He promised a few things: repealing Obamacare, banning muslims, building his wall and a few other radical right wing policies that would appeal to his base. Are you ready for one of the most revealing Keeping Up with the Kardashians episodes in the history of this hilariously scripted reality show? You better be. Because it’s on tap for this Sunday! First, as previously depicted, Kim Kardashian will open up about an important issue close to her heart: gun control. She’ll try to convince Kendall Jenner to join her cause, but the argument will fall on seemingly deaf and selfish ears . Also, as featured in THIS SNEAK PEEK, Kim will admit to Kourtney Kardashian that she’s open to the idea of surrogacy . Kim wants to have a third child, but doesn’t think her body can handle a third pregnancy. But the person who will shed the most tears next week will be Kris Jenner. Although it’s unclear exactly why. As seen in the clip below, Jenner will sit down and interview her mom, M.J., for some kind of legacy video on this Sunday’s brand new installment. The family matriarch and manager will ask her mother some basic questions, such as the age of her first kiss and the year she was born. Pretty basic stuff. But then Kris will ask M.J. about her biggest fear in life. “Biggest fear…I try not to fear,” M.J. replies. “What’s your biggest fear?” And when faced with the same question she just posed to her parent, Kris totally breaks down. “Why did you ask me that?” Jenner says, unable to hold back her emotion. “I can’t believe I’m crying…just losing someone.” In Jenner’s defense, she did lost her ex-husband Robert to cancer. He passed away in 2003. So we guess she has a reason to possess this fear. But why did it manifest itself suddenly in this interview? How was it possible that basically just hearing the word “fear” caused her to fall apart into an incoherent mess and cut the Q&A short? Who the heck knows. It’s almost as if producers came up with this idea and then offered it to Kris as an opportunity for her to show her soft and vulnerable side. As in… the new life that is now part of Kris Jenner’s world because son Rob Kardashian welcomed a child into the world on Thursday. Kris was actually present for the birth of granddaughter Dream Kardashian , saying it was one of the most beautiful moments of her life. We can only imagine. We make plenty of fun of Kris Jenner and other members of this family. Because they deserve said mockery. But it’s an amazing, blessed event to welcome a baby into the world. Perhaps this event can give Kris some comfort. Perhaps she can focus on gaining someone instead of losing someone. And perhaps the writers can come up with better material for her going forward… because this was just lame and contrived. We know they can do better. Robert Vaughn, the actor best known for his roles in the classic Western The Magnificent Seven and the 1960s NBC spy series The Man From U.N.C.L.E has passed away. Vaughn’s manager confirmed the news today in a press release: “Mr. Vaughn passed away with his family around him,” the statement read. Sources say Vaughn had recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. Though best known for his work on such beloved TV series as Gunsmoke , Father Knows Best , Wagon Train , The Rifleman and The Dick Van Dyke Show, Vaughn also racked up more than 200 film credits over the course of his more than 60-year career. Film fans will remember his roles in The Magnificent Seven , Bullitt and The Young Philadelphians, for which he was nominated for an Academy ward for Best Supporting Actor. Directing and casting agents knew that Vaughn was fully able to laugh at his image as an icon of cool, which led to winking, stunt-casting roles in such recent comedies as the Chris Rock-produced Pootie Tang and the Trey parker and Matt Stone vehicle BASEketball . He continued to work until the end of his life with roles on the UK series Hustle and Coronation Street . Born in New York City, Vaughn moved to the West Coast for college when he was in his teens. In the 1970s, he went back to school and earned a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. His dissertation, “Only Victims: A Study of Show Business Blacklisting,” was publsshed in 1972. Vaughn’s acclaimed memoir, A Fortunate Life, was published in 2009. Tributes to Vaughn from fans and colleagues have made his name a trending topic on social media in the hours since word of his death went public: ” Oh no. John Legend is a gift we simply do not deserve. He’s so classy, and so talented, and he’s got the most beautiful family in Chrissy Teigen and their baby, Luna . And now we’ve got another little thing to add to his great big pile of wondrousness: John Legend’s “Love Me Now” Music Video This is John’s music video for his song “Love Me Now,” and if it doesn’t make you cry, then maybe get your tear ducts examined. At the very least, hop on Google and figure out how to unthaw your cold, cold heart. The video features footage from the Domiz Refugee Camp in Northern Iraq, the Dominican Republic, Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota, and Orlando, particularly of couples and children. There’s also a few scenes showing John with Chrissy, and there’s also Luna in her music video debut. All those images are enough to cause a mental breakdown, but throw in John’s chorus: I don’t know who’s gonna kiss you when I’m gone So I’m gonna love you know, like it’s all I have I know it’ll kill me when it’s over I don’t wanna think about it, I want you to love me now And it’s enough to just break your heart to pieces. But while John is obviously an emotional guy, he says it was a lucky accident that such a touching video was released the same week we all really needed some uplifting . Here, check out his incredible message for yourself: It’s been quite a time for the United States and the rest of the world as we all watched the election results come in early Wednesday morning. Some of us wept for our country. Some of us celebrated. Some of us are already taking to the streets in protest. You all know how I wanted and expected the election to go. I wanted us to choose unity and inclusion over building walls and singling out ethnic and religious groups for hate and suspicion. I wanted us to choose progress over yearning for some long-lost mythical era when America was supposedly greatest. I wanted us to destroy the highest glass ceiling instead of electing an admitted sexual assaulter. But we did not. These are the election results and all of us will have to learn to deal with it. I will not give up though. I will continue to be aware and vigilant. I will continue to speak out for justice. We didn’t think about the election when we planned the release date for this song and video. But in this time of conflict and uncertainty, it’s clear that we all need more love. I find it in my family and in my music. Embracing my family has made today full of love and light despite the bad news. But it’s also important that we show love and empathy to people who may not look like us or live like us. Those who are marginalized and rejected, feared and left behind. The video premieres Friday and features a diverse group of people from all over the world. From Standing Rock to Iraq, from Orlando to the DR. Love is universal. We all can give it. In the wake of news that Donald Trump had been elected President of the United States , thousands of Americans in cities as far-flung as Atlanta and Seattle assembled to engage in peaceful protest of a man whose campaign alienated Americans from all walks of life, including the leaders of the party that nominated him. Yesterday, Trump met with Barack Obama at the White House and afterward, he spoke highly of the President and his family, and refrained from making inflammatory comments about the protests. It seemed, momentarily, that we were seeing the beginnings of the “presidential” Trump that he had so often promised voters during his scorched-earth campaign. Then he went home and logged into Twitter: “Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protesters, incited by the media, are protesting. Very unfair!” Trump tweeted. “Love the fact that the small groups of protesters last night have passion for our great country,” he later added. More subdued than much of what he’s posted on social media in recent months, to be sure, but the attacks on the media and the outright lies that Trump was so often criticized for during his campaign are still present in these tweets. It’s nice to see Trump showing his conciliatory side by paying lip-service to his “love” of the public outcry against him, but in the next breath he attempts to dismiss the movement by erroneously characterizing the demonstrators as small groups of “professional” protesters. Massive turnouts have already been reported in New York City, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Atlanta with many more cities expected to follow suit in the coming days. Whether it’s justified or not, the anti-Trump outrage is real, and the President-elect will need to address it in a real way if he hopes to bring the nation together, as he claims is his intention. Writing for The New Yorker back in May, Adam Gopnik described the “the three-part process by which the gross becomes the taken for granted” in his coverage of the ascent of Donald Trump . The piece reminded Americans of how Trump was initially laughed off as a candidate, then accepted with a resigned plea for a return to normalcy once all this was over, then embraced by just enough Americans to elect him president as a repudiation of the same system that made Donald Trump a household name. Unfortunately, one of the early casualties of Trump’s election is America’s hard-earned reputation on the national stage, which is even now in a state of rapid decline more than two months before Trump’s inauguration. From Syria to Switzerland, out foreign enemies and allies are watching the dawn of Donald Trump’s America with great interest. Some see an opportunity; others see a human rights crisis in the making. In both cases, most didn’t witness firsthand the glacial pace of Trump’s 17-month conquest, as Americans did. At home and abroad, many are unaware that Trump lost the popular vote and won the White House as a result of the electoral college, an institution that Trump himself has described as a “disaster for democracy.” If the protests accomplish nothing other than sending a message to the world that Trump’s election was intensely contested and that tens of millions of Americans share their concerns for the future of western democracy and the fates of our most vulnerable citizens, than it will all have been worthwhile. Perhaps some who are chanting and waving signs in town squares across America today are hoping to overturn the results of the 2016 election. Those hopes are ill-founded, and a Trump presidency is all but a certainty at this point. But to deny these people their right to gather in solidarity in order to publicly and loudly express their concerns and their outrage is to deny a voice to the powerless and attempt to suppress the spirit of the revolution that endowed Americans with the rights we hold do dear.
