Derick Dillard Comes Clean: We’re Breaking All of Jim Bob’s Rules!

We’ve known for some time now that Derick Dillard is not Jim Bob Duggar’s favorite son-in-law. In fact, it’s been said that Jim Bob flat-out doesn’t like Derick — and frankly, it’s not hard to see why. After all, other than Josh, no one in the Duggar clan has done more to compromise the family business than Derick. The clearest evidence of Derick’s ineptitude is the fact that he got fired from Counting On  and convinced his wife, Jill Duggar, to quit the show as a gesture of solidarity. But leaving his family without a source of income was just the first in a long line of eff-ups for Derick. From there, Derick’s bigoted social media tirades continued unabated, as he attacked other TLC stars such as Jazz Jennings ad Nate Berkus in the sort or ignorant tirades for which he’s become famous. Jim Bob and company probably didn’t object to the belief system behind Derick’s unhinged rants, but the Duggars likely took issue with the public nature of his hate speech. After all, not unlike the evangelical church that seems to have served as his business model, JB built an empire that’s based on strict adherence to a set of mostly arbitrary rules. These days, Jim Bob’s offspring — particularly his daughters — are flouting his guidelines left and right, and the patriarch reportedly blames the men they married. Jinger Duggar began wearing pants in defiance of the family dress code after she was granted permission by her husband, Jeremy Vuolo. And now, Jill Duggar is allowing her kids to enjoy secular entertainment — a massive no-no in the Duggars’ world. And not surprisingly, it seems the Duggars believe Derick is squarely to blame. And it seems D-Dill may have just confirmed their suspicions on social media. Earlier this week, a fan asked Derick, “Why don’t you guys get a TV?” “How do you know we don’t have one?” Derick replied. If you’re a longtime Counting On fan, then you’re probably already aware that the Duggars grew up in a house without television. In recent months, Jill and Derick have taken flak for allowing their children access to such popular children’s characters as Peppa the Pig. That may seem like just about the most innocent thing imaginable, but the Duggars are of the belief that all children’s entertainment that all children’s entertainment should have to do with fire and brimstone. Jessa Duggar Celebrates Birthday By Baiting Mom-Shamers

In the eyes of many of her Instagram followers, Jessa Duggar can do no right.  Jessa gets mom-shamed pretty much every time she posts anything about her family, but to her credit, it seems she’s not letting it get her down. Despite the heckling hordes, Jessa continues to post as often as ever, even when she seems fully aware that her content is likely to outrage the haters. Jessa celebrated her 26th birthday yesterday, and it seems she went all out … by Duggar standards, of course. Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, attended a small, sober gathering of family and friends, and afterward, she posted some pics of her sons on the ride home. That may not seem like a very big deal, but we can’t overstate the extent to which trolls scrutinize every pic of Jessa’s kids in search of reasons to get angry. The above photo shows Jessa’s 3-year-old son Spurgeon amusing himself with some power windows. “He loves to operate the windows,” Jessa wrote. This pic shows 1-year-old Henry looking like he knocked back a few too many juice boxes. “Partied out,” Jessa captioned the pic. Again, this may not seem like a big deal, but given the uproar surrounding past claims of Jessa endangering her kids’ lives , we think it’s safe to say she knew what she was doing by posting pics of them in the car, safely buckled in. Jessa also posted this pic, captioned, “Checking the sports stats.” This one may be a subtle way of addressing two separate controversies: For one thing, fans have been critical of Jessa’s homeschooling practices. Basically, they don’t think she does any homeschooling at all. On top of that, much has been said about the younger generation of Duggars allowing their children to enjoy secular forms of entertainment, a big no-no in Jim Bob and Michelle’s book. So unless these two are reading Bible verses on that tablet, Jessa just basically confirmed that she’s joined the rebellion against Jim Bob. Jill Duggar: I Love Derick Dillard More Than I Love Our Kids!

So Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard … Things have been pretty weird for them lately, huh? Well, they’ve been weird for years, but that’s just how things go in Duggar relationships. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that things have been different. It all started several months ago when rumors began swirling that Derick was cheating on Jill . The rumors started with anonymous claims about his unfaithfulness, then when Duggar fans and haters began to notice, that’s when things really started heating up. And Jill and Derick haven’t done too much to fight those rumors — quite the opposite, actually. A couple of months ago, Jill shared a photo of her bible, and everyone quickly noticed that she had an entire passage about adultery highlighted . In the caption of that photo, she wrote that she was praying for Derick, which … not a great sign. Last month, she shared another photo of more reading material — this time, she had a book about boundaries and creating them with toxic people in your life . Interesting, right? But now, in a brand new post, she’s changing her tune a bit. And it sure is nauseating. Along with the photo, she wrote a sickeningly sweet caption that she kicked off with a “man of my dreams” hashtag. (Sad dreams, Jill, but OK.) She then thanked him “for being my man and my best friend!” “Love you!” she continued. “When I count my blessings, you’re at the top of my list!” “So grateful to God for you!” She wrapped things up with some kiss emojis and a “so in love” hashtag. For one, it’s kind of strange that she straight up said that Derick is her number one blessing, huh? Like, “sorry, Israel and Samuel, Mommy loves Daddy more than you.” For two, pretty much no one was here for this silliness. “In what universe does a girl/young woman ‘dream’ of marrying a lazy, bigoted, chronically unemployed grifter who drifts from job to job and resorts to GoFundMe scams to support her and her kids ?” one of her followers asked. Another person said that instead of being the man of her dreams, Derick is more likely “a man of your nightmares!” “I am not really sure what you see in that man,” yet another doubtful fan wrote. “He is soo full of himself!! The god I believe in would not hate or chastize a person for being gay or transgender .” Other people pointed out that everything Jill said is really the kind of thing that would be much more meaningful if she actually said it to Derick instead of posting about it on social media. Still others insisted that she’s just trying to talk him up because everyone hates him . One of those people said that “Jill has to make him ‘look good,’ it’s a way of being in denial to herself that she is with the wrong person.” “But she has no choice bc of her family and their values of marrying strangers and arranged at that.” But whatever her motivations were for posting this, or however mistaken she may be, Derick is still into it. “Aw, I’m blessed beyond measure by you babe, and I’ll love you forever,” he responded to Jill on Twitter. “Thanks for being the best wife and mom to our boys! Ariana Grande to Pete Davidson: Leave Me Alone, Creep!

Grandson is no more. Pete is nursing a broken heart and Ariana is trying to move on while coping with so much. A report says that Pete has been so desperate to fix things with Ariana that it became overwhelming. According to the report, Ariana had to finally block him to keep him from messaging her. RadarOnline   reports that Pete’s attempts to reconcile with Ariana became too much, and that she allegedly blocked him. “She had to tell him straight up to leave her alone,” an insider claims. We understand that the urge to repair a lost relationship is strong, but we sincerely hope that Pete has not gone overboard. “He has tried contacting her and sending her gifts,” a source reports. “In hopes that she will change her mind and take him back,” “But,” the insider says. “That is not going to happen.” The report continues, explaining how Ariana is feeling at the moment. “Ariana is far too busy to focus on her past relationships,” the source says. That really makes this sound over and done. “And,” the insider continues. “She has learned a great lesson from this,” “Which is,” the source explains. “That she cannot give her heart away so easily” As was already reported, Ariana returned some particularly valuable items to Pete. One was the diamond engagement ring. The other was his father’s 9/11 dogtag. She has reportedly taken care of the two tattoos that she received during their relationship. “When she is done with something she is done with it,” the insider says. “And Ariana is now focusing on her career and family.” And speaking of Ariana’s family, they are reportedly “relieved” that this engagement has come to an end. Apparently, Ariana was taken aback by her family’s relief. “She had no idea how much everyone in her family didn’t like him until she broke it off,” the source claims. “And,” the insider continues, Ariana “was like ‘why didn’t you all tell me when we were together?’” It’s called being polite. Josh Duggar: SLAMMED For Filing "Ridiculous" Lawsuit

When you hear the words “Josh Duggar” and “court” together, it’s tempting to fantasize about an alternate reality in which the disgraced former reality star was actually held accountable for his sex crimes and imprisoned. The bad news is, that dream will never become a reality. The good news is, Arkansas court officials are currently raking Josh over the coals and reminding the world of what a horrendous person he really is. Josh is suing the Springdale Police Department , claiming that the decision to release documents about his past sexual assaults resulted in loss of income and “emotional distress.” In one way, we admire the department’s restraint in not simply beating the holy hell out of a molester who’s whining about the “emotional distress” he suffered after news of his crimes went public. In every other way, we wish they would do exactly that, because seriously — f-ck Josh Duggar. Fortunately, the Springdale police are issuing the legal equivalent of a beatdown by refusing to settle with Josh out of court (as he would no doubt prefer) and lambasting the father of five in savage court documents: “Josh Duggar notes that he has a ‘certain level of celebrity’ and that he engaged in public life,” reads one such filing. “Yet he claims that by appearing in a popular reality television series, being a leader in national, political, and civic organizations, and engaging in public speaking, he somehow was conducting himself in a manner consistent with an expectation of privacy.” Lawyers for the department go on to blast Josh as “absurd” and “ridiculous” for believing the documents related to his crimes should have been destroyed on his 21st birthday. The lawsuit is part of Josh’s current comeback tour , which fortunately is not going according to plan. The Duggars have been slowly reintroducing Josh to fans with the obvious goal of eventually bringing him back on television. Lawsuits designed to make Josh look like the victim are part of the plan, but thus far, none of them have gone in his favor. First, Josh sued In Touch Weekly for publishing the documents, and now he’s going after the police ho gave the tabloid access to his records. Dredging up his dark past in an effort to win back fans is a bizarre strategy, but being the sharpest crayon in the box is one thing Josh has never been accused of. Amy Duggar Shades Family Members for Having Kids Too Soon

The last time we wrote about Amy Duggar, we said that her famous family members had just recently allowed her back into their lives . Such a re-entrance may have been short-lived, however. Why do we say this? Because Amy has come out with some serious fire for her supposed loved ones! Often considered the black sheep of her strict and conservative family, Amy once posed nude on Twitter . Even worse in the eyes of her cousins, aunts and uncles, Amy has been married for three years — and she has no kids! Zero. Zilch. None at all. While this may seem impossible to believe for anyone with the last name Duggar, Amy tells Radar Online that she has a simple explanation for why she and husband Dillon have decided to wait. “I didn’t want to limit myself by just getting pregnant right off the bat and not exploring the rest of what my life could be,” Duggar says simply . At least it sounds simple to us . Plenty of husbands and wives want to travel a bit or just enjoy each other’s company for awhile before their world gets taken over by children. It’s a reasonable position for anyone to take. Anyone not named Duggar, that is. As regular Hollywood Gossip readers surely know well, Jinger Duggar, Joy-Anna Duggar and Kendra Duggar ALL gave birth to their first child in 2018. They each got pregnant basically as soon as they tied the knot and were permitted, per family rules, to engage in intercourse with their significant others. Duggar females basically exist simply to get married and then to procreate as often as possible. But Amy is focused on her new clothing boutique at the moment and isn’t desperate to become a mother. It will almost definitely happen at some point; she just doesn’t understand the immediacy. “Babies are on our brain for sure,” Amy says of her and her husband. But she wants to make sure her professional life is in order first and that she is as ready as one can be to take the journey to motherhood before actually doing so. What a crazy concept, right?!? “I want to be settled. I think it’s boutique, and then a baby,” said the former reality star, explaining how she wants to successfully launch her business before dedicating herself to a tiny human being. She also wants to make sure her relationship can handle it. Having a baby is a really big deal! It can destroy a marriage if two people are not on the same page. “I want to have this really great foundation with my husband so that when my baby turns 18 years old, I’m not learning how to love my husband all over again,” says Amy. Jill Duggar: Finally Ready to Leave Derick Dillard?!

For years now, rumors that Jill Duggar is planning to divorce Derick Dillard have been circulating nonstop. Despite the many, many ways in which he’s screwed up, however, that outcome still seems unlikely, if only because divorce is so severely frowned upon in Jill’s family. For all we know, Jill is as disgusted by Derick’s actions as anyone else. But in all likelihood, the mother of two will remain with her disappointing husband simply because that’s what’s expected of her. That won’t stop fans from dreaming of a future in which Jill kicks him to the curb, however: It’s tough to say what Derick’s most egregious offense of the past year has been. The most obvious candidate is Derick getting fired from Counting On for expressing his bigoted views in a bizarre Twitter tirade. Awful stuff, especially since Jill quit the show as a gesture of solidarity, thus leaving her family with no source of income. Derick has yet to apologize and has, in fact, doubled down on those views, so it’s highly unlikely he’ll be returning to television anytime in the near future. So that might be the biggest reason that the public hates him, but Jill’s biggest reason for wanting to kick him to the curb probably has to do with Derick’s infidelity. Yes, as you may have heard, Derick has been accused of cheating on Jill. Jill hasn’t publicly commented on those reports but she recently posted a photo of herself reading the Bible’s ” warning on adultery ” section. Fans noted that she had highlighted the entire section. Not long after, Jill posted the image below, in which she’s seen reading a self-help book about boundaries and the importance of removing “toxic” people from one’s life. Fans got excited yet again, but it’s worth noting that this pic came just days after the Dillards revealed that Jill attends law school lectures with Derick so that she can help him take notes. Not exactly the act of a woman who’s planning to pack up the kids and leave ASAP. Maybe one day Jill will surprise us all by asserting her independence and moving on without Derick. Beloved actor Macaulay Culkin doesn't make that many public appearances these days. When he does, fans take notice. On Tuesday night, Macaulay appeared at the American Music Awards as a presenter. He handed Post Malone the award for Favorite Male Artist: Pop/Rock, which Post Malone somehow won. Fans of Macaulay's were thrilled to see him, and they let their voices be heard on Twitter. Some were astonished at the reminder that he's, like, an actual adult these days. Others were happy to see him looking so happy and healthy. And others, of course, were a little thirsty for him. 1.
