in Los Angeles – following a PDA-filled trip to Cannes with Kanye West – and lamented the loss of a few luggage items. “Very disappointed in British Airways for opening my luggage and taking some special items of mine! Some things are sentimental and not replaceable,” Kardashian Tweeted Saturday. “What happened to the days when you could lock your bags! We need to get back to that. There’s no sense of security and no trust! Shame on you.” Poor Kim. Allow us to offer a couple responses to her questions at least: 9/11 happened to the days when you could lock your bags. Consider this a lesson learned: next time, travel with a three-ounce bottle of lubricant.

‘The Raven’ actress reveals to MTV News she spends ‘a healthy amount of time in the makeup chair — though not as long as Spock.’ By Kara Warner Alice Eve Photo: MTV News Much like the lock and key that all “Star Trek” plot details were kept under during filming the first time around, the same goes for the untitled “Trek” sequel . We know which key players are back in place, alongside new additions Benedict Cumberbatch, as the unidentified villain , and actress Alice Eve, but we don’t know exactly how the sequel’s story will unfold. When MTV News caught up with Eve recently during the press day for her upcoming period thriller “The Raven,” we attempted to find out a few more details about what character she might be playing in asking how long she spends in the makeup chair each day before filming. “I’m a healthy amount of time in the makeup chair — though not as long as Spock,” Eve revealed. “We were filming until very late last night, and I know that’s all I can say. It’s a top-secret operation; it’s like a war.” Although Eve is new to the “Trek” family, two of her co-stars are very familiar faces, Cumberbatch and Simon Pegg, with whom Eve worked on “Starter for 10” and “Big Nothing,” respectively. When asked how the reunion has been, Eve broke out into a wide grin, saying, “Both of them I’ve worked with before, and it’s a true, true pleasure to see them again. Really fun.” Eve went on to tease that her fans will be surprised by “a few things” about her performance in the film and re-emphasized the fact that she’s having a blast on set. “I’m having a lot of fun, and it’s a very special experience to be on J.J.’s [Abrams] movies,” she said. “He’s a real good leader.” The British beauty has equated the atmosphere on set with going to camp or school. “When there’s a group of people who you can spend time with and work with and get to know, a real good experience, it’s kind of like going back to university or something, when everyone has got the same objective,” Eve told MTV News . “There’s a lot of energy, and it’s a nice thing to be a part of that group. That’s the thing that excites me most about it. The Don Cartagena has clocked in more than 19 years in the rap game and rubbed shoulders with some pretty iconic hip-hop figures, so when studio pictures of him, Kanye West , Jadakiss, Mos Def (now known as Yassin Bey) and Busta Rhymes hit Twitter last week, Joey chalked it up as another one for the record books. “Hip-hop moments, that’s it. It was just a back-in-the-days hip-hop moment,” Joe Crack told MTV News after a taping of MTV2’s upcoming “Hip Hop Squares.” “For, like, a whole week, we’ve just been vibing, everybody’s been vibing with each other, and it’s a beautiful thing.” Though he wasn’t in the pictures, Joe confirmed Q-Tip was also in those vibing sessions. It’s no secret that Joey Crack is a fan of the former A Tribe Called Quest frontman, and he believes his recent deal with Yeezy’s G.O.O.D. Music will further cement ‘Ye as a musical genius. “Smartest thing Kanye West ever did,” Joe said of the signing. The Bronx, New York, MC wasn’t completely forthcoming about what he has cooking with West and company. Still, Joey did liken the interaction to the days when he would randomly pop up in music videos with 1990s rap staples like Black Sheep, Das EFX and Lord Finesse. “I’m in every Lord Finesse [and] Das EFX video, so it just felt like back in the days, every hip-hop head in New York City getting together with Kanye,” he said. “We were discussing hip-hop politics, who’s hot, who’s the new, who’s this, who’s that, and we just had an amazing time.” In February, Joe told MTV News he was a pretty big Yeezy fan , but the two have never worked together. Whether we’ll ever hear some type of collaboration remains to be seen. “You seen every rapper in that picture, but once you seen Fat Joe in there, you already know what it is,” he said. “You already know it’s official. Former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ co-star says at Sundance that ‘My Week With Marilyn’ actress ‘had the clearest idea about what she wanted to do.’ By Josh Wigler, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Michelle Williams Photo: Jeff Vespa/ WireImage PARK CITY, Utah — A lot has changed since the days of “Dawson’s Creek.” Joshua Jackson is off fighting a war between parallel universes on “Fringe.” Katie Holmes is busy trying to get her husband down from that stupid couch. James Van Der Beek is … somewhere. But perhaps the most impressive arc of the old “Dawson’s” gang belongs to Michelle Williams. Since wrapping up her role as troubled teen Jen Lindley on the WB series, Williams has racked up two Academy Award nominations, for “Brokeback Mountain” and “Blue Valentine.” Very soon, she could be looking at her third, as many onlookers consider her a lock for a Best Actress nod for her work in “My Week With Marilyn,” a role for which she’s already won a Golden Globe. Though her days on the “Creek” are long behind her, Williams’ work has not gone unnoticed by her former co-stars. MTV News spoke with “Lay the Favorite” star Jackson at the Sundance Film Festival, where he expressed his joy in seeing his old friend’s success in the awards circuit. “It’s surreal in that it would be surreal to see any of your friends [up for an Oscar],” he said. “It’s amazing. She’s an excellent actress.” Still, Jackson doesn’t sound surprised by Williams’ continued awards buzz. “Of all of us, when we finished that show, she was the one who had the clearest idea about what it was that she wanted to do,” he said. “To be able to go out and achieve that is no small feat. I just think it’s wonderful.” That said, Jackson joked that Williams must be getting a bit tired of all the attention from Oscar voters: “You think she would be bored of it by now. She has to do a guns and explosions movie. ‘Come on! Enough!
