Whether you love him or hate him, Donald Trump will host Saturday Night Live come this Saturday, November 7. The presidential candidate has made a joke of America’s political system, but not everyone is laughing though. Several dozen activists convened in front of NBC’s headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Center and demanded the network cancel Trump’s appearance. The activists circulated petitions and collected more than 500,000 signatures asking NBCUniversal to replace Trump with another guest host for Saturday’s show. Petitioners tweeted with the hashtag #racisimisntfunny and shared a letter to SNL’s Executive Producer Lorne Michaels and NBC’s President Steve Burke demanding a new host. Criticism from Latino advocacy groups and Hispanic politicians catalyzed the protest. The protestors were outraged that NBC invited Trump to host the show despite his comments describing Mexican immigrants as “rapists” who bring crime and drugs into the U.S. What is puzzling about NBC’s decision to feature real estate tycoon and politician is that Trump was fired from the network for his racist comments. Juan Escalante, rally organizer and director of digital campaigns for America’s Voice, told reporters that Trump’s rhetoric has ignited acts of violence against Latinos. He reminded NBC that allowing Trump to host the show will result in viewers boycotting the network’s programming. “[Latinos] do not want to see Trump’s racism or his anti-immigration message being satirized,” he told HuffPo. “There’s nothing funny about mass deportation. There’s nothing funny about separating families. There’s nothing funny about calling Mexicans ‘rapists’ and murderers.” “It’s a very poor show of judgment and it’s completely disrespectful to Latinos and viewers across the nation,” he added. Are the presses even worth stopping at this point when Donald Trump says something offensive? Probably not, but it's still worth noting when the leading Republican nominee for President managed to insult both women ( his specialty! ) and Muslims (his other specialty… along with immigrants) all at once. During an event in Atkinson, New Hampshire on Monday, October, 26, the real state mogul and former reality star spoke out in regard to unnamed Republican’s suggestion that we fight to free women from having to wear burqas. He response started as rambling… and then became insulting. “We want it where the women over there don’t have to wear [burqas]. And then I said, ‘Oh that makes sense.’ But then I saw women interviewed and they said, ‘We want to wear them. We’ve worn them for thousands of years. Why would anybody tell us not to?’” Trump said, addressing the crowd. “They want to! What the hell are we getting involved for?” Trump, who was recently endorsed by Mike Tyson , went on to say that Muslim females like to wear the religious garment because “it’s easy.” How so? “They don’t have to put on makeup,” he said. “Look how beautiful everyone looks. Wouldn’t it be easier? I’ll tell ya, if I was a woman [mimes putting on burqa with his hand] ‘I’m ready, darling, let’s go!’” Do we even need to explain this is offensive? No? Okay, good. Do we need to act like we're surprised Trump said it? We really shouldn't at this point, we suppose.

He’s a Republican, he’s a neurosurgeon, he’s also a very quiet and demure man. The latter has characteristic has left him open for criticism from, mainly from GOP frontrunner Donald Trump: “We have a breaking story. Donald Trump has fallen to second place behind Ben Carson. We informed Ben, but he was sleeping.” One thing that Ben Carson is not, is a stupid man. He knows if he wants to be the President of The United States, then he needs to look strong and ready to take on anything be it ISIS, Al Qaeda, or a toupee’d blow hard with racist tendencies. That said, he might have overcompensated a tad in his response to Trump: “I am soft-spoken. I do have a tendency to be relaxed. I wasn’t always like that. There was a time when I was, you know, very volatile. But, you know, I changed. “As a teenager, I would go after people with rocks, and bricks, and baseball bats, and hammers. And, of course, many people know the story when I was 14 and I tried to stab someone. And, you know, fortunately … my life has been changed. Miley Cyrus supported two important causes while wearing two unusual outfits this weekend. First, the artist rocked a revealing leotard while hitting the stage on Saturday for James Franco’s charitable Bar Mitzvah, an event that benefitted the Alzheimer’s Association. The singer also strutted around the Hollywood Palladium with a cape that read “Shalom, ya’ll,” along with a giant Star of David. “Miley Cyrustein and the Jewper HerozZZ,” Cyrus wrote on Instagram, showing off her unique attire. Then, on Sunday, Miley donned a pink bow with a colorful workout ensemble while attending the 2015 Annual L.A County Walk To Defeat ALS. It was held at Exposition Park. Along with many heart emojis, Cyrus shared the photo above on Instagram and wrote as a caption: “Team @mariwinsor !!!! walking for a cure!!!! @als.
