Kylie Jenner Sings on Instagram, Actually Has Talent!

Amongst all of the many, many (many) criticisms leveled at the Kardashian-Jenner clan over the years, the most prevalent might be the complaint that none of them have any real talent. Sure, the Kim Kardashian sex tape featured some serious acting skills (There’s no way Ray J is that good.), but for the most part, the Kards are famous for being famous, and the only apparent talent in the family is Kris Jenner’s gift for exploiting her children. For a while, it looked like the youngest members of the family intended to keep the tradition going by raking in seven-figures by posting selfies on Instagram and eye-rolling their way through the occasional episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. But then, something remarkable happened. Kendall Jenner became a model , and people began paying her to do actual work that’s actually of value to someone. (Fashion designers are people, too.) Now, her arguably more famous little sister might be following in Kendall’s footsteps by cashing in on something other than her name: Kylie Jenner Sings Yes, it looks like the rumors about Kylie Jenner’s music career might be true. Kylie posted the above video online earlier this week, and while she’s been ‘Gramming and Snapchatting like a fiend lately, this is the first time in a long time that she’s shared her singing voice with fans. So what’s the deal? Is Kylie hinting at an upcoming project, or was she just having fun? Either way, this is probably a better use of her time than telling the world that she’s ” high as f–k .”  View Slideshow: Kendall and Kylie Jenner: Queens of Instagram!

Father Stuns Daughter with Unique Wedding "Dance"

We're accustomed to seeing unique wedding toasts on the Internet. Remember when that Best Man covered Frozen for his impressive speech? Or when that Maid of Honor went all Eminem on attendees? This is the first time we can remember, however, that a unique father-daughter dance has gone viral. That's because it stops being an actual dance after just a few moments of swaying around to Louis Armstrong's “What A Wonderful World.” What takes its place? Watch to find out, but listen to proud dad Jim Mickunas explain his motivation via the video's YouTube description: “My daughter has always found her own path. She played Flag football at 6. She hated wearing dresses. She wore a tuxedo to her first communion. She lettered in Soccer and Track. She then became an Engineer for the largest automaker in the world when she was 22. “I could not imagine having a traditional father daughter dance with her. That is not what we were or are…So I came up with this. She had no idea!”

Captain Cape-For-Hoes: Rapper Vince Staples Defends Iggy Azalea “Who Are You To Say She’s Fake?”

Vince Staples Defends Iggy Azalea Against Character Attacks Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall, twerking, blondes in a single bound… Via HipHopDX “I do not care,” Staples said in a clip that debuted as a part of today’s DX Daily. “White people invented basketball. I don’t care. Why would I care? She getting paid. We speak English, we go to Christian churches. It’s the same thing. Yeah it’s fucked up but you just now getting a whiff of that? That’s what it is. Nobody got mad when Eminem did it. Why you mad at her ’cause she a girl and Eminem would probably slap you? It’s more than that. Azealia Banks got a point with the stuff she saying. Everybody got a point. But at the end of the day we all just got jobs. That’s the way I look at it because a lot of things are culture, you never know where none of this shit come from, man. Of course Hip Hop is something that’s very important to Black people but it’s a lot of other things that are important to us that we tend to neglect like family structure. It is what it is. It happens. “Everybody entitled to their opinion,” he added. “I stay out of all that. I don’t wanna argue with nobody. I wanna be able to pay my rent and I need a carwash right now so I’m ’bout to go do that. I’m just happy I’m able to do the little stuff. I don’t care, all that bigger picture—ain’t nobody give a fuck when my homies got shot in their face. So if you talk about, ‘What you care about?’ That’s what I care about. When the police start paying for some funerals and something like that instead of softball games then I’ll probably have something to say about that issue. It just don’t relate to me. I come from a different place. We got white people [who] gangbang. We got white boys from the hood. Are they appropriating Black culture? Yeah, but them is my niggas because they care just as much as me. Who are you to say what somebody actually love? You can’t say what touched anybody any kind of way. I don’t think that’s up to me personally. That’s not up to me. She might love Hip Hop to her core. That might be what she always wanted to do when she was younger because she seen it on the TV but that’s the reason everybody wanted to do it. We just happen to look like them.” Does young Vince Staples have valid point? Is there a possibility that Iggy has hip-hop in her heart? Image via Splash/XXL

Azealia Banks Slams Kendrick Lamar on Twitter: Shut Your Face!

Many people have wondered how Azealia Banks passed her time in the two years that she didn’t release any new music, and now we know: She stocked her reserves full of trash-talk about every single rapper who’s more famous than she is! (Read: all of them.) So now that she’s attempting to become relevant again, Ms. Bank$ is letting it all out in the form of seething, often racially-charged Twitter tirades. Remember when rappers had to write songs in order to express their contempt for one another? Those were the days. Anyway, whether she’s calling T.I.’s wife ugly  or referring to Iggy Azalea as ” Satan in the form of mayonnaise ,” Banks is hip hop’s foremost hater these days, so we suppose it was only a matter of time before she directed her fury toward the genre’s current king: Kendrick Lamar appears on the cover of the new issue of Billboard magazine, and it seems Azealia didn’t like his comments about his own experiences as a black man in America. As you may have guessed, she didn’t keep her feelings to herself: “HOW DARE YOU open your face to a white publication and tell them we don’t respect ourselves,” Banks wrote in a tweet directed at Lamar. “Speak for your f–king self…Dumbest sh-t I’ve ever heard a black man say.” It’s been suggested that Banks’ comments have more to do with Lamar’s defense of her rival Iggy Azalea (“She’s doing her thing. Let her.”) than with his views on race relations, but in any event, it looks as though Kendrick won’t deign to reply.  Probably a good idea.  Banks continues to pick fights with Eminem , T.I., and other more famous artists in hopes that someone will stoop to her level and help her rise above her current Twitter Troll Queen status. Thus far, no one has taken the bait. 18 Celebrity Feuds We Never Saw Coming 1. Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift Taylor Swift wrote a song titled “Bad Blood” about an enemy in the music business. We’re pretty sure the subject was Katy Perry.
