Ho Sit Down…NOW: Former President Bush FEMA Director Says President Obama Responded To Hurricane Sandy “Too Quickly”

First Donald Trump and now this shady azz character?? Former Bush FEMA Director Criticizes President Obama For Quick Response To Hurricane Sandy Did the GOP have  a bath salts and booger-sugar bash last night while President Obama was busy addressing the nation and doing his duty as President to help brace the east coast for the wrath of hurricane Sandy? Because this is the only rational explanation that we can think of for why these fools continue to go public with these dumb and dumber statements like this one.. via Think Progress Former FEMA Director Michael Brown offered criticism of President Obama’s early responses to Hurricane Sandy yesterday, including a dig at the administration’s response to last month’s attack in Libya. Yesterday, ahead of the storm’s pummeling of the eastern seaboard, Brown gave an interview to the local alternative paper, the Denver Westword, on how he believed the Obama administration was responding to Sandy too quickly and that Obama had spoken to the press about Sandy’s potential effect too early. Brown turned then to a reliable right-wing attack on the President’s response to the attack on a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi that killed four Americans: “One thing he’s gonna be asked is, why did he jump on [the hurricane] so quickly and go back to D.C. so quickly when in…Benghazi, he went to Las Vegas?” Brown says. “Why was this so quick?… At some point, somebody’s going to ask that question…. This is like the inverse of Benghazi.” It must be azz backwards day. Cause that made absolutely NO sense. SMH.

Jessica Ridgeway Killer Confessed to Crime, Prosecutors Say

Austin Reed Sigg , who was arrested this week for the kidnapping and murder of 10-year old Jessica Ridgeway, reportedly confessed to the heinous crime, prosecutors said today. During a court hearing this morning, authorities said Sigg – a student at Arapahoe Community College – admitted to taking Ridgeway’s life and also to attacking a jogger in the area. They also told a judge that “overwhelming” DNA evidence exists that links Sigg to the crime. Sigg, 17, will be formally charged on October 30 and is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, felony murder and kidnapping in relation to Ridgeway, who vanished on October 5 and whose body was discovered on October 18. Police in the Denver suburb of Westminster said they took Sigg into custody on Tuesday night after receiving a call from his mother. Mindy Sigg, meanwhile, told The Associated Press that her son turned himself in. “I made the phone call, and he turned himself in. That’s all I have to say,” said Mindy.

Madonna Pulls Gun at Denver Concert, Some Fans Not Pleased

Some concert-goers in Colorado were upset with Madonna’s pulling out guns on stage during her concert in Denver Thursday night, according to KUSA-TV. In light of James Holmes’ movie theater slaying of 12 people July 20 in Aurora, a suburb of Denver, many attendees weren’t delighted to see the Queen of Pop strapped. Madonna pulling out guns is not new; she’s done it at every MDNA tour stop. The Material Girl has said she does not condone violence or gunplay and uses them as “symbols of intolerance” and “the pain [she has] felt from having [her] heart broken.” What do you think: Madonna pulling a gun on stage …   It’s all in good fun! It’s a lame cry for attention! It’s an irresponsible stunt! View Poll »

Candy Crowley, CNN Debate Moderator, Accused of Anti-Romney Bias

CNN has come under fire for moderator Candy Crowley’s performance at this week’s presidential debate , but the network brass is standing by its political correspondent. Candy Crowley Debate Highlights Some observers feel she was disproportionately harsh on Mitt Romney. The network doesn’t believe it, but worries about anything that “calls into question CNN’s impartiality.” CNN’s Managing Editor Mark Whitaker sent an email around the office praising Crowley and trying to blunt criticism that she was biased toward President Barack Obama. It reads: “Let’s start with a big round of applause for Candy Crowley for a superb job under the most difficult circumstances imaginable.” “She and her team had to select and sequence questions in a matter of hours, and then had to deal with a tricky format, nervous questioners, and aggressive debaters, all while shutting out pre-debate attempts to spin and intimidate her. She pulled it off masterfully. ” “The reviews on Candy’s performance have been overwhelmingly positive but Romney supporters are going after her on two points, no doubt because their man did not have as good a night as he had in Denver .” “On the legitimacy of Candy fact-checking Romney on Obama’s Rose Garden statement, it should be stressed that she was just stating a fact. Obama did talk about an act (or acts) of terror, no matter what you think he meant at the time.” “On why Obama got more time to speak, it should be noted that Candy and her commission producers tried to keep it even but that Obama went on longer largely because he speaks more slowly.” “We’re going to do a word count to see whether, as in Denver, Romney actually got more words in even if he talked for a shorter period of time.” You be the judge: Was Candy biased?   Yes No View Poll » Who won the debate Tuesday?   Barack Obama Mitt Romney View Poll » Who should win November 6?   Obama-Biden Romney-Ryan View Poll »

When The Checks Stop Coming In: Terrell Owens Tweets About Being Released From Seattle Seahawks…”I’m Truly Blessed And Have Faith”

Terrell Owens Released From Seattle Seahawks Poor thang. Terrell Owens’ NFL return lasted less than three weeks. Owens was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, part of the league-mandated roster reductions from 90 to 75 players. The 38-year-old posted a message on his Twitter account shortly before 11 a.m. PDT that he had been released and the Seahawks made the move official later in the afternoon. “I’m no longer a Seahawk. I THANK the organization 4 the opportunity, I’m truly blessed beyond belief. My FAITH is intact & will NOT waiver.” Owens wasn’t the only veteran to get cut by the Seahawks. Offensive linemen Deuce Lutui and Alex Barron both had their veteran contracts terminated, while Seattle waived/injured defensive back Roy Lewis (knee), tight end Cameron Morrah (toe), defensive tackle Pep Levingston (knee) and linebacker Jamison Konz (shoulder). Owens signed a one-year deal with Seattle (No. 22 in APPro32) on Aug. 7, following a sterling workout that had coaches and Seahawks staff raving about how good he looked for having not played an NFL game in more than 18 months. He signed just before Seattle’s first preseason game and made his debut in the second week against Denver. But his preseason performance was more notable for the passes he dropped than anything he caught. Owens dropped a potential 46-yard touchdown against Denver on a perfect throw from Matt Flynn. He failed to make a catch in any of his five targets against the Broncos and then had another glaring drop against Kansas City on Friday night. He finished the preseason with just two receptions — a 40-yard catch from Russell Wilson where Owens had to slow down and lean back to haul in the pass and a 1-yard reception on a screen. Owens was trying to make a comeback after not playing since Week 15 of the 2010 season while with Cincinnati. He sat out the entire 2011 season following surgery on his left knee and failed to receive any offers. SMH at T.O. trying to be all polite and “blessed and thankful” now. He should’ve been humble and not a douche when he was in his prime, and maybe he wouldn’t be in this predicament. We wish him the best though. Source
