Lea Michele Doesn’t Look Like Lea Michele in Marie Claire of the Day

Lea Michele has proven in January’s Marie Claire magazine…that with the right hair person, make-up person, photographer, and digital re-toucher….she can be made to look like someone who isn’t her…you know soften out those tranny features she’s tried to correct with surgery…cuz she doesn’t like being the ugly leading lady on a show about freaks who can sing…that she doesn’t realize was cast to showcase how the Glee club is for fucking losers…while the hot chicks are busy sucking off the football team and/or not being on the fucking Glee club….because all the hype and attention they got around the show…kinda distracted from the simple fact that her mangled up face was in fact meant to be the ugly leading lady….so the demographic of losers buy into the shit….but Marie Claire, with her vagina hugging ONSIE, have pulled through, and made her into something I would probably fuck, not that I wouldn’t have fucked her before, but I wouldn’t like to admit that I would have….like I don’t like admitting I’d fuck trannies if I was drunk enough and their tits were big enough…. Point being…she looks kinda good and all you weirdos who were into her before, can send these around to all your friend who laughed at you for admitting were into her….redemption.

Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams to Become New American Idol Judges?

The American Idol judging carousel has now stopped at Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams. Following the rumor that Brad Paisley was under serious consideration to join this panel on Season 12, Us Weekly has now presented fans with a new scenario: Randy Jackson will be moved to mentoring status and both these young artists will slide in next to Mariah Carey behind the critical desk. “Nick is pretty close to signing to be the Idol judge,” one insider says of Jonas . “They flew him in to L.A. last week for final meetings.” Jonas, of course, is very good friends with new X Factor star Demi Lovato. He even played a duet with Lovato during a concert in Los Angeles this month. Producers reportedly think Nick and Pharrell – who has produced hits for Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Gwen Stefani – can bring a younger demographic to Idol . We had no idea the demographic had grown above 14. Which of these two options would have you more excited to tune in next year?

‘Spider-Man’ Musical Debuts After Web Of Issues

‘If you are really trying something extraordinary, it’s going to be difficult,’ original director Julie Taymor tells MTV News at premiere. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Rick Marshall “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” Photo: MTV News After months and months of pre-production, including injured actors, troubles with the script and a complete overhaul, the beleaguered Broadway musical “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” officially opened on the Great White Way on Tuesday night (June 14). MTV News braved the rain and crowds at the Foxwoods Theater in the heart of midtown Manhattan to chat with the musical’s production team about what the show’s fits and starts have taught them along the way. “It’s just hard to do anything when you’re trying to do something new and big and different,” original director Julie Taymor said of the challenges. “If you are really trying something extraordinary, it’s going to be difficult. And that’s OK, because eventually you get there.” “I think what happened is that when they were in previews, they discovered that the demographic was so big, they had 6-year-old children in the audience, they had 86-year-old grandparents in the audience. They wanted to make sure the show could reach out to all of them,” explained new director Philip William McKinley. “I think we tried to make the story a bit more linear,” added writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. “But we also tried to bring the characters that fans know and love, Mary Jane, Aunt May, Uncle Ben, the Green Goblin, we tried to give them more material and go a little bit deeper on their journeys.” McKinley told a story about watching two young boys in the theater’s lobby “webbing” each other after one of the preview performances, who declared it the “best Broadway show ever” and said they couldn’t wait to see their next musical. “I thought, ‘Perfect, let’s develop those new audiences,’ ” McKinley said of bringing more people into the theater experience. “The people that we’ve met in the community who really care for the art, they want to see new blood, they want to see new innovation,” said Bono, who wrote songs for the show with U2 bandmate The Edge. “They want to see new characters onstage, and I think we brought that.” For breaking news and previews of the latest comic book movies — updated around the clock — visit SplashPage.MTV.com .

Glee plans tribute to the Bieber

It was bound to happen so I might as well just get it over with. Glee is planning a Justin Bieber themed episode. There I said it. This might be the least surprising news I’ve heard all month. I have nothing against the kid, truly I don’t. Okay so yeah his hair bothers me, and the one song I’ve heard of his…”Baby…something”…grates on my last gay nerve in a way that makes blood pour from my eyes. But I’m almost 40 and soooooo not his demographic so the producers of Glee don’t care much what I think about it. What they do care about is the literal army of tween girls (and some boys) are going to have a proverbial cow over this, as well they should. And more power to them. I remember when I used to have cows…totally. Is it just me or does he look like Shaun Cassidy in that photo? Da doo run run run run da doo run run. This episode is rumored to be planned for February 15, just in time for Valentines Day and the release of Justin’s new movie Never Say Never , which hits a multiplex near you on February 11th. And never say never, I might actually enjoy it. Glee has been known to endear me to music that I didn’t like the first time around. So I’ll keep an open mind. And even if I don’t, I doubt the Bieber Army will lose much sleep over it. That having been said, my boy Puck is not going to be happy about this.

‘Breaking Dawn’ Star Nikki Reed Is ‘Starting To Get’ Justin Bieber

‘He’s a talented kid,’ the actress tells MTV News of her late-breaking case of Bieber Fever. By Kara Warner Nikki Reed Photo: James Lacsina/ MTV News When it comes to rabid fans, it would seem that the “Twilight” franchise fanbase and that of teen chart-topper Justin Bieber have a lot in common. For instance, both have extremely dedicated fans, complete with playful nicknames — “Twi-hards,” “Be-liebers.” Both groups are prone to burst into ear-piercing screams and heavily influence awards-show voting. So when MTV News recently caught up with “Breaking Dawn” star Nikki Reed , we asked whether she had any special insight into Bieber Fever, having experienced the kind of fan-demonium he has. “I didn’t really understand that for a while, and I finally get it,” she said about the singer while promoting her new flick “Last Day of Summer.” Reed said her “a-ha” moment came when she stumbled upon vintage Bieber videos online, which show the singer at 6 years old, playing guitar on the side of the road. “The excitement and passion in his eyes and his voice, this little tiny kid holding this big huge guitar … he’s singing, his voice penetrates into the world,” Reed recalled. “People across the street were listening, it’s truly incredible. He’s a talented kid.” The “Twilight” actress added that while she might not personally fit into his demographic, she has slowly come to realize the power of Bieber. “He’s got a very specific look and style thing that he’s going for. I didn’t understand or connect with that [at first], just like the Jonas Brothers, but I’m starting to get it with the Biebs.” Are you surprised to hear Nikki Reed is a fan of the Biebs? Arizona community demands School "lighten up" black/latino mural faces

It is difficult to fully explain the impacts of Arizona's burgeoning and overt anti-immigrant climate these days. To outsiders it must seem like either the inmates have finally taken over the asylum, or alternatively that someone is finally standing up to an inept federal government. To those of us living here, it further appears as either a formalized decree of misguided policies that have long been in place below the radar, or a chance to finally push a brewing agenda to its logical and necessary extreme on a statewide scale. While all of these sentiments possess a kernel of truth, more to the point is that Arizona today has in many ways simply become a veritable theater of the absurd. To wit: legalizing racial profiling, banning ethnic studies, dismissing teachers with accents, lauding “ethnic cleansing” policies, militarizing the border, seeking to abolish the 14th Amendment (the one that makes the bill of rights applicable to the states and makes anyone born here a citizen), and more. Still, all of this pales (pun intended) to a recent localized atrocity that speaks volumes to the climate of antipathy and purification being plied here in the desert. In a twisted feat of modernized and imposed “passing,” artists in Prescott have been pressured to “lighten” the dark-skinned faces on a just-completed public mural due to a backlash inspired by a city council member who said that he failed to see “anything that ties the community into that mural.” In other words, the appearance of a brown-skinned face in the mural is not reflective of the community – despite the fact that demographic data indicates that people of color comprise over 15% of the regional population, and that in Arizona as a whole this demographic represents an estimated one-third of the state's inhabitants. In fact, and as a partial explanation for the mural flap, a 2008 population trend study commissioned by Yavapai College shows that the percentage of nonwhite residents in the area has doubled in the last twenty years and is continuing to rise. Mirroring patterns seen statewide, one can sense the backlash from people attempting to maintain the “old guard” status quo of well-defined power and race relations in the face of rapid change, as reflected in this comment from Prescott City Councilman and local radio host Steve Blair about the disputed mural: added by: timetide
