No papers have even been filed yet and things are already getting nasty in the Tiger Woods divorce, with his lawyers accusing Elin Woods’ of leaking to the media. Elin’s lawyer, London-based Walter H. White, sent an email to his staff April 19, saying he’d “been accused by the other side of leaking information to the press.”

Elin Woods: Fighting For the Kids!

After enduring months of the Tiger Woods sex scandal, Elin Nordegren is desperate to leave the sordid mess – and she’s battling to help her kids escape it as well. She wants to leave and raise her children, Sam, 2, and Charlie, 15 months, in her homeland of Sweden, and wants her divorce from Tiger Woods to permit that. “Elin is working around the clock to cut a custody deal that will allow her to permanently move herself and the kids to Sweden,” a friend of Elin Woods reports. According to sources, Tiger knows he can’t fight her decision to move home to Sweden , but retained high-power international custody lawyer Thomas Sasser. That’s more to make sure he gets visitation and doesn’t lose access to the kids when she gets there than to stop her from proceeding with her move, though. Will Elin Woods divorce Tiger and relocate with the cubs? “Elin is fighting for sole custody ,” says one insider. “Tiger is having none of it,” says another. Sources close to Elin Woods say she just wants to shield her children from the scandal, not punish Tiger Woods, even after everything he did to hurt them all. “Elin would never, ever stop him from seeing them” the friend says. “Her only focus is the children. They have always been her primary concern in all of this.” All indications are that there is little to no hope of reconciliation at this point, and the only question surrounding the couple’s divorce is who will file first .

Tiger and Elin Woods’ divorce, while not official yet, is reportedly in the works, and will be banged out hard and fast … insert obligatory Joslyn James joke here. The golfer and his estranged wife are trying to strike agreements on custody and division of assets . Once they do, they’ll quietly and quickly file divorce papers. This according to sources very familiar with the situation. Not surprisingly, the important thing for both Tiger and Elin Woods, aside from equitable sharing of their kids, is keeping the terms of the divorce confidential.

We hear Sweden is lovely this time of year. Too bad Tiger Woods won’t get to experience its natural splendor. Instead, he’s livin’ the swingin’ single life while the wife and kids vacation there. Elin Woods whisked away their two kids Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 14 months, for a trip to her home country earlier this week to visit her family. An insider says “nonstop construction” continues on a house Elin purchased last year, prompting speculation that she’s moving home for good. “Working hard” to speed up renovations, “She and the kids are going to be spending most of the summer there,” a source says. “Without Tiger.” As for beyond the summer? At the top of Elin’s to-do list is divorcing Tiger Woods , the world’s #1 golfer and likely its #1 philanderer of moderately hot cocktail waitresses. “It’s 100% happening,” the insider says of the divorce, which is ridiculous, as the source has no name, and neither Tiger or Elin confirmed it. “Elin and her mom met with a lawyer.” Well, that clears it up, doesn’t it? Don’t get us wrong, we fully expect them to split up. But to call it “100%” at this point is absurd, given the amount of things up in the air and lack of concrete information to go on. At the very least it’s a ways off, as the source acknowledges: “It’s going to take a long time to go through. [But] she will go through with it. She is all about being a mom. She will do it slowly and carefully.” What SHOULD Elin do?

Tiger Woods: Swingin’ Single!

While Elin Nordegren is away, Tiger Woods will play … sort of. It remains to be seen what becomes of the golfer’s marriage, but he and his estranged spouse certainly appear to be living separate lives right now. While Elin took the kids to Sweden on a vacation sans Tiger, the star attended a Nickelback concert and partied backstage surrounded by security. Earlier that night, he and friends dined together in a restaurant, believed to be his first public outing since the sex scandal that broke last November. Partying like a rock star? Maybe. Maybe not. But the wife and kids were clearly nowhere in sight, and all indications are that Elin is so over Tiger . Is Elin Woods preparing to leave Tiger for good? Tiger’s venture back into the Orlando nightlife was described as tame as he enjoyed himself with a group, was seen by many and didn’t demand any favors. No cocktail waitresses were seen … well, except if they were serving drinks. While this isn’t being called an official separation, the couple has already been separated for some time . Elin is planning to spend time in Sweden visiting friends and family while considering what she wants to do about her marriage. By the time Elin returns, they will have spent only three nights in the same city in a month, as the trip is her fourth without Tiger in the last three weeks. Elin Woods Whisks Tiger’s Kids Off to Sweden

Tiger Woods’ estranged wife, Elin Nordegren Woods, flew home to Sweden with the couple’s two children on Monday, and the golfer nowhere in sight. Yeah, she’s so over him . It becomes clearer by the day. Elin flew to Sweden with a single stop after leaving Orlando, Fla., yesterday, arriving in her native country around 4:30 a.m. local time via private jet. While European airports had been closed due to the ash cloud from a recent Icelandic volcano, flights recently had been allowed back into Sweden. Elin Woods and the cubs were on one of the first . Elin Woods and son Charlie Axel Woods, sans Tiger, earlier this year . The trip to Sweden is being characterized as a vacation, not a life-changing event, by a source familiar with the situation, but just the same makes one wonder. The couple’s continued separation – vacationing separately, spending virtually no time together since relations cooled last month – makes their struggle clear. Her vacation also follows separate reports last week that Elin will be moving back to Sweden full time once the renovations on her home there are complete. Elin Woods has taken four trips without Tiger in the past several weeks, including four nights in Arizona overlapping with Tiger’s comeback at the Masters. Elin and Tiger’s relationship has been icy, with tension over Tiger’s return to golf, and rumors swirling that Elin will divorce Tiger – it’s just a matter of when.

Earlier this week, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy broke up , ending a five-year relationship. It looks like the comedian has no interest in starting a new one any time soon, considering his take on the Tiger Woods scandal. First, he Tweeted a relatively harmless joke on Thursday, writing: “I think it’s time we checked our collective EGO and let the guy play! If you really wanna see sexual disfunction get 2 know your favorite basketball star! Curling is the only safe sport 4 a married man.” There’s certainly truth to that statement, as almost every world famous athlete – from Alex Rodriguez to Muhammad Ali to Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan – has cheated on his wife. But this is where Carrey may have lost his female fan base: “No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity,” he later Tweeted. “Elin had 2 b a willing participant on the ride 4 whatever reason. kids/lifestyle ;^)” We’ll never know the truth, of course, but Elin’s reaction has been anything but one of acquiescence. Unlike jilted spouses such as Vanessa Bryant and Jenny Sanford, she didn’t sit next to her husband during his apologetic press conference. She isn’t at The Masters, hasn’t worn her wedding ring in months and totally won’t put out for Tiger . With the prestigious Masters tournament set to commence this morning and himself teeing off at 1:42 p.m., golf great Tiger Woods is finally back on course. Well, mostly. Although he is back to competitive golf this week for the first time since his sordid sex scandal began to unfold four months ago, wife, Elin Woods is absent. “Elin’s not coming this week, no,” Tiger told reporters at his press conference in Augusta, Ga., clearly uncomfortable dealing with the topic of his marriage. This isn’t to say Elin Woods is totally opposed to his much-anticipated comeback, but she’s also not entirely thrilled by it, given the state of their home life. We can’t imagine there are many smiles in Islesworth these days. “She’s happy this will take some of the heat off her,” a source says.
