Donald Trump’s much-touted Obama “bombshell” announcement really wasn’t much of one … although he did make an intriguing offer to the President. The Donald claimed credit for getting the President to release his birth certificate last year, then called on him to be fully transparent with the public. Donald Trump Obama Announcement, Offer If Obama releases his college transcripts, passport applications and other records by October 31, Trump will cut a $5 million check to his charity of choice. That’s it. As PR stunts go, not his best work. As many predicted, Trump focused on Obama’s perceived lack of transparency, though he sort of misled us into thinking he actually had some new info on the guy. Donald Driver Wins Dancing With the Stars!

One point separated first-place Katherine Jenkins from William Levy and Donald Driver at the end of Monday’s Dancing With the Stars performances . Each finalist earned another 30 from one more routine on Tuesday’s finale, but the votes were in, and that Mirror Ball already had one name on it. That name was Donald Driver. The Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver was named the winner of the 14th season, making pro Peta Murgatroyd a first-time champion. “Amazing! This is awesome!” Donald said when asked how he felt. His competitors, not surprisingly, took their defeat in stride, and with class. William and Cheryl Burke finished in third place. “It was an amazing experience,” said the Cuban actor. “I thank you guys for all you have done for us.” “I’m going to miss all of you guys, I love you!” Jenkins and Mark Ballas were the runners-up. Donald Driver & Peta Murgatroyd – Freestyle (DWTS Week 10) “Thank you so much, Mark, you’ve been… I can’t put into words how much I’ve loved this,” the ever-gracious Katherine Jenkins said in defeat. “And thank you to everybody who’s had me on the show. It’s been an absolute dream, thank you.” “Congratulations, my man,” Mark Ballas said. Driver’s win makes eight for men in 14 seasons. Donald is also the third NFL pro to win after Emmitt Smith and Hines Ward, last season’s champ. What do you think? Did Donald deserve it?

Penn Jillette Fired on Celebrity Apprentice

Aubrey O’Day stole the show and Penn Jillette got the chop on Celebrity Apprentice last night, but at least various charities were the big winners all around. This week, the teams had to design an in-store display for The Donald’s new fragrance, named (obvi) “Success by Trump.” Yes. The Donald has a fragrance. Clay Aiken was project manager for Team Forte, and Aubrey for Team Unanimous. Aubrey and Arsenio Hall used the start of this task as a chance to bond. O’Day hopped on Arsenio to take pictures of New York’s skyline for their display. The mood shifted when Aubrey sent her team on mundane tasks, leaving her with total control, then called on Eric Trump to be a part of Unanimous’ display. In playing a young Donald Trump, Eric seemed flattered to have his modeling debut (hey, better than those hunting photos ) but he questioned Aubrey’s motives. She came through, though. Team Unanimous won the task, earning Aubrey a total of $50,000 for GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. Clay brought Penn and Dayana Mendoza back to the boardroom, where Penn’s slogan – “you earned it” – earned him a ticket on the next flight home. Did Donald make the right decision? Can Aubrey be stopped?

Donald Driver to William Levy: It’s ON Now!

He’s sexy. He’s a Cuban soap star. He’s got the moves. And he’s shirtless. With all those things going for him, it’s a miracle anyone on Dancing With the Stars even shows up to compete against William Levy. But Green Bay Packers star Donald Driver isn’t about to hand over the Mirror Ball trophy just yet. In fact, he might give William a run for his money in an “ab-off.” William Levy’s sexy, abs-baring salsa routine with partner Cheryl Burke on Monday’s DWTS episode was a sign that the showdown is on, Driver says. “William knows the ladies love us, but they love him a little bit more because he took his clothes off,” Driver told People . “I haven’t taken my clothes off yet.” I’m going to pace myself and talk to the wife; if the wife agrees then I’ll take it off.” Disney star Roshon Fegan, 20, agrees, saying Levy’s display “makes it personal … I’ve got my eye on William and whatever his secrets are – working out in the gym, super-duper protein shakes – I’m gonna get me some muscles.” A worthy goal, but for now, it’s Donald vs. William in this hunk-a-thon. Celebrity Apprentice: Debbie Gibson, Dee Snider Fired

Proving just how little NBC has worth watching these days, Donald Trump and Celebrity Apprentice were given a three-hour episode last night. Three . Sad as that is, with over $1 million at stake for charity, the stakes were raised, things in the boardroom got quite heated and two people got the axe. Debbie Gibson was the first of two casualties, taking the fall after the episode’s initial task – to create and sell a “My New York” celebrity guidebook. In the boardroom, the losing women brought out their manicured claws, and while Aubrey O’Day seemed like the obvious choice to get the boot, she was safe. Thus, Debbie Gibson was fired. Just when it seemed that things were about to simmer down, Trump pulled a fast one teamed up Teresa, Aubrey, Arsenio, Clay Aiken and Paul Teutul, Sr. Up against them? Lou Ferrigno, Lisa, Dayana, Dee, and Penn Jillette. Arsenio and Lou took charge as project managers for the night’s second challenge. In the end, Arsenio’s team won the challenge, bringing the former late night host to tears. He scored some major cash for the Magic Johnson Foundation. Lou brought Dayana Mendoza and Dee Snider with him to the Boardroom. Donald had a tough decision to make, but he ultimately decided to ax Dee. Sad to see Dee and Debbie go? Donald Trump Accuses Jon Stewart of "Racist Rant" Against Herman Cain

Jon Stewart is facing Donald Trump’s wrath (been too long since we heard from him on political matters) after making what the latter calls a “racist rant” about Herman Cain. Specifically, Trump took issue with the comedian’s commentary on the GOP presidential candidate’s confusing denial of sexual harassment charges during the 1990s. Stewart likened Cain’s answer to being asked “Have you ever kidnapped a baby?” only to respond, “No. Well, other than the Lindbergh baby.” Funny? Not to Trump … Donald Trump Goes Off on Jon Stewart Trump was upset about Stewart’s imitation of Herman Cain, saying, “It’s not what he said, but the way he said. The tone of his voice, the inflection. Unbelievable.” He called out officials saying they’re letting Stewart “get away” with it. “Other people get taken off the air, and when he [Stewart] says it, people smile and sort of say, ‘Wow, I can’t believe he gets away with that,'” Trump explained. Trump said others are lambasted for non-political correctness, but never Stewart, even if he does “a horrible, horrible thing to the African-American community.” Jon Stewart Goes Off on Herman Cain Whether or not this constitutes “horrible” is a matter of opinion, clearly. But maybe Don should look back at a certain pot-stirring crusade he waged not long ago. On the flip side, Stewart does go after certain people harder than others, and with a very different style. If that’s the Donald’s point, it’s not totally off base. Jon’s primary target seems to be media coverage of Cain, not the Republican candidate himself, though.
