Shots Fired…Literally: Man Popped In The Back Of The Head As He’s Walking Down The Street In NYC

This isht was just cold-blooded murder !!! According to The New York Post , this happened in broad fawking daylight too!!! A man was fatally shot in the head…on West 58th Street and Broadway this afternoon in a shocking act of violence, authorities said. The incident occurred about a block from Carnegie Hall, in front of the St. Thomas Choir School located at 202 W. 58th St. around 1:50 p.m., the FDNY said. The victim, Brandon Lincoln Woodard, 31, of Los Angeles, was approached from behind by his killer and shot once in the back of the head, according to NYPD spokesman Paul Browne. He was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Hospital. “The victim was walking westbound on West 58th street in front of St. Thomas Choir School when a male black, unknown age, in a dark coat, dark hood and khaki pants began walking westbound behind the victim,” said Browne. “The shooter came up at close range and shot the victim one time in the back of the head.” The street was crowded with passers-by at the time of the shooting. After the shooting, stunned witnesses ran over to a nearby fire house and said Woodard had been shot in the face, sources said. The firefighters then rushed over to Woodard and tried to aid him, sources said. The suspect, described as a black male wearing a dark coat, dark hood and khaki pants, hopped into the passenger side of a light-colored Lincoln MKZ sedan, Browne said. “The shooter got into the passenger front seat of that awaiting vehicle, which had the driver in it and they drove out of the parking space and proceeded eastbound toward Seventh Avenue on West 58th street,” Browne said. “The gun was a silver semiautomatic pistol and a shell casing was recovered at scene,” Browne added. “We’re canvassing for videos and witnesses.” The shooter appeared calm and determined to carry out the execution-style shooting, according to cops. “There was no rush,” Browne said. “He just walked up, shot him and walked away.” The NYPD has obtained video of the shooting. Shady Azz Billboard In Texas Tries To Sway Black Voters With Image Of MLK, Jr.

Are they trying to imply that Black voters only vote for black candidates? Even if Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a republican, he definitely wouldn’t be a fan of all the bull going on today. According to The Huffington Post : Hovering above Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Dallas, a provocative billboard makes a controversial claim in black and red block letters: “Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican. VOTE REPUBLICAN!” It’s a claim, and a voter registration tactic, that has been used before, despite a decidedly mixed reactions from community members who see it. The ads posted this year — as well as similar billboards posted in Austin and in Houston back in 2009 — are the brainchild of Claver Kamau-Imani, a Houston, Texas, church leader and the founder of RagingElephants.org, a conservative group that aims to recruit more African Americans for the Republican Party. Kamau-Imani said the use of the American Civil Rights leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner is appropriate and accurate. “The use of Dr. King, because of him being an icon in the community, we feel would be most effective,” Kamau-Imani told CBS DFW. “That’s why we used it. We have the documentation to back the claims we’re making on the billboard.” This documentation is hard to pin down, however. In 2009, Kamau-Imani told Fox News that King’s niece, the Rev. Alveda King, said her uncle was indeed a Republican. But while video of Alveda King’s claim is available on YouTube, Kamau-Imani acknowledged there’s no documentation to back her up. That 2009 billboard was taken down early, after the leader of the local New Black Panther Party chapter organized a press conference rallying support against the $3,000 sign. “Martin Luther King may have very well believed in some of the Christian principles of the Republican Party, but Dr. Martin Luther King was not a Republican or a Democrat,” Quanell X told Fox News at the time. “[He] would not be with the party of Newt Gingrich, he would not be with the party of Sarah Palin, he would not be with the party of Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage or Sean Hannity.” Dr. King’s son Martin Luther King III, as well as various other friends have all objected to this label. Ultimately, Politifact said the claim was false. Back in Dallas, Peter Johnson, an activist who worked alongside King in the 1960s, told CBS that the billboards are simply offensive. “Using his image is one thing, exploiting his legacy is another,” Johnson said. “To distort his legacy, it’s sacred to some of us. We know the suffering and sacrifice that was made.” To take the sacrifice that Dr. King and so many others made is beyond disrespectful. And Atlantic City is underwater !!! What the hell?? Hurricane Sandy is whipping her wrath on the mid-Atlantic this evening and she’s proving to be one angry beyotch!! According to the New York Post : A four-story apartment building in Chelsea suffered a partial collapse this evening, authorities said. The building, on Eighth Avenue near West 15th Street, has the front façade completely exposed following the collapse around 6:25 p.m. One firefighter suffered minor injuries, the FDNY said. A tourist from Seattle who was staying in the building said she first noticed some pieces falling from the ceiling. “It’s an old building, it creaks and things, so initially we didn’t think anything was going on,” said Natasha Stelmaszek. She then went outside to look at the building, which has a business on the first floor, and noticed a crack. “I decided to go upstairs to the fourth floor and then down to the second to let everyone known,” Stelmaszek, 56, said. “And as a group, we just figured it was time to get out.” Isabelle Boussard, who is visiting from France with her family, said after Stelmaszek alerted them to the imminent collapse, “we quickly went in and packed our luggage and we came across the street. “Ten minutes later, we watched it fall. It may not be illegal but this thuggish isht should be criminal! Robney hopes get an up on votes by swaying CEO’s and, while we’ve been getting used to his shady azz , his encouragement goes against the definition of a ‘secret ballot’. According to The Huffington Post… In a June conference call hosted by the conservative-leaning National Federation of Independent Businesses, Mitt Romney encouraged business owners to let their employees know which candidate they support and how the election’s outcome will affect their business. During a telephone town hall with small-business owners, first reported by In These Times, Romney said President Barack Obama’s policies have hurt employers, criticizing the president on trade, labor, and his signature health care law. “It’s an anti-business, anti-job agenda,” Romney said. At the end of the call, Romney urged business owners to relay their thoughts on the election to their employees. “I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe is in the best interest of your enterprise and therefore their job and their future in the upcoming elections,” Romney said. “And whether you agree with me or you agree with President Obama, or whatever your political view, I hope, I hope you pass those along to your employees.” He continued: “Nothing illegal about you talking to your employees about what you believe is best for the business, because I think that will figure into their election decision, their voting decision, and of course doing that with your family and your kids as well. I particularly think our young kids … they need to understand that American runs on a strong and vibrant business and we need businesses growing and thriving this country.” Romney is correct that such behavior is not illegal. After the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling, which greatly expanded corporations and unions’ political speech, employers can legally compel workers to participate in political campaigns. However, the practice is often controversial…Arthur Allen, CEO of ASG Software Solutions, made a similar plea in a pro-Romney email leaked last week. “If we fail as a nation to make the right choice on November 6th, and we lose our independence as a company, I don’t want to hear any complaints regarding the fallout that will most likely come,” Allen wrote. Wow… Rugby Team Commemorates Anniversary Of Horrific Plane Crash That Forced Them Into Cannibalism An International Rugby team who survived a horrific plane crash years ago recently reunited on the anniversary of the crash to recount their disturbing story of 72-day survival without food. via News One Surviving members of an Uruguayan rugby team have played a match postponed four decades ago when their plane crashed in the Andes, stranding them for 72 days in the cordillera and forcing them to eat human flesh to stay alive. During the anniversary ceremony, military jets flew over the field, where parachutists draped in Chilean and Uruguayan flags landed. In a corner, survivors wept when officials unveiled a commemorative frame with pictures of those who died in the snowy peaks. “The conditions were more horrifying than you can ever imagine. To live at 4,000 meters without any food,” said survivor Eduardo Strauch, 65. “The only reason why we’re here alive today is because we had the goal of returning home … (Our loved ones) gave us life. They made the sacrifice for others.” The Uruguayan air force plane that carried the team crashed in a mountain pass in October 1972 while en route from Montevideo to Santiago. Of the 45 passengers aboard, 16 survived by feeding on dead family members and friends preserved in the snow. “I think the greatest sadness I felt in my life was when I had to eat a dead body,” said Roberto Canessa, 59, who was a teenage medical student at the time of the crash. “I would ask myself: Is it worth doing this? And it was because it was in order to live and preserve life, which is exactly what I would have liked for myself if it had been my body that lay on the floor,” he said. In an interview with Radio Iowa, she was forceful about her hubby’s goals… “Stop it. This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring,” she said. “This is hard and, you know, it’s an important thing that we’re doing right now and it’s an important election and it is time for all Americans to realize how significant this election is and how lucky we are to have someone with Mitt’s qualifications and experience and know-how to be able to have the opportunity to run this country.” Obama’s leading Money Mitt in the polls and after all of the damage the Republican candidate has done this past few weeks, we’re interested to see how October will end up as far as numbers are concerned. Racist German Group Stages Flash Mobs For Publicity This isht is cray! Racism has reared it’s ugly head in Germany yet again — in the form of a neo-Nazi that has been holding torchbearing mass masked protests against multiculturalism, with the hopes of drawing large audiences in and increasing their reputation. A German neo-Nazi group has been harnessing 21st century technology to stage terrifying flash-mob protests that echo the fascist torch rallies of the 1930s — and then make them go viral. In a demonstration on May 1st in Bauzen, Germany hundreds of black-clad figures with white masks suddenly converged in a street carrying torches and signs with extreme nationalist slogans, then dissipated before a major police presence could arrive, according to Germany’s Die Zeit newspaper. The scene evokes the days of the Third Reich, when the Nazi SA would march with torches held high during night rallies as they saluted Hitler, according to Die Zeit. A group calling themselves ‘Die Unsterblichen’ (The Immortals) has been orchestrating these kinds of flash mobs in cities all over Germany for the past several months, according to CNN. Several videos of their spontaneous protests can be found on YouTube, some of them with tens of thousands of views. Most of the videos end with a chilling slogan — ‘Make your short life immortal,’ or ‘So that those to come don’t forget that you were German.’ The high-tech mob organizes their marches via text message so authorities don’t know where they’ll turn up next, CNN reported. The group’s website encourages others to organize similar flash mob demonstrations, in order to ‘become immortal.’ The group uses an outdated word – ‘Volkstod’ – on their signs, the newspaper noted, intentionally harking back to the days of the national socialism. It’s a turn of phrase that neo-Nazis use to describe what they perceive as the degradation of the German race taking place under democratic government. A Neo-Nazi group in the state of Brandenburg called ‘Spreelichter’ first came up with the idea of organizing flash mob protests in 2009, according to Die Zeit. The group was banned by state authorities the earlier this summer. The homes of more than a dozen known neo-Nazis have been raided by police in hopes of finding the group’s central leadership – if there is any to be found. Dr. Hajo Funke, a professor at the Free University of Berlin, told CNN he believes the Immortals are hoping to attract young people to their cause with the dramatic and viral displays. “It’s a very simple idea: Put masks on your faces and represent the danger to the people,” he told CNN.
