Sounds like this guy was on something a little stronger than Molly Via WAAY School officials say a man who stripped off his clothes in front of Austin High School Monday afternoon claimed to be “high on Jesus.” Ronald Ray Fletcher, 27, is charged with indecent exposure. According to police, Fletcher went into the school and tried to check out a student and was told he wasn’t allowed. He then left the building, drove his car onto the grass in front of the school and removed his clothes. Officials said he waved at students in classrooms from outside. School officials said Fletcher also urinated on a car and asked for the same student he had tried to check out earlier before the school resource officer took him into custody. Principal Don Snow told the Decatur Daily he asked Fletcher if he was high, and Fletcher responded with “I’m high on Jesus.” School officials said Fletcher showed no signs of aggression, and police did not find any weapons in his vehicle. Morgan County mental health workers are working to determine if Fletcher was receiving any kind of treatment. If by “Jesus” he means a flaky, crystal-like substance that can be melted down on a spoon and drawn into a syringe, then sure. That’s EXACTLY what he’s high off of…SMH
An anti-drug Republican lawmaker has been charged with drug possession in upstate New York. Anti-Drug Lawmaker Arrested And Charged With Drug Possession Via WLWT reports: Assemblyman Steve Katz was charged after a Thursday morning traffic stop, according to a report by the Albany Times Union. Police said the 59-year-old Katz was driving 80 mph on a toll road near Coeymans, N.Y. State troopers said they smelled marijuana and found a small bag of the drug. Katz serves on the Assembly’s Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Committee and its Higher Education Committee. The Times Union reported that Katz voted against a bill that would have legalized medical marijuana last year. Katz ran unsuccessfully for state Senate last year. SMH!! We broke the story … the 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. Tuesday night after suffering multiple seizures. He was released Wednesday but just hours later one of his bodyguards found him in his room, on the floor and unconscious. Wayne was rushed to the hospital again, but this time he did not stabilize. He was taken to ICU, where he was placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably. We’re told Wayne is currently “unstable,” and has been placed in an induced coma. He is breathing through tubes. We’re told several people are at Wayne’s bedside crying, and a number of rap artists and family members are on the way. Sources say the scene is violent as Wayne shakes uncontrollably. Sources say there’s evidence Wayne went on a Sizzurp binge after being released Wednesday, because doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system. We’re told Wanye’s stomach was pumped 3 times to flush the drugs from his system. Our prayers are with Wayne and his friend, family, and fans. He’s not out of the woods yet… Mendeecees Harris Faces 20 Years For Drug Charges Via Democrat & Chronicle Mendeecees Harris, 33, pleaded not guilty in federal court in Rochester Friday to a drug conspiracy charge. Harris has a key role in the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop. Because of a 2001 drug conviction in Maryland, Harris faces a 20-year mandatory sentence if convicted here. Harris is one of three New York City men accused of roles in a pipeline of heroin and cocaine to the Rochester region. The other two — Ronald Walker, and Harris’ brother, Tyrus Harris — were arrested last year and are jailed awaiting trial. Prosecutors allege the three trafficked more than $2.5 million in drugs between 2005 and August 2012. Walker and Tyrus Harris also have pleaded not guilty. At Friday’s hearing before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jonathan Feldman, Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank Sherman said he would request that Harris remain jailed without bail. Damn, that might mean a lot of cold nights in Yandy’s bed if Mr. Sherman has his way. The criminal indictment does show that police in August seized more than $1.5 million in cash from safety deposit boxes and homes linked to the alleged conspiracy. Also seized were a 2012 Land Rover and more than $406,000 in jewelry. Authorities are also pushing for the forfeiture of properties in Georgia and Baltimore. Despite the above, the company’s decision to pay Chris Brown an alleged whooping $1 million to be part of the official unveiling of the ‘Hope City Project’ which the latter failed to attend and also stage a mega concert in Accra have been enormously criticized. Many of the decision’s critics have over the few weeks leading to yester night’s concert questioned the corresponding benefits rlg as a brand would derive in giving out such a huge money to Chris Brown. We’ve heard the guys from rlg mention that Chris Brown would promote their brand via appearing at the sod cutting ceremony and also staging the concert. $1 million may not be huge to Chris Brown and he would probably use it to dye his hair but to a young Africa company established in a poor third world country which sometimes goes to seek an equivalent amount in foreign aid, it surely matters. Nose candy ! Elementary School Kids Caught Smoking Powdered Candy Via HuffPo reports: This isn’t what a “sugar high” was supposed to mean. Fourth- and fifth-grade students in South Carolina were caught smoking and inhaling crushed Smarties and Fun Dip candies, said Glenn Wile, Fountain Inn Elementary School principal. FOX Carolina reported that faculty members discovered at least 31 kids, boys and girls — sucking in the candies — “creating a puff of smoke.” The school responded to the ongoing problem by sending a letter to parents, making them aware of the situation’s “inappropriateness” and banning any candy that can be powdered. Drugs and candy have had a tumultuous relationship in elementary and high schools. In 2011, “Pothead Ring Pots” and “Pothead Lollipops” — candies shaped like marijuana — had public officials, parents and anti-drug activists up in arms when they began appearing on store shelves. On the more serious side, last year, a 29-year-old man allegedly sold drug-laced sweets to children. Police believe the man put tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) — a substance present in marijuana — in root beer-flavored treats. The days of candy cigarettes seem so much simpler compared to this! British Grandmother Sentenced To The Death Penalty For Smuggling Drugs Into Bali Via Huffington Post An Indonesian court sentenced a British grandmother to death on Tuesday for smuggling yayo worth $2.5 million in her suitcase onto the resort island of Bali – even though prosecutors had sought only a 15-year sentence. Lindsay June Sandiford, 56, wept when judges handed down the sentence and declined to speak to reporters on her way back to prison, covering her face with a floral scarf. She had claimed in court that she was forced to take the drugs into the country by a gang that was threatening to hurt her children. Indonesia, like many Asian countries, is very strict on drug crimes, and most of the more than 40 foreigners on its death row were convicted of drug charges. Sandiford’s lawyer said she would appeal, a process that can take several years. Condemned criminals face a firing squad in Indonesia, which has not carried out an execution since 2008, when 10 people were put to death. A verdict is expected in the trial of Sandiford’s alleged accomplice, Briton Julian Anthony Pounder, next Tuesday. He is accused of receiving the drugs in Bali, which has a busy bar and nightclub scene where party drugs such as yayo and Ex pills are bought and sold between foreigners. Two other British citizens and an Indian have already been convicted and sentenced to prison in connection with the bust. The folks in Bali are definitely part of the “Not-Fawkin’-Around-Crew”. In its verdict, a panel of Denpasar District Court judges concluded that Sandiford had damaged the image of Bali as a tourism destination and weakened the government’s drug prevention program. “We found no reason to lighten her sentence,” said Amser Simanjuntak, who headed the judicial panel.
