Neal McDonough:No to Love Scenes

The Desperate Housewives actor, Neal McDonough, was replaced by David James Ellicot after having several days of shoot for the show Scoundrels. It happened when Nela McDonough refused a love scene with his co-star Virginia Madsen. The reason why he refused the scene is that he is a family man and a Catholic. It is clear to ABC that he won’t do love scenes. There are also shows that he didn’t get involved like in Desperate Housewives with Nicolette Sheridan and also in NBC’s boomtown or that network’s Medical Investigation. Sticking to his principles cost him jobs. Maybe, for him it’s not a problem to lose a job just to do what you believe in.
