Nude this week on the boob tube, we welcome Girls to the Sunday night lineup with open arms and a bare butt from series creator Lena Dunham . Also nude on HBO, Game of Thrones features fantasy fun bags from The Tudors’ Natalie Dormer and porn babe Maisie Dee , and on Showtime, Holliday Graniger and Jemima West bare Vatican titties on The Borgias . Finally, Magic City continues to cast a nude spell on Mr. Skin with spectacular topless scenes from Jessica Marais and Elena Satine .

Allure Hosts Its Annual Naked Fakeout with the "Look Better Naked Issue" [PICS]

It’s all our fault, really. Fashion magazines keep promising to show us supermodels and other celebrities naked, and we keep falling for it, even though all we ever get after flipping through one of these glossy periodicals is the stink of perfume samples on our hands and a patronizing smile from the lady at Barnes & Noble. The 2012 edition of Allure Magazine’s annual “Look Better Naked” feature is mostly more of the same as Extra ‘s Maria Menounous , Smash ‘s Debra Messing , Think Like a Man ‘s Taraji P. Henson , Homeland ‘s Morena Baccarin , and model Heidi Klum all pose “magazine naked” with the good parts obscured from view. Naturally, the accompanying copy praises these celebs for their bravery for exposing parts of themselves that wouldn’t even be blurred out on a major network sitcom, but in Mr. Skin’s book, if it ain’t boobs, bush or butt, then it’s not really nude. So special commendation belongs to Leslie Bibb , currently starring on the series GCB , for surpassing all of our cynical expectations by actually showing full buttcrack in a fashion magazine. Extra! Extra! Ogle all day over it: Maria Menounos is totally naked in this month’s issue of Allure . Granted, you can’t see the TV personality’s goodies, but you can see a lot more here than you even saw when Menounos donned a bikini in Times Square following the Super Bowl in February. She looks darn good. But does she look better than Smash star Debra Messing, who also wears her birthday suit for the magazine? That’s the question we pose below, as we ask readers: Which of these beauties would you rather see naked and in your bed? If you know what we mean! NOTE : There is also a photo of Heidi Klum nude in this issue. But we couldn’t include her in the poll because, come on. She’d garner every vote.

He got engaged to Emily Maynard, but that fizzled out before long. Now it’s Emily being sought by ABC to return for another stint on the reality franchise. In fact, the network has already asked her to be The Bachelorette, sources say, and despite her earlier lack of interest, “It’s basically a done deal.” Wow. Another source close to Emily Maynard , the single mom of six-year-old Ricki, tells Life & Style that while “she hasn’t signed the contract yet, she’s fully on board.” Since splitting with Brad in May after becoming engaged to him on The Bachelor season finale, the North Carolina product has been linked to various men. Jeremy Shockey of the NFL’s Carolina Panthers and Most Eligible Dallas cast member Matt Nordgren come to mind, though she has denied seriously dating either. Perhaps the allure of being The Bachelorette grew on her. “Emily is America’s sweetheart,” adds the source. “Fans will be thrilled! Everyone loved her.” True. If Emily doesn’t pan out, look for a castoff from Ben Flajnik’s season to fill the role ( The Bachelor spoilers we’ve read single out a few prospects).
