In Rihanna’s much-anticipated interview with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America this morning, we saw a poised, beautiful girl talking about a painful subject. She discussed how then-boyfriend Chris Brown beat her down in February, how she managed to break free from him and how she feels about it now: “Eff love.” Rihanna declares she’s “strong” but still embarrassed and ashamed .

Time for a bumper RIHANNA post! So many leaks in this last week I can’t keep up! My favorite of the recently leaked tracks is BUBBLE POP , which samples GOOD LIFE by the INNER CITY (please don’t tell me you are too young to remember that tune!) Of course this one is not on the album, but rumored to be from the GOOD GIRL GONE BAD sessions, go figure!. I’m also loving RUSSIAN ROULETTE but none of the rest of these are really grabbing me, they may be demo versions I suppose, but I’m waiting for an UMBRELLA …. yes I said it! ABC Considering Admitting the Obvious: Good Morning America Isn’t a News Show

Good Morning America was for years produced by ABC’s entertainment division, before people got all huffy about “journalism.” Now, as ABC contemplates what to do after Diane Sawyer departs for World News Tonight , it may be headed back. A source familiar with the discussions inside ABC tells Gawker that among the options Disney/ABC Television Group president Anne Sweeney is considering for GMA is returning some or all of the broadcast to the network’s entertainment division, a move that would simply formalize the de facto devolution of GMA —along with the other the morning newscasts—into a music-and-cooking show dressed up as a news broadcast.
