Demi Lovato Tweets to God: Really, Dude?!?

Demi Lovato has had a difficult year, and in the latest issue of Seventeen she opens up about all the people who have been there for her : Selena Gomez, Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus. Notice one name missing from that list? God. Indeed, the singer sort of went off on The Big Guy Upstairs yesterday, Tweeting: “Sometimes it seems like God just keeps throwing crap my way and I get SO angry with him… But there’s never a doubt in my mind He’s gonna pull me through it all. I know you’re there God. But umm… Really dude? He never fails to show me He’s by my side though. Even in the tough times. #Godstuff” Demi isn’t the first young star to openly bring up her faith, as Justin Bieber got a new tattoo this week of Jesus Christ . Lovato later added, though, that she is not religious, but “VERY spiritual and I DO believe in God. I’m not perfect or preaching! Just tweeting…” and finally concluded the mini-rant on a positive, Nemo-related note: Just keep swimming.

Demi Lovato New Year’s Eve Performance: Watch Now!

Demi Lovato pulled double duty for MTV last night. The artist, who had one of the best years of any celebrity, according to THG readers , hosted that network’s New Year’s Eve celebration alongside Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey. She also performed her latest single, “Give Your Heart A Break,” in front of a raucous crowd. Watch and listen below: Demi Lovato – Give Your Heart A Break (Live on New Year’s Eve) Lovato joined a slew of other singers across the country last night, all of whom helped ring in 2012 on stages situated in Hollywood, Las Vegas and New York City. Nicki Minaj, for example, danced around to the hit ” Turn Me On ” as part of Dick Clark’s Rockin New Year’s Rockin’ Eve special.

Demi Lovato Releases Lyric Video for New Single

Demi Lovato is currently battling it out with Miley Cyrus in the finals of the first-ever Tournament of THG , as each young star hopes to be named the readers’ favorite celebrity of 2011. But the singer has still found time to release a special lyrics-based video for her next single, “Give Your Heart a Break.” Consider it a pre-video for the official music video, which comes out next week. Look for this 19-year old sensation to perform the track live on Saturday night at MTV’s NYE in NYC 2012 , which she’s co-hosting with Tyler Posey. Demi Lovato Visits Treatment Center, Asks for Prayers

Demi Lovato came full circle over the weekend. A year after spending the 2010 holiday season at Timberline Knolls, the residential treatment center that helped the singer deal with issues stemming from her bipolarity , Lovato returned to the facility as a guest speaker on Sunday. Demi Lovato – Skyscraper (Live in Chicago) “Wow what an inspiring day… Many tears were shed and many memories were brought back,” Demi Tweeted, adding that she was “honored” to speak with “beautiful women fighting their inner demons” throughout the afternoon. Lovato – who performed Saturday night at Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre, as shown above – concluded her message with: “Please say a prayer for all of those struggling with eating disorders, self harm, mood disorders, and substance abuse.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: The Secret Wedding!

Congratulations are in order for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart: The couple is married! If you believe this cover story from In Touch Weekly , that is. The supermarket tabloid claims Rob and Kristen made it “OFFICIAL!” during a SECRET WEDDING IN ENGLAND recently, so – despite any quotes, sources or evidences – there’s no reason not to assume this is true, right? In related news that is not complete and utter BS: Breaking Dawn broke the $400 million box office barrier last weekend and is expected to take first place again this week. We’ll update the figures on Sunday. But no one bother Pattinson and Stewart with them, okay? Those two are busy on their fake honeymoon.

Yeeeeeah Buddy: Pauly D Signs With 50 Cent!

G-G-G-G-G-G-Unit! Pauly D is officially a member of 50 Cent’s G-Unit team. The Jersey Shore star/DJ has just been signed to the rapper’s G-Note record label, 50 confirmed on Twitter, adding a photo of the pair together. Pauly also chimed in about the deal: “Big Big Things In The Works @50cent And @DJPaulyD !!!!!” he Tweeted. “#yeahhhhbuddy” (A rep for G-Unit also confirmed the signing to MTV News .) Talk of a Pauly D/ 50 Cent collaboration has been floating around since the summer when the MTV reality star teased a joint album to Billboard. Said the man with the most talent of anyone in his MTV-sponsored house, not that this fact says very much: “I’m focusing on music. That’s my passion. I’m working with 50 Cent now. I’m gonna do an album with him. It’s going to be a little bit of everything. It’s almost like DJ Khaled and kind of David Guetta but my own DJ Pauly D style.” This deal with Fiddy is merely Pauly’s next step in an ever-growing empire. His brand also includes a residency at Las Vegas nightclub Rain at the Palms Resort and Casino. Heck, the tall-haired reality star even opened for Britney Spears on her Femme Fatale Tour this summer and may join her again at her December 10 concert, the final stop on her world tour.

Demi Lovato Warns Suitors: I Have Baggage

By many accounts, Demi Lovato is dating Wilmer Valderrama . But in the January issue of Glamour , the singer doesn’t mention that older actor by name. She does, however, respond to a question about her love life in general, going into detail about what she’s seeking in a boyfriend. “Someone who’s not only supportive in my career but also in my [emotional] recovery. It’s a big responsibility dating me. Because I come with a little bit of baggage, you know? I’m completely open. I’m honest about the journey I’ve been on, so I definitely don’t take dating lightly anymore. And they have to make me laugh!” That journey, sadly, has included years of cutting . Lovato says she reminds herself of those low points via tattoos on each wrist. “I think scars are like battle wounds – beautiful, in a way. They show what you’ve been through and how strong you are for coming out of it. My tattoos say “Stay strong.” “Stay on one [wrist] and “strong” on the other. Now I’m able to look at them and be thankful for being alive. I think that I’ve been blessed over the past year to be able to start over.”
