Ellen Popmeo, one of the stars in Grey’s Anatomy, was geared up for her life to extend way further in her career. After years of wielding her scalpel as Meredith Grey, she still surprised many people because they find the actress suited up in scrubs and back on set just four weeks after giving birth to a baby girl whom she named Stella Luna. Pompeo, 40 years old, said that she couldn’t take long maternity leave because she felt like she needed to work while she still has this opportunity. The writers and producers of the show were truly nice and they wrote her scenes so that she could pre-shoot them. In spite of her being a new mom, she can still successfully manage her career. She has to balance motherhood and her career, but puts her little Stella on top of her priorities. The actress is busy in instilling a strong sense of self in her daughter. She considers the trait as one of which she hopes to pass on to her Stella. She is hoping that her baby will have more self-confidence than she did as a child. She has this idea that when you believe in yourself, you don’t have to look for validation from others. Despite of hectic and stressful schedule, she always makes an effort to add a bit of spice to the relationship that she shares with her husband Chris Ivery.
