Straight from the baller’s mouth Via DailyMail Michael Strahan has called his divorce ‘one of the worst best things that ever happened to me’. The 42-year-old co-host of ‘Live! with Kelly and Michael’ and former NFL star opened up about his personal life in a special interview with Barbara Walters for ABC. She quizzed him about his two divorces, his first from Wanda Hutchins, with whom he has two adult children, and his second from Jean Muggli, with whom he has 10-year-old twin girls. He said he learned a lot from his famously acrimonious divorce from Muggli, whom he met in 1994 while she worked in a skincare salon in Manhattan. They married in 1999 and divorced in 2005. ‘It was one of the worst/best things that ever happened to me,’ he said, adding that media coverage painted him as a cheater one day, then having a gay relationship with a friend the next. When Muggli filed for divorce, she made numerous accusations against him, including that he had beat her, cheated on her and even recorded her sister undressing. A judge ultimately dismissed the claims. ‘It let me get to the point where I had to learn not to care what anybody thought,’ Strahan explained. ‘So I also didn’t want to say anything and fight back to the papers because that fed more into it.’ He added that it also taught him to focus on what was important: his daughters. ‘I had these two little babies and I don’t want my little ones to Google when they’re older… and say, “Daddy, why did you say this about mommy?” I didn’t want that.’ he explained. ‘It was more important for me to take it and deal with it as a father than to put my – to say something that could hurt my kids in the future.’ Way to keep it classy, Mike. Peep the smile in that mugshot…not a single regret and nary a fawk to give… Woman Assaults Husband’s Girlfriend While He Serves Her Divorce Papers Ladies, just think…what would you do if your husband showed up to your doorstep with his sidepiece and divorce papers ? Well a Memphis woman did exactly that — and then some — on Monday afternoon. Via WREG News : A woman is in jail after her husband came to serve her divorce papers and brought his new girlfriend along with him. Sharona Coach-Barnes faces assault charges after police say she took her anger out on her husband’s new lady. Coach-Barnes is being held on $30,000 bond. The affidavit reads like a soap opera, and police say Coach-Barnes was so angry, she even pulled a gun on the other woman. Police say Coach-Barnes lost her cool at a home in the 4400 block of Wooddale in east Memphis. According to an affidavit, Derico Barnes served her with divorce papers, and he brought his new girlfriend, Cherrita Evans, along. “I don’t see anything wrong with it,” one neighbor said. “They’re not together. He’s just letting his woman know there’s nothing to it. There’s nothing to her.” Riiiiiight…NOTHING wrong at all with throwing your girlfriend in your wife’s face while you’re still married. Totally logical thinking. How could anything possibly have gone wrong in this situation? Another neighbor, Teisa Foster, felt differently. “She should have got beat,” she said of Evans. That’s exactly what happened. Police say Coach-Barnes started punching Evans and even pepper-sprayed her. She and Derico took off running, but police say she wasn’t done yet. They say she got her mother and brother, found her husband and Evans, and pointed a gun at them as she drove by. Some said they understand why she would act out so violently. “Any kind of business that he has with her, he needs to do by himself until they get a proper divorce,” Foster said. “She has no rights in that.” Others said there is never an excuse for violence. “She didn’t do anything to her,” one woman said. “She needs to go to jail.” Welp, whether you feel the wife is right or wrong for delivering the fade …what exactly did this homewrecking ho think was going to happen? We honestly can’t see how she hopped in the car on the way to her boyfriend’s wife’s house NOT expecting to get slapped up and laid down by this woman. WREG
