Jenelle Evans allegedly broke her thumb at some point last night or this morning, sparking the obligatory Twitter debate regarding how this occurred. The troubled Teen Mom 2 star was radio silent on social media Thursday night, which apparently sparked a firestorm of speculation about her whereabouts. According to Jenelle Evans , she fell asleep at 5 (p.m.) then “woke up with a broken thumb” … which she say was an “accident” but offered few details on. Her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, “said I fell off the bed earlier lol I don’t remember.” Naturally, her Twitter followers were quick to assume this was BS. “Thumb looks real broken,” one person wrote, re: her latest pics. Not that you can blame people for at least being skepitcal. Jenelle recently spent 48 hours in jail after failing a random drug test in court on the same day she agreed to a plea bargain on drug and assault charges. She can’t stop smoking weed , people. She can’t. However it happened, she seems to have bounced back from the injured thumb, showing off pics of her morning hair with no sign of a cast on either hand. Free to go about her busy day of spending time with Jace … not.
Lamar Odom is free on bail after his arrest early Friday, but has lost his driver’s license for a year after he refused tests to determine his alleged intoxication. Lamar Odom DUI Arrest Officers arrested Lamar Odom for suspicion of driving under the influence this morning. He was “unable to complete” a field sobriety test, police say. At the police station, he refused any additional additional tests. Drivers suspected of DUI are required to take a chemical test once they’re in police custody. If they refuse, they lose their driving privileges for a year. By obtaining a California driver’s license, a driver consent to having his or her breath, blood or urine tested if they are arrested on suspicion of DUI. A driver does not have a right to consult a lawyer beforehand. “If you refuse to submit to any of the tests, your driving privilege may be suspended because of your refusal,” according to the state DMV handbook. According to E! News, this has already happened to Lamar. The 33-year-old NBA star was released after posting $15,000 bond and spending about three and a half hours in jail. He is due in court September 27. Officials said Odom was driving a white Mercedes sports utility vehicle eastbound on the 101 Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard just before 4 a.m. He was traveling at 50 m.p.h., well below freeway speeds, and in a “serpentine manner.” He drove by three more exits before finally pulling over. He showed “obvious” signs of being under the influence of either drugs or alcohol – cops reportedly suspect both – and failed a field sobriety test. A search of his vehicle revealed no drugs or alcohol. At the Van Nuys jail, Lamar Odom refused all chemical tests and was booked without incident. He was booked into custody at 5:01 a.m. and released at 8:33 a.m. His agent, Jeff Schwartz, could not be reached for comment. Nor could wife Khloe Kardashian , with whom he has been on the outs. His agent told ESPN that the basketball player was “not missing” earlier this week amid reports that he is hooked on crack cocaine and off the grid. Kardashian is said to be fighting hard to get Lamar into rehab to kick his habit, but this would appear to be another huge setback for the couple. His whereabouts after leaving jail are unknown at this time. Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian: Will it last? Yes. With love and hard work, they will find a way. No. The damage has been done and is too great. View Poll »
She’s not quite the “Epic Uppercut Bus Driver” , but this lady don’t take no isht! Brawl Between Detroit Bus Driver And Passenger Caught On Camera Via NYDailyNews A video shows a shocking bus brawl that erupts after a passenger’s ticket gets stuck in the machine. Passengers on the DDOT bus at Greenfield and McNichols roads in northwest Detroit earlier this month witnessed a fight lasting several minutes that broke out after the unnamed woman lost her temper while trying to validate her transfer card to another bus route. The woman, who wore a brown coat, starts to argue with the driver and demands her ticket back before spitting at her. The driver, dressed in a white shirt and clearly upset, then gets up from her seat and lunges at the passenger. Footage shows an astonishing battle in which the driver hits the passenger around the head, using her keys as a weapon, while the passenger pulls the driver’s hair and hits her with her handbag. They use several different boxing, wrestling and martial arts moves as they punch, kick and grab each other. One passenger, Christopher Jackson, did try to break up the fight but couldn’t. Other passengers reportedly egged the pair on. Eventually, the driver managed to pin down the passenger, who was then forced off the bus. This description really doesn’t do the stand-off any justice, press play on the video below to see the real. Cotdamn! Image via FOX2
A bus driver in Florida’s Broward County School District incurred the wrath of parents after dropping seven children off Monday … in the wrong city. The students, ages 10-13, were supposed to be dropped off close to their homes, minutes away from Forest Glen Middle School in Coral Springs. School Bus Leaves Students in Wrong City Instead, they were dropped off at a gas station in Pompano Beach – several cities and at least 20 minutes east – on their first day of school. The students realized something was amiss, but to no avail. They reportedly told the bus driver that he was going the wrong way, but he did not stop. Student Samantha Cisneros attempted to put her dad on the phone with him, but the driver said he could not talk while driving, according to NBC 6. Parents aren’t pleased that the bus driver dropped the students so far away from their homes, though his motivations for doing so are unclear. “I’m totally frustrated, mad, angry. I just can’t believe a person would just drop a child off in the street to just fend for yourself,” Wilson Cisneros told NBC. The school district has been made aware of the incident, and a spokesperson said Monday night that an investigation would be taking place. A day later, Broward County Public Schools spokesperson Tracy Clark released a statement explaining the results of an investigation into the incident. According to the statement, the district transportation department found the bus did take its scheduled route, although students did not get off at their stop. The driver said he would take them back to the right stop after completing the route, but they got off in Pompano Beach with other students who live there. So basically, that makes pretty much no sense considering what the students themselves told their parents, and no one has any idea what to believe.
It’s not easy being a bus driver. Sometimes you’ve gotta deal with one teenager beating the living crap out of another . Other times, you’ve really gotta give yourself a pedicure. At least one bus driver in Singapore had to, that is, as footage of the unnamed man clipping his own nails behind the wheel went viral late last month. After looking into the incident, the bus company fired this employee on August 15, mostly for endangering his passengers… but partly for being an idiot, we’d have to imagine. Didn’t he know surveillance cameras were fixated on his every move?!? Singapore Bus Driver Fired for Nail Clipping Bus Driver Clips Nails on Bus

This tugs at the heartstrings . Newlywed Teachers Die In Car Crash According to Mail Online Two young teachers married for just three months have died after a driver taking them to the airport after a wedding lost control of the vehicle, sending them crashing into a tree. In a further tragic twist, the newlywed wife, Jamie Soukup Reid, 25, was pregnant with the couple’s first child. Ultrasounds were recovered from her purse. She died instantly when the driver of their hired town car, 45-year-old Rodney Koon, lost control of the vehicle in Asheville, North Carolina on Sunday. Her husband, 26-year-old Will Reid, was still conscious when paramedics arrived and he urged them to help his pregnant wife first. He also died from his injuries. Speaking to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Jamie’s father Ron Soukup, a retired engineer for Microsoft Corp., shared his heartbreak at losing the young couple, who were both teachers in Philadelphia. ‘We lost our two kids and our first grandchild,’ he said. ‘She had the ultrasound pictures in her purse. He added: ‘We loved Will like he was our son. He was a wonderful guy.’ They visited Asheville at the weekend to attend a wedding of one of Mr Reid’s college friends. They were in the back of a town car heading east on Interstate 26 on Sunday morning when Koon lost control at 11.11am. The vehicle hurtled down an embankment and struck a tree, police said. Jamie was pronounced dead at the scene while her husband died of his injuries at Mission Hospital. Rodney Koon remains hospitalized after the crash and could face charges. An investigation is continuing and police have not said what caused Koon to crash. But in search warrant applications filed on Tuesday, police investigators said Koon’s ‘actions directly contributed to the collision,’ the Asheville Citizen-Times reported. The warrants allowed officers to search the vehicle and a digital recording device in the car’s electrical system was seized. It could reveal speed and other operational details before the crash. ‘She was fantastic with the written word,’ her father said. Will Reid’s father, James Reid, an orthopedic surgeon in Phillipsburg, said that the young couple were a perfect match for each other. ‘He was very talkative and had a dry wit,’ Reid said. ‘He was very funny. She was just beautiful and nice and happy. She was very caring. They were very much caring for each other.’ A memorial service will be held for the couple on August 17 at noon in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. They had their whole lives ahead of them. Sad. Facebook
This guy is beyond finished … Conductor In Madrid Train Crash Was Found To Be Talking On The Phone Prior To Accident Via HuffingtonPost The driver of the train that derailed and killed 79 people in Spain was on the phone and traveling at 95 mph (153 kph) – almost twice the speed limit – when the crash happened last week, according to a preliminary investigation released Tuesday. The train had been going as fast as 119 mph (192 kph) shortly before the derailment, and the driver activated the brakes “seconds before the crash,” according to a written statement from the court in Santiago de Compostela, whose investigators gleaned the information from two “black box” data recorders recovered from the train. The speed limit on the section of track was 50 mph (80 kph). The crash occurred near Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain, and was the country’s worst rail accident in decades. Some 66 people are still hospitalized for injuries, 15 of whom are in critical condition. The driver, Francisco Jose Garzon Amo, was talking on the phone to an official of national rail company Renfe when the crash happened and apparently was consulting a paper document at the time, the statement said. Garzon was provisionally charged Sunday with multiple counts of negligent homicide. The driver received a call on his work phone in the cabin, not his personal cellphone, to tell him what approach to take toward his final destination. The Renfe employee on the telephone “appears to be a controller,” the statement said. “From the contents of the conversation and from the background noise it seems that the driver (was) consulting a plan or similar paper document,” the statement said. Nevermind a jail cell, they might fry this bastard! Image via YouTube Continue reading →
Man Throws Bleach On Cab Driver To Avoid Paying Fare An Illinois man is currently behing held behind bars on $125,000 bail after doing what had to have been the dumbest thing he’s ever done in life to date. via Huffington Post A Chicago-area man was arrested Friday after he allegedly threw bleach on a cab driver and refused to pay his $175 fare. Oliver Dickens, 18, of Carpentersville, Ill., reportedly hired the cab driver in suburban Elgin to drive him to Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood and gave his ID to the driver as collateral, the Chicago Tribune reports. When the driver arrived at Dickens’ destination, Dickens was reportedly upset about the trip’s $175 cost and threw bleach in the driver’s face before stealing the driver’s tablet and fleeing the scene. The driver sustained minor injuries but was not hospitalized. The Chicago Sun-Times reports Dickens was charged with aggravated battery, criminal damage to property and theft of labor. He was ordered held in lieu of $125,000 bail on Saturday. Really?? ALL of that just because you couldn’t pay the cab fare? They might need to leave this fool right where he’s sitting for a little while so he can re-evaluate somethings and get his mind right, because clearly it’s far from that point at present. SMH. video platform video management video solutions video player At least 71 undocumented immigrants crowded into the back of a U-Haul truck survived a wild ride Wednesday through a Brooks County ranch, thanks to a law enforcement officer’s instincts. Brooks County deputy Mo Saavedra said when the smuggler saw his sheriff’s vehicle, he tore through a fence line along FM 285 about 15 miles west of Falfurrias. “When the U-Haul was going through the field, they lifted up the back hatch and people started jumping out,” Saavedra said. “There was too many of them. Not all of them got out.” But Saavedra said when it was over, at least 10 others, probably including the smuggler, escaped into the brush, prompting an air and ground search by U.S. Border Patrol. All were taken into federal custody. Saavedra said he first saw a white Expedition parked by the side of the road with the flashers on. The veteran deputy said the driver probably was the spotter, alerting the group that was out of sight to quickly board the U-Haul. Saavedra said when they saw him, the U-Haul turned around. “That’s what caught my eye, when they turned around in the middle of the road. They stopped traffic and they almost got hit by traffic,” Saavedra said. That’s when the smuggler took off through the field, but with Saavedra in pursuit. When it ended, Saavedra said a woman who had been packed in the back of the truck, had been overcome by the lack of ventilation. “She was totally dehydrated and exhausted,” he said. http://www.ksat.com/
