Messy matrimonydom… “NEXT” Group Member Tweet Responds To Allegations He Abused His Pregnant Wife Remember the R&B group NEXT who rose to fame in the late 90s? Well, one of their group members was back in the news last week, but not it wasn’t for making music. According to TMZ, a restraining order filed by the wife of NEXT group member Raphael Brown aka “Tweet” in which she claimed he ”hit and shoved her, grabbed her by the neck, punched her in the mouth and kicked her in the stomach,” some of which allegedly took place while she was pregnant. His wife went on to allege that Brown roughly handled their 4-year-old daughter after she refused to kiss him in the mouth before breaking into a shouting spree about not having herpes…….although no one accused him of having herpes during the incident.
