Dylann Roof’s Sister Starts $5K GoFundMe For Wedding The sister of Charleston shooting suspect Dylann Roof is asking the public for wedding donations. Via My Fox DC : Amber Roof created a GoFundMe account on June 27 stating her wedding was cancelled due to the tragedy that occurred at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston on June 21. “Our wedding day was suppose to be the most important and special day of our lives. It was suppose to start our lives together with our new family. Our day was the exact opposite. Our wedding day was full of sorrow, pain, and shame, tainted by the actions of one man,” Roof said in a post on the GoFundMe page. Roof went on to say all of her wedding details were published and made public, stating that “destroyed” their big day. Amber Roof is asking for money to help cover the lost wedding costs, to pay bills and to send her and fiancé Michael on their honeymoon. She said 10% of the funds raised will be donated to Emanuel AME Church. As of Thursday morning, more than $1,400 had been raised. The full GoFundMe post read: Dear Family & Friends, As many of you know Michael and I had to abruptly cancel our wedding day, due to the tragedy that occurred in Charleston. June 21st was suppose to be the happiest day of our lives. It is the day every girl dreams of, it was the day we dreamed of. Family Hires Additional Security For Bobbi Kristina’s Looming Death Bobbi Kristina’s family and friends are gathering to say goodbye to her as she rests in hospice and has been taken off all life aides. In the meantime, to preserve her dignity after death, the family is taking extra precaution to make sure that no one is able to snap intrusive photos on the day her body is eventually removed from the building. Via FoxNews : Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has worsened and she is barely clinging to life, a source close to the family tells FOX411. “She barely has any signs of life, hardly any vitals,” the insider said. “Security has been beefed up and even local law enforcement have been called because the families have been told that death is now imminent and they want to make sure that photographers don’t get pictures of her body being removed.” Brown, 22, was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta area home on Jan. 31. Last week she was removed from the hospital, taken off all medications and moved to hospice care. Prior to being moved to hospice, Bobbi Kristina was airlifted to specialists in Chicago to get a second opinion on her condition and options for treatment. “They too confirmed what Atlanta doctors had been saying that there was no hope”, the source continued. “That’s when she was taken off all meds and any artificial means of support.” We are told the trip was made to Chicago to convince Bobby Brown that he “truly had done all he could” in helping his daughter. “It seems that he had to get a certain amount of confirmation before really letting go,” the source added. “That trip is what convinced him to allow them to take her off her meds and to ‘go naturally’.” So sad.

Taye Diggs First Black Man To Star In “HedWig And The Angry Inch” Taye Diggs is returning to his Broadway roots…this time making history as the first Black actor to take the lead role in “Hedwig & The Angry Inch,” a musical about a washed-up German rock star who suffers a botched sex change operation and ends up chasing down a former lover who stole all his songs. Via MailOnline : He is set to return to Broadway in July. And on Thursday Taye Diggs was finally unveiled as the lead androgynous rock star in a brand new poster for the Broadway revival Hedwig And The Angry Inch. In the official poster, the 44-year-old appeared crestfallen while sporting a full face of glittering makeup that included shimmering blue eye shadow and hot pink lips. In May, Variety reported that Taye was next in line to replace Darren Criss as the famed East German rocker. The actor is the first African American man to tackle the role in the Big Apple. Taye recently gushed about the monumental role in an interview with People, referring to the opportunity as ‘the role of a lifetime’ before adding, ‘I also like wearing nail polish.’ Taye is following in the footsteps of actors Neil Patrick Harris, Michael C. Hall, and Darren Criss, who have all taken on the role of Hedwig. Taye rightfully seems pretty excited about being the first Black man to take on this legendary Broadway role.
