Kenya Goes In On Porsha For Allegedly Being Kordell’s Beard Whether Porsha was Kordell’s beard or not, she was still a wife…something Kenya has never been. According to Kenya’s Bravo Blog: When a woman states she married a man to “erase” his “tainted” celebrity, I hear “I was his beard.” I’ve heard half a dozen accounts on what her marriage was, and it’s clear Porsha can’t keep up with her own statements. I don’t care about Kordell’s sexuality any more than I care about their marriage. But I do care about the truth. I’m not sure how one “slays mud” as Porsha said, but that damage was already done in the beginning of her divorce by calling Kordell 50 different gay queens. They were married less than 2 years and have both moved on. Now that she has to make a way for herself, I wish her well. Whether it’s a short-term marriage as theirs was, or a serious relationship, all teach us how to choose better partners. Hopefully, for the right reasons next time around. Love And Hip Hop Sued For Copyright Infringement BOSSIP just received word that the VH1 reality show empire is about to take a serious hit in the form of a lawsuit totaling an estimated $50 million for copyright infringement. Among the plaintiffs in the suit is a production company by the name of 8th Wonder Entertainment, which claims that a script was submitted for a show called “Hip Hop Wives” that was set to star Chrissy Lampkin, DMX’s ex-wife Tashera Simmons and Swizz Beatz’ ex-wife Mashonda Tifere. According to legal documents, a pitch meeting was held with VH-1 and the show was given a green light, but unbeknownst to the plaintiffs, details of the script and the stars attached were leaked to Mona Scott-Young with the understanding the information would be kept confidential. Basically, the plaintiffs allege that Mona, along with VH1′s vice president plotted to steal their premise for what would become Love & Hip Hop . Ben Carson Says Gay People Don’t Get Extra Rights Via HufPo reports: Conservative Ben Carson let loose on gay marriage during his Saturday CPAC speech, reinforcing his belief in traditional practices. “As you know, I am not a fan of political correctness,” Carson told onlookers, drawing cheers. “I still believe that marriage is between a man and a woman.” Carson went on to add that the political world is full of “ideologues” and the only people that can stop them are the American people. While he believes gay people are entitled to their rights, Carson drew the line at “extra rights” that alter the institution of marriage. “Of course gay people should have the same rights as everyone else, but they don’t get extra rights,” Carson said. “They don’t get to redefine marriage.” Back in April 2013, Carson stepped down as commencement speaker for Johns Hopkins University’s School of Medicine after making some gay marriage comments that sparked outrage from students and faculty. “It’s a well-established, fundamental pillar of society, and no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality — it doesn’t matter what they are — they don’t get to change the definition,” he said in a Fox News appearance at the time.
