Popular Youtube Vlogger Biannca Prince is being dragged for filth after insinuating her baby’s brown eyes aren’t pretty. Moments after giving birth to a healthy baby girl, Biannca Prince looked at her daughter and said, ‘I thought you were going to have pretty eyes.” Her husband quickly retorted, “She does have pretty eyes.” Record scratch. A clip from the video has since made its way around social media, catapulting it into viral status and prompting the couple to respond to all the backlash. Apparently Biannca and her husband Damien can’t believe she is being called out for being a “colorist” and stepped on their digital soap box to explain the “eye” comments. To bad the explanation is absolutely worse. “When I said I wish she had ‘pretty eyes,’ I didn’t mean she doesn’t have pretty eyes,” she said trying to explain. “When i said pretty eyes, I meant the term “green eyes.” At one point, she asks her husband has anyone ever complimented his brown eyes? To which he responds, “No.” And she says, “exactly.” Then goes into a story about her sisters, with brown eyes, have never been compliments, but strangers always told her mother how beautiful her eyes were. Seems Biannca clearly missed the point, let’s clarify. This isn’t about preference, Biannca can’t see how she put a higher value on colored eyes for the simple fact that they’re not brown. Because brown eyes aren’t seem as beautiful as blue, hazel, green or even light brown eyes. Colorism has shown us that the lighter your skin or eyes, the closer to White and the better. Period. The request was granted Monday, according to court documents. Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill has been granted a new hearing in front of a new court, a milestone his legal team has been pursuing for years. The news comes just two weeks after the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office filed an appeal with the Pennsylvania Superior Court asking for a new trial with a new judge. “We’re looking forward to the oral argument before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and to, hopefully, having Meek’s conviction vacated,” Mill’s attorney Jordan Siev said in a statement. “In light of the District Attorney’s recent filing, where he supports the granting of a new trial to Meek and the recusal of Judge Brinkley, we hope to have this injustice rectified once and for all.” D.A. Wants Meek Mill To Have A New Trial, In Front Of A New Judge The ongoing battle between Meek’s legal team, which has called for Judge Brinkley to recuse herself from the case, and continues to refuse. According to NBC 10 : At the center of Mill’s legal battle is former Philadelphia police officer Reginald Graham, who is among a group of officers on an internal “Do Not Call” to testify list kept by the district attorney’s office. He was the sole officer to testify when Mill, whose legal name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, was first arrested on gun and drug charges in 2007. Since then, Graham’s credibility has been called into question. Several other cases involving the police officer have already been overturned, yet Mill’s conviction remains in place.
