Jeffrey Ross arrived for the Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne Barr yesterday dressed as Joe Paterno and accompanied by two young boys in only Penn State helmets and a towel. To many, though, this get-up was actually NOT the most offensive act by the comedian during the event. Still wearing his costume, Ross took to the podium and addressed a red-haired Seth Greene with a clear reference to alleged Colorado shooter James Holmes : “Congratulations,” Ross said to Green. “This is actually a really big night for you. You haven’t gotten this much attention since you shot all those people in Aurora.” To a mixture of boos and scattered applause, Ross then added: “I’m kidding! You’re not like James Holmes. At least he’s doing something in a movie theater that people remember.” Zing … ouch … and totally inappropriate ? Ross’ attempt at humor came a week after Dane Cook also made a stand-up joke about the incident, although at least Ross focused his quips on Holmes. Cook actually made fun of the victims. Still, even Roseanne herself said afterward that Ross “crossed the line,” adding: “But comedy is about moving the line… And where is the line in a country that has freedom of speech? In an interview with Complex , everyone’s favorite screamer decided to air out some steam over how people perceive him. “What are y’all gonna say now? Jay-Z stupid as hell? My sound is wack? You gonna say that? They love the sound. They can’t run away from it. That shit re-sparked n—as’ careers. My sound put life into a lot of people’s careers. I feel like my sound changed hip-hop. Period,” Waka told the magazine. “It’s crazy when I came out with it, everybody laughed at it, but the next year everybody’s doing it. They getting credit for the sh– you started. You be like, ‘Damn, how is this n—a a genius for doing something I started?’ Then he decided to go in on Rick Ross: “This n—a out here making 30 f—ing songs with your sound,” Flocka charged. “He watering it down, just putting words together that sounded good. Christian rocker says fans may have been ‘turned off’ when he decided to perform Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance.’ By Christina Garibaldi Colton Dixon on “American Idol” Photo: Fox American Idol had fans scratching their heads two weeks in a row after another shocking elimination . Potential favorite Colton Dixon, the Christian rocker from Tennessee, found himself in unfamiliar territory on last week’s episode, landing in the bottom three for the first time. Fans were convinced that he would return to the couch, but after 53 million votes, Dixon was sent packing. What’s the reason for his early exit? Well, according to Dixon, it was his song choice . The 20-year-old took the stage to perform two songs that night, the first being Lady Gaga ‘s smash single, “Bad Romance.” “I’m like, ‘I can metal the snot out of this song,’ ” Dixon told MTV News on Monday (April 23) about his thought process in choosing the song. “I just started getting giddy thinking about it. I saw the smoke and I was like, ‘I’m in!’ and I ran with it.” But now, Colton feels that the message of the song may have offended his fanbase. “I had fun with the song, that was who I was and I had a blast with it,” Dixon said. “And you know, it’s not necessarily a bad message, we all want something that’s not good for us, but that’s how I took the song and I had to edit around some of Gaga’s choice words to have it fit me a little better. But still, I think my audience heard Gaga and just went ‘Oh, weird’ and kinda turned off a little bit, which I understand. I take such a strong stance in my faith, I do understand.” Yet, Dixon has no hard feelings against the song, or Lady Gaga, whom he happens to be a big fan of. “I love her, I do. Kiowa Gordon’s leaked pics might seem standard for young Hollywood, but ‘Twilight’ Tuesday notes that the cast has largely avoided scandal. By Kara Warner Kiowa Gordon Photo: Jason LaVeris/ Getty Images With all the glitz and glamour associated with being a young celebrity in Hollywood, it’s hard to imagine there are any cons to fame and fortune. It’s safe to say that one of the more precarious aspects of being universally recognized is the fact that any time a celebrity does anything worth a tweet, photograph or snarky comment, they have the potential to generate many a headline. The amount of news coverage a star commands depends, of course, on the level of public interest, for which the minute details in the lives of Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian and the “Twilight” cast are of great importance. A lot of the newer stars find out about their headline-generating factor the hard way, as has been the case with Kiowa Gordon and a batch of private photos that were posted to a pornographic website. Never mind the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the incident; by all appearances, Gordon is doing his best to resolve the matter and move on. The “nude photos discovered” headline is so prevalent in pop culture that it’s almost expected. Speaking of expectations, because there are so many ways in which a young celeb might be photographed doing something naughty — they’re teenagers, for cryin’ out loud! — I think we can all take a moment to appreciate the fact that on the whole, the entire “Twilight” cast has done an excellent job in upholding the ideals associated with their role-model statues. There have been a few leaked photos here and there but no evidence of any kind of truly inappropriate behavior that is often associated with young stars. It really is an amazing feat when you think about how many young actors we’re talking about and how scrutinized they are. When I think about some of the dumb things I did in my teens, I thank my lucky stars that Facebook and Twitter were not around. I can’t even begin to think about how difficult it would be to navigate as a young celebrity. So as much as we love to obsess over our favorite stars, let’s try to not sweat the small stuff and appreciate them for being worthy of our continued admiration. The highlight of my life in both real life….and internet life….is not HAVING PHOEBE PRICE AS A FRIEND ON FACEBOOK …. If anything, I ignore her….It doesn’t make me feel like I am brushing internet shoulders with a famous person….It just depresses me that I know she exists…. This past weekend, she posted these pictures without her nipples, but with a link of the paprazzi agency who she paid to take them, I asked her how much she paid them to follow her, you know to help make her on her quest to get noticed even though she’s a nobody who does nothing…..and she didn’t answer…if anything, I think she might have blocked me for calling her hustle out for what it is….something I think her flashing her nipple does a good enough outlining, packaging, and explaining that to the public who bother paying attention….attention seeking in the most low level way…. It just irritates me that these idiots waste their time on shit that doesn’t matter, she should be spending less time promoting herself for doing nothing and more doing something that helps the world….but she is showing nipple and since that’s how I help the world….I guess I need her kind to give me something to give you that doesn’t belong to me…and I know that doesn’t make your life a better one….but I never said I was a hero or that I wasn’t a bottom feeder…I’m not an aspiring fake celebrity….but I do love nipples, even 40 plus and invisible thanks to being a light skinned redhead…who like all red heads probably has an offensively pink twat.
