It was far from the first report of a trouble between Cuoco and Sweeting , and as usual, it’s resulted in rumors that the newlyweds are headed for a divorce. The level of detail in the Life & Style report may be part of the cause for the widespread Internet speculation that Kaley and Ryan are soon to be dunzo. The anonymous sources on hand (or an enterprising tabloid BS artist) told a tale that had Kaley and Ryan behaving like caricatures of the way they’ve always been portrayed in the press: Cuoco is the clingy romantic (“She was whispering in his ear, begging him not to leave her.”), Sweeting is the aloof bro-douche. (“After Kaley walked away, Ryan put his finger to his head and pretended to shoot himself.”) It’s always satisfying when things play out exactly as you’d predicted, so it’s not hard to see why the Web has latched onto the “Kaley and Ryan Emmys blowout” story as a sure sign that things are soon to be over for Instagram’s happiest couple. Of course, Cuoco and Sweeting declined to draft a prenup, so the fact that Kaley just signed a $90 million contract for three more seasons of The Big Bang Theory only adds to the sour grapes appeal of the divorce rumors. Man Divorces Wife For Wanting Too Much Sex We’ve heard of husbands getting in their feelings over not getting it enough …but how many kick their wife out for chopping him down on the daily? Via HuffPost : We’ve heard of people divorcing over a sexless marriage, but divorcing over too much sex? You don’t hear that one every day. Apparently, one man was recently granted a divorce by a Mumbai family court because he could no longer deal with his wife’s “excessive and insatiable desire for sex.” According to The Times Of India, the sex-fatigued husband first approached the court in January, claiming that his wife was “aggressive, stubborn and autocratic” and that she’d be harassing him for sex since they married in April 2012. The man told the court his wife forced medication on him to boast his sexual stamina and threatened to hook up with other men if she remained unfulfilled. Things got so bad, the husband had to be hospitalized for an uneasy stomach at one point. In the end, the wife failed to appear before the court, so the divorce was granted. (Meanwhile, we couldn’t be happier for the poor, put-upon husband. May he go on to have as little — or as much — non-chore-like, consensual sex as he’d like.) Now he wants to be sure to put it out there that there was no extracurricular smashing going on on Nick’s end, since he already considered himself the luckiest guy in the world with her. Via PageSix : Mariah Carey’s father-in-law James Cannon says son Nick would never cheat on Carey — even though women surely came on to him. James also told a Page Six source that estranged Cannon and Carey could’ve been a “power couple” like Jay Z and Beyoncé if only his son concentrated more on his wife’s career. A devout Christian, James said outside his California home of reports Carey grew jealous of Nick being surrounded by women: “Were temptations ever there with other women? Not for Nick, he genuinely loved the married life . . . But did that stop other women coming to him? Probably not.” He said, “I know Nick tries really hard to stay focused and would say: ‘I’m with the most outstanding, gorgeous woman. I’ve hit the jackpot so why would I be with someone else?’ ” Recent news of a split came as a shock. “Everything was beautiful as far as I knew,” James said. “The separation has really caught us off guard.” He added Carey was “at our home two weeks ago, talking and laughing . . . I’ve never seen them argue.” And, “I see Mariah as an angel to our family . . . I never saw [her] as a diva.” James theorized that if the star couple collaborated on work, it would have saved their relationship. “If Nick could have somehow ran her business, or worked in conjunction with her, they would have been such a power couple in Hollywood,” he said. “It’s difficult, but look at Beyoncé and Jay Z.” James is still hopeful. “They need to stick this out,” he said, adding the couple has spent too much time apart with, “teams of people pulling them separate ways.” “The love is always going to be there, but they just don’t have that quality of time,” he said. “The last thing Nick will want to do is look back and think the marriage blew up in his face.” Aw, hopefully they can come to terms and work it out. At this point, it’s merely a matter of time before the official divorce announcement is made, with fans simply wondering just why the seemingly happy couple is breaking up. Someone is trying much, much too hard here. We’re not sure if that would be the star, in an attempt to convince us all is well with her marriage, or tabloids wanting to convince us it’s not … but someone is.
