It’s hard to believe he has any time on his hands to do anything more than the 100 jobs he already has–but when certain people ask for a favor, you do it…and Michelle Obama is undoubtedly one of those people. Michelle Obama’s smash-hit Becoming is already breaking all sorts of records, and it comes with an equally impressive soundtrack curated by the man himself. The forever First Lady tapped The Roots drummer and musical expert to create a 300-song playlist to accompany her book. “Like a lot of people, I connect many of my memories with the songs and melodies I was listening to at the time,” Obama shared in a statement about the song selection with Billboard . “From the jazz and Stevie Wonder of my childhood, to Prince and Earth, Wind & Fire as I came into my own as an adult, to Beyoncé , Janelle Monáe , and so many others who provided the stirring backbeats of my time in the White House — music has always been a defining part of who I’ve become.” Michelle went on to say that she is “thankful to Questlove for curating these playlists and infusing them with his signature style.” “Life’s a little better when we live it to Questlove’s beat,” Obama said. The whole playlist is titled, The Michelle Obama Musiaqualogy and you can hear it playing at Obama’s book tour events all over the country. If you can’t make it out to see Michelle speak, Musiaqualogy is also available on Spotify. The massive playlist comes in three volumes, organized by era. Volume One runs from 1964-1979. Volume Two covers 1980-1997. Volume Three spans 1997-2018. The first two playlists are meant to be played in order, while, true to its time period, the 1997-2018 playlist is meant to be played on shuffle.

Botham Jean ‘s mother is sick and tired of the f***ery that is currently taking place within the Dallas Police Department. The boys and girls in blue are doing everything in their power to besmirch Botham’s good name. A name that, according to what family lawyer Lee Merritt told CNN , had never once been associated with crime or arrest in his 26 years of life. “The Dallas Police Department investigators were interested specifically in finding information that could help assassinate his character,” attorney Lee Merritt told reporters. “Twenty-six years on this earth he lived his life without a blemish. It took being murdered by a Dallas police officer for Botham Jean to suddenly become a criminal.” Jean’s mother also had words for the people who are protecting the woman who murdered her son. “I’m calling on the Dallas officials … please come clean. Give me justice for my son because he does not deserve what he got,” Allison Jean said. There aren’t even proper words to describe the unbridled anger that we feel toward cops when things like this happen. Then they have the nerve to chide Black folks for wearing socks with pigs on them…

Robots can now jog , do backflips, and soon, they could even replace stunt doubles. Just ask Disney. The mega-conglomerate — who owns ABC, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm — all of a sudden decided they need athletic robots for their theme parks. According to Business Insider , the humanoid ‘bots can perform incredible stunts in midair — they’re calling them “Stuntronics.” So great, they have a cool name too. With Stuntronics, parks like Disneyland hope to create ‘bots that can act as “stunt doubles” for other “hero” animatronic figures in the park. They will be able to flip through the air, control their rotation and control their center of mass. They’ll even be able to strike a superhero pose in mid-air. …so the Stuntronics will literally be stuntin’ on jokers. Peep them in action below… So yea, robots are out here thriving. And the fact that Disney is behind it is no surprise. Let’s just make sure we all stay conscious of what “Disney” is up to. Or else… Just sayin’.
