Lil Wayne took time out to diss Jay-Z (again) and Kanye West after celebrating Young Money’s success at Cash Money’s annual pre-Grammy party. After celebrating the success of his label YMCMB with performances, plaque presentations, announcements ( Christina Milian is now signed to the label) and even a moment of silence for Whitney Houston , Weezy couldn’t help but take a jab at Kanye West and Jay-Z aka Watch the Throne . “I ain’t really got nothing else to say, but uh…I met a bad red bone, I took the b*tch home, I asked her what she want to watch she said surely not the Throne,” spit Weezy, who immediately dropped the mic and walked off the stage as the crowd reacted. This is the second such shot Weezy has taken at Jay-Z. Hip hop fans hoping for an all-out lyrical between Common and Drake just got their hopes dashed. In an exclusive interview with Nahright.com, Drake killed the hopes of any hip-hop fans (or proud Canadians) who thought he’d respond to Common’s diss on the “Stay Schemin” (REMIX). While on the set of the “The Zone” video featuring The Weeknd, Drake broke his silence about the Common diss: So people want to know: will you respond to Common? No. Because despite how it’s been worded by him that situation is not a “hip hop moment” or a “battle for the sake of musical integrity”…it’s a ploy for attention around the release of an album. More than anything it was just disappointing cause what kid isn’t a fan of what Common has done for our genre. A guy who made such an incredible career for himself based off expressing genuine feelings about life and love is now targeting me for sharing my story. Wow. Big Sean recently commented on Ludacris’ diss record “Bada Boom,” aimed at Sean and Drake , and now Drake has broken his silence as well. While Luda didn’t say any names, he made it clear at who he was coming for. Drake didn’t respond by recording a new song and dissing Luda, but commented on the beef via his Twitter page.In a message to Big Sean, he said: “@BigSean You awlready know.
