Sarah Harding Knows How To Dress

Meanwhile, while all of us were busy stuffing ourselves with leftover mashed potatoes and turkey, over in London, Sarah Harding was stuffing herself into one hell of an awesome dress. As you can see, it’s got cut-outs in all the right places, which means we get cleavage and leg shots at the same time. So unlike last night, you don’t have to decide whether you want some breast or the leg, you can just have both. Tasty. » view all 31 photos Photos: WENN.com

Update: 76-Year-Old Milwaukee Man Who Fatally Shot Unarmed 13-Year-Old Black Neighbor Found Guilty Of Intentional Homicide

At least one mother who lost her young son at the hands of a savage scumbag received justice… Elderly Milwaukee Man Convicted Of Murdering Unarmed Teenage Neighbor The elderly Milwaukee man who shot and killed his unarmed 13-year-old neighbor whom he suspected of burglarizing his home was rightfully recently found guilty of intentional homicide. via Fox News A Milwaukee man who suspected his 13-year-old neighbor of breaking into his home and stealing weapons was convicted Wednesday of fatally shooting the boy as the teen’s mother looked on. Now, jurors will decide whether the 76-year-old defendant was mentally ill at the time. A jury deliberated for about an hour before finding John Henry Spooner guilty of first-degree intentional homicide. Surveillance video from his own security cameras showed him confronting Darius Simmons in May 2012, pointing a gun at him from about 6 feet away and shooting him in the chest. Spooner had entered two pleas to the homicide charge: not guilty and not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect. That set up the trial to be conducted in two phases: the first to determine whether he was guilty of the homicide, and if so, a second to determine whether he was mentally competent at the time. SMH at the “mentally ill” defense being considered. It’s time out for making justifications for people killing young black boys because they felt like it. And in FRONT OF his mother, at that? This scumbag can go UNDER the jailhouse. Continue reading

Kristen DeLuca Knows How To Dress

Here’s actress/model/former Hooters girl Kristen DeLuca on the set of some movie called Live Nude Girls , and I’m having kind of a hard time figuring out what that is. So far I’m only seeing two out of three. Which means either it’s false advertising, or they haven’t gotten around to filming the good part yet. Either way, I’m gonna need to see more before I decide whether the movie looks any good. Photos: PacificCoastNews

Mary J. Blige Says New Album Will Sound Like ‘My Life 2011’

The soul singer returns to her roots on latest effort. By Mawuse Ziegbe, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Mary J. Blige Photo: MTV News Mary J. Blige has switched it up in recent years, collaborating with hot young voices like Drake and Trey Songz and even trying her hand at rapping . The nine-time Grammy winner has pretty much conquered the R&B game, so it’s fitting that her next effort will take listeners back to some of the classic Mary sounds that started it all. “Swizz [Beatz] and I, [we’re] in the studio cooking up something real nice,” Blige told MTV News backstage at the VMAs. The songbird, who hit the stage on Sunday with Swizzy and Drizzy for “Fancy,” revealed that she and the super-producer are crafting sonic heat similar to her first two studio albums but plan to update the vintage Blige sound. “[It will be] more like [ What’s the 411? ], My Life 2011, ’12. It’s headed [in] that direction but in a new [way]. Not what it used to be.” Blige dished that the follow-up to 2009’s Stronger With Each Tear may come with some club joints but didn’t promise any of the house-music-inspired rhythms that have popped up in hits like “OMG” and “Closer” from fellow R&B vets Usher and Ne-Yo. “Right now, it’s going in the Mary direction, which is R&B and hip-hop and soul,” Blige said. “If it goes into the club direction, it will probably be more soulful than futuristic.” Blige has time to decide whether some speaker-rattling joints will make her next album as she’s set to kick off another major undertaking before her upcoming LP drops. The songstress will rock a headlining tour this fall and has recruited budding soul stars Jazmine Sullivan and Miguel for the trek, which kicks off October 2 in Mobile, Alabama. R&B vet El DeBarge is slated to appear on certain dates. Are you looking forward to Mary’s new music? Let us know in the comments below! Related Artists Mary J. Blige

Meryl Streep, Jeff Bridges Keep Hope Alive

Great Hope Springs is not just another marriage-counseling drama. It’s a pedigreed, Oscar-baiting marriage-counseling drama that now counts Meryl Streep and Jeff Bridges as front-runners for its two leads. They would play a middle-aged couple in the middle of a marathon matrimonial crisis during which they decide whether or not to stay together; Jessie Nelson is set to direct from a script by Vanessa Taylor. Don LaFontaine Immortalized (Again)

In a world where late, legendary voice-over artist Don LaFontaine lent his singular baritone to more than 5,000 trailers and TV spots, there’s only one way to truly commemorate the man: An educational institution. The SAG Foundation on Friday will open such a facility in Los Angeles, dedicating the Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab for the next generation to learn and hone their own crafts. Who knows? Maybe someday even they can star in a GEICO commercial of their own. [ THR ]

What Are the Pros and Cons of Moving the Oscars to January?

By now you’ve no doubt read the news that newly chosen Oscar producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer might be asked to start working on the telecast a little earlier than initially expected. Movieline sister site Deadline reports that the Academy Board of Governors is meeting to decide whether the 83rd Academy Awards should air sometime in January instead of the previously staked out date of Feb. 27, 2011. And while a few weeks might not seem like an earth-shaking decision, you’d be surprised at how many people are not cool with this. As Awards Daily scribe Ryan Adams wrote, “I only wonder what the hell has the Board of Governors squirming so restlessly that they suddenly want to overhaul and bastardize 83 years of tradition?” Um, bad ratings? But is that reason enough to make this change? Ahead, Movieline offers some pros and cons to the whole sordid affair.
