Don’t look now, but Azealia Banka is being a rude, aggressive, highly questonable troll! On second thought, go ahead and look. After all, if you looked away every time Azealia Banks decided to be awful, you’d never get anything done. Yes, Azealia has a long, long history of being the worst . But this latest little mess she found herself in? It’s pretty darn bad, even for her. It all started when Rihanna, like so many people this weekend, felt the need to speak out about Donald Trump’s executive order that many are referring to as the Muslim Ban. “Disgusted!” she tweeted. “The news is devastating! America is being ruined right before our eyes! What an immoral pig you have to be to implement such BS!!” So that’s all fine, obviously, and a sentiment that many, if not most, of us share . But Azealia disagreed. Of course. “No,” she wrote in response. “This is all stupid and wrong. Is she even American??? Can she even vote???” And she’s partially correct: Rihanna isn’t American, she’s from Barbados, so she can’t vote. She can, however, show compassion and some common human decency. Maybe that’s where Azealia is confused. But whatever the reason for Azealia’s issue with Rihanna, she continued her little rant over on Instagram. There, she wrote “As far as Rihanna (who isn’t a citizen and can’t vote) and all the rest of the celebrities who are using their influence to stir the public, you lot REALLY need to shut up and sit down.” “Stop chastising the president. It’s stupid and pathetic to watch. All of the confused people confuse other confused people.” She added “Hoping the president fails is like getting on an airplane and hoping the pilot crashes.” Oh, and for what it’s worth, Azealia believes “The ban on muslims is a precautionary measure.” Rihanna fired back with a photo of herself pouting her lips, writing in the caption “the face you make when you a immigrant.” She added the hashtags “stay away from the chickens,” “I heart nuggets,” and “save our hens,” referencing Azealia’s recent scandal in which she bragged about slaughtering chickens in her closet . You know that crazy Azealia wasn’t about to let that go — she reposted Rihanna’s caption and added this mess: “What Rihanna meant was … ‘I GREW UP PLAYING SOCCER IN A DIRT YARD WITH A COCONUT AND OPEN MY LEGS FOR ANY AND EVERY MOTHERF-CKER WHO I THINK I CAN GET TO WRITE ME SONGS OR BUY ME DRUGS.” “I CAN BARELY PERFORM BECAUSE I LINE MY BROWN BLUNTS WITH CRYSTAL METH AND AM OFTEN VERY WINDED ON STAGE.” At this point, Rihanna realized she was done dealing with Azealia’s brand of hateful insanity, so she shared this photo: She captioned it “The face you make when you screaming in an empty room.” Azealia is still going at it though. She even invited Rihanna over to her apartment for some homemade chicken nuggets! In closing, Rihanna is a queen, Azealia Banks is terrifying, and why is any of this happening? Donald Trump has been president for such a short time, but so many people are already over it. From his whiny little hissy fits over the crowd at his inauguration — or the lack of a crowd, we should say — to the decisions he's made to … it's all bad, OK? We could take the time to break down all the developments over the past week, or over the past couple of months since he won the election, but we don't have the heart. Instead, let's just check out some pitiful tweets from some unfortunate souls who actually voted for the guy. Yep, there's a lot of regret over on Twitter these days … 1. “A Small Minded Petulant Baby” May be time to work on your perception skills, bud. 2. “You’re Out of Control” … Because before he became president, he was the very picture of self control? 3. “Obama Had Me Covered” Next time, it might be a good idea to do a little research for the jackass you’re voting for, huh, Glenda? 4. “Dude …” Again, did these people simply never pay attention to Trump before voting for him? How could you miss this? 5. “I Voted for You to Make America Great Again!” Raise of hands, who actually thought that Trump would be a decent human being about this issue? 6. *Rage Tweet* Maybe ask around next time, Em. People would’ve told you. View Slideshow
A number of actors and actresses who accepted trophies tonight at the 2017 SAG Awards made a mention of Donald Trump’s latest executive order. You know the one; the one being referred to as a Muslim Ban across social media and, really, most of the free world. But while Simon Helberg didn’t personally take home any gold at the event in Los Angeles, he still made his opinion on Trump’s order as clear as possible. And he did so without saying a word: Check out the sign held on the red carpet above by Helberg and wife Jocelyn Towne. It has created quite the stir across Twitter, Instagram and the Internet at large. Helberg us carrying a small sign that read, “Refugees Welcome.” Meanwhile, Towne was seen with the words “LET THEM IN” written above her chest. The President has faced major backlash after issuing the controversial order. The ban has led to protests across the country, specifically in airports in which refugees were being detained, some of which were in possession of a legal green card. Here is what other stars have said about the Muslim Ban: View Slideshow: Donald Trump: Celebrities React to Muslim Ban And here is what Julia Louis-Dreyfus said upon winning Outstanding Female Actress in a Comedy Series: “Whether the Russians did or did not hack the voting of tonight’s SAG awards, I look out at the million or probably even a million and a half people in this room, and I say this award is legitimate and I won. I’m the winner, the winner is me — landslide! She then turned serious: I want you all to know, I am the daughter of an immigrant. My father fled Religious persecution in Nazi-occupied France. I’m an American patriot and I love this country, and because I love this country I am horrified by its blemishes. This immigrant ban is a blemish and it is un-American. What do you think of celebrities denouncing the Muslim Ban? And Trump in general? Are they helping their cause? Hurting their cause? Would you prefer to watch an awards show that is apolitical? Or do you understand why these stars feel a need to speak out? And how excited are you to see Trump’s response tomorrow on Twitter? Look, we’re certainly not glad that Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint back in October — it sounds like a truly terrifying ordeal, and one that we’d never wish on anyone. But in the aftermath of that incident, Kim has really changed. And we are really enjoying the woman she is these days. We’ve heard report after report claiming that her priorities have changed dramatically , that she’s not as concerned with wealth and status symbols after what happened. She’s more focused on her family than ever before, she’s not jetting off at every business opportunity. Kim has really chilled out a lot, and it’s been nice to see. Another thing that’s nice to see? How she completely and totally tore Donald Trump and his discriminatory, unfathomably terrible Muslim Ban with one single tweet: As you can see, Kim shared a handy little chart breaking down several different causes of death in Americans over the past ten years. According to this chart, there have only been two people killed by Islamic jihadist immigrants — the people Trump is supposedly trying to keep out of the country . Meanwhile, at least 11,737 people were shot by another American. In the caption of her chart, Kim simply wrote “Statistics.” Beautiful. Kim also shared a fundraising page for Syrian refugees that was created by Kal Penn after some random Twitter troll told him that he doesn’t “belong in this country you f-cking joke.” Would the old Kim have been so outspoken on such a controversial issue? It’s hard to say. But regardless, way to go, sister. As for the rest of the Kardashians and their stance on our president’s latest atrocity, Khloe tweeted “All of this in the news today breaks my heart.” Then last night, after a federal judge blocked Trump’s order, she retweeted a “Victory!!!!!!” tweet from the ACLU. Kourtney retweeted a few messages in support of refugees as well, but the rest of the family has been silent. Well, Kylie has been sharing nonstop bikini selfies, so she may be helping in the only way she knows how. Still, we’re so proud of Kim for standing against Trump, even while her husband calls him a friend and has continued to publicly support him. Keep up the greatness, girl! Donald Trump is officially a terrible person. Well, we've known he was terrible for a good long while now , but his latest move really just takes the whole terrible cake. In case you missed it, Trump just signed an executive order that many are referring to the “Muslim Ban.” The order prevents anyone from Syria, Libya, Iraq, Sudan, Yemen, and Somalia from entering the country. Refugees from these countries, people with visas, people with green cards who have families and careers in the U.S.? If they're abroad for any reason, they can't come back. Also worth noting: though the banning of refugees is temporary, in the future they will be given a “religious test” before entering the country. Christians will receive preference. Oh, and one more thing: Trump is fine with people from predominantly Muslim countries to which he has business ties. It's alarming, it's horrifying, and it obviously discriminatory. See how celebrities are reacting to Trump's order, which is now in effect. 1. Judd Apatow “He doesn’t understand that this will lead to people in America becoming radicalized as a result of his ignorance and cruelty.” 2. Sophia Bush “THESE are the HUMAN BEINGS Trump banned today. REFUGEES fleeing ISIS. Children. Their families. Shame on him. May God help us.” 3. Michael Moore “That the President of the United States would order on Holocaust Memorial Day the banning of a people due to their religion is reprehensible. To our Muslim neighbors in the world: I & tens of millions of others are so very sorry. The majority of Americans did not vote 4 this man.” 4. Jessica Chastain “WW2- USA Turned Away Thousands of Jewish Refugees Fearing That They Were Nazi Spies. TODAY- Trump signs order banning Syrian refugees.” 5. George Takei “The 9/11 attackers were from Saudi Arabia, Egypt & UAE–not the 7 nations in the immigration ban. These all do have Trump properties though.” 6. Andy Richter “What’s happening is repugnant. We’re supposed to be unique, a haven. We’re betraying our heroes.” View Slideshow
Cyndi Lauper offered some pointed words for Madonna on Watch What Happens last night. Appearing opposite Andy Cohen, the former pop star was asked about the Women's March in Washington last Saturday, specifically how Madonna told a throng of protestors that she had thought about blowing up the White House . The legendary artist later tried to clarify this remark , but it's not exactly the kind of thing one can walk back easily. And it's not the sort of thing Lauper liked to hear from her fellow singer. “I don’t think that it served our purpose,” Lauper told Cohen on the latter's Bravo talk show. “Anger is not better than clarity and humanity. That is what opens people’s minds.” Lauper, of course, wasn't against the Women's March overall. Far from it. She just preferred the way some other celebrities went about passing along their message of hope and inspiration. Like Scarlett Johansson, who spoke about her experience with Planned Parenthood. “It was clear, it was eloquent,” Lauper said. “Yelling just jacks people up. It doesn’t communicate any kind of humanity or story that would open another person’s mind.” Watch Lauper's full critique of Madonna below:
So this is a pitiful little story. But it’s a story about Jenelle Evans … was there really any chance that it wouldn’t be a pitiful story? To recap, Jenelle had a baby , little Ensley Jolie Eason, on Tuesday. Sweet, right? Good for her. But then Chelsea Houska, the best, most likable, most stable Teen Mom of them all, gave birth to her son , Watson Cole DeBoer, on Wednesday. Do you see where this is going yet? Poor Jenelle didn’t even get one full day where all the attention was on her, which must have really hurt. It must have hurt worse once you consider that having a baby is one of the only things that would inspire people to say anything nice about this girl — not many would rip her apart right at that moment. And fans were quick to point out this unfortunate turn of events. One of her followers pointed out to Jenelle that “She stole your thunder” — and it’s true. Chelsea stole that thunder, and she stole it hard . Another stated that “Chelsea is family goals & Jenelle is the family you want to forever avoid being.” Cold. But accurate. One person told Jenelle early yesterday that “Hahaha both pictures you posted don’t have as many likes as ONE of Chelsea’s pics. You’re probably so pissed.” So is it true? Is Jenelle actually upset that Chelsea had her baby so soon after she had hers? Would she really be so petty as to be upset over some dumb social media nonsense during such a special time in her life? According to Jenelle, she’s totally cool with Chelsea. “I really don’t understand why everyone would think we would be so mad at each other for having our babies born so close,” she tweeted last night. She added an “lmao,” so you know she’s real chill about it. She also said “I’m actually happy for her and glad she got the little boy she always wanted.” How nice! And how unexpected, too, considering that Jenelle has never really gotten along with Chelsea precisely because of jealousy. The two Teen Mom stars announced their pregnancy around the same time, and while everyone was so happy for Chelsea, people were concerned that Jenelle was having a third baby with a third man . Ol’ Bitter Bessie here tweeted “Funny someone else comes out with news they are pregnant and the world is overjoyed,” then deleted her Twitter account altogether . And then, a few months before that, Jenelle got upset because Chelsea dared to start her own website. Jenelle had created hers months before, see, and it was a very original idea that Chelsea obviously stole . “Monkey see monkey do…unreal,” she tweeted at the time. “So over this show.” It’s all pretty embarrassing, but we’re glad to see that this new baby may have knocked some delusions out of Jenelle’s head.
