‘LHHATLS8’ Recap: Karlie Redd’s Engagement Party Is Nothing But Drama

Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Spice is still a hot topic on tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta , but Karlie Redd comes in a close second. We start the episode with Mimi, Sierra, Rasheeda, and Pooh. Mimi is still acting clueless about why her Black History tour with Spice fell apart. And then…Pooh goes on and one, again, about how she had an alleged threesome with Karlie Redd but that Karlie Redd keeps denying it. Mimi brings up a good point, which is that the Karlie we all know would usually own up to some mess like that so it’s odd that she would deny it in this case. In any event, Karlie’s engagement party is coming up, and we already know how these things go. Speaking of Karlie, she and her fiance are visiting with the fertility doctor because he told her she has to kick her ivf treatments into high gear aka it’s time to stop pretending she’s 25, or 35, for that matter: Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Anyway, Karlie’s fiance steps out and she uses his absence to say what she really had to say. She tells the doctor that she has been on her period for over a month. That obviously isn’t normal, so the doctor orders some tests because this could be a miscarriage. But we won’t find out what the results are until next week’s episode. But back to Karlie’s other drama. Che Mack got a resident DJ gig at a nightclub. It’s the same club Karlie is having her engagement party. You know where this is going, right? So, Karlie stops by the club and learns that Che will be her party’s DJ. Che starts talking all this yang about how they should put the past behind them and Karlie is looking like: That annoys Che Mack. In Che’s world, she and Karlie have a history, but Karlie is acting like she doesn’t know her. Later on, we find Che Mack linking up with Pooh. Pooh isn’t going to Karlie’s party but she gives Che Mack a notarized note and asks her to use it to expose Karlie Redd at her engagement party. Che Mack takes a look at the paper’s contents and says she’d be livid if someone did that to her at her party, but you know what? Che is dumb enough to take this drama to the party. Che Mack starts up right after Karlie gives her thank you speech and gets all the pleasantries out of the way. Che goes from giving Karlie Redd a shout out to talking about how she has a message for Karlie from someone who couldn’t be there. This obviously goes downhill. Che goes on about Pooh and Karlie’s alleged threesome, then Karlie attempts to throw her microphone at Che. Karlie’s fiance has a firm grip on her so she can charge at anyone and security kicks Che Mack outta there. That’s that. Next week, we get Karlie’s prognosis and potentially find out that her man is cheating. See you then. Lady Gaga Dumped Christian Carino Because He Texted Too Much

Lady Gaga has maintained a rather stoic poker face ever since ending her engagement to Christian Carino . The singer broke up with her fiance about a month ago, but has not said a word about the split in public and has not revealed the reason why she never made it down the aisle with Carino. We may now have the answer, however. According to the new issue of Us Weekly, there was no cheating on either side. There was nothing especially salacious or sordid at all, in fact. Simply put, an insider tells this tabloid: “ Chris didn’t treat Gaga very well toward the end of their [two-year] relationship.” This same source says that the artist there “really leaned on” actor and close friend Jeremy Renner “in the weeks after it ended,” although this relationship never turned romantic. A second source also spoke to Us Weekly and confirmed that “Gaga was the one who broke things off” with the talent agent. “He was jealous,” this insider explains. “He was trying to find her all the time and texted her a lot. Her friends didn’t like him either.” Sounds sort of like most of our relationships in high school, you know?!? Gaga has been spending a ton of time ever since this break-up with Renner, sparking the aforementioned rumors of a romance between these superstars. As we’re sure you’re also aware, Gaga has also been linked to Bradley Cooper, her co-star in the wildly overrated film A Star is Born. Many people out there simply can’t comprehend the chemistry between Cooper and Gaga unless the two have been boning ever since they shot this terrible movie. The chatter over Cooper and Gaga only grew more intense after they performed the smash hit single “Shallow” on stage at the 2019 Academy Awards. There’s no way these two could look at each other that way without being in love, right?!? Wrong, Cooper and Gaga have insited. “They both find the relationship rumors funny,” Hollywood Life previously wrote, adding: “Both Gaga and Bradley Cooper find it sweet and laughable at the same time that fans are saying they will get married someday, especially since Gaga announced the end of her engagement this week.” Truth is, all this talk is really just a compliment to Gaga’s acting skills, which were the only positive takeaway from A Star is Born. Seriously, the should have been a Lifetime Movie of the Week. It was so lame and cliche-filled and predictable. But anyway: Shallow is a great song! Jersey Shore Cast Showers Sammi Sweetheart With Love Following Engagement!

Call the girls, Sammi “The Sweetheart” Giancola is going to be a bride!  The 31-year-old former MTV star announced on Tuesday that she is engaged to Christian Biscardi .  After Sammi shared a picture of her longtime boyfriend down on one knee, her Jersey Shore co-stars were quick to congratulate her on the news .  “I’m completely overwhelmed with happiness,” she captioned the photo. “Yesterday was the best day of my life! I get to marry my other half, best friend, and soulmate. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you!” She also added engagement ring emojis and hashtagged fiance and Mrs. Biscardi.  Her new (obviously) tan and well-built fiance also shared the pic to the Gram along with the caption, “I am beyond excited to get to marry my best friend!” “Here’s to the future Mr. & Mrs. Biscardi.” He also joked on Sammi’s comment section, writing, “I love you and I’m equally thrilled that no one is going to tell me to put a ring on it 76,000 times a day!” Oops, my bad.  Sammi and Christian have been together for a little more than two years, which gave fans plenty of time to get over her most notable relationship with on-and-off again co-star Ronnie Oritz-Magro.  Which as most everyone knows, did not end well.  Sammi was the only original Jersey Shore cast member who decided to skip out on the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation reunion show.  At the time, she admitted she was focusing on her “business and relationship” instead and that she also wanted to “avoid potentially toxic situations.” AKA Ron.  And although she stayed at home while her fellow co-stars were living it up in Miami Beach, she still remains very close to (some of) her MTV family. Most of whom were ecstatic for her engagement news!  “OMG I’M SCREAMING SAMANTHA I LOVE YOU!” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi wrote on her Instagram post. She added, “You deserve the world and I love him!” Jennie “Jwoww” Farley, who is currently going through a nasty divorce from husband Roger Mathews , even expressed her excitement saying, “omg! omg omg I’m so freaking happy for you!” “FINALLY!” Angelina Pivarnick commented. “Congrats love!” adding a series of lips and raising hand emojis.  DJ Pauly D even simply wrote, “Congrats Sam!!!” But to none of our surprise, Ronnie’s name did not appear in the comment section of the post.  Although he’s been in a recent, sometimes  violent, relationship with his baby mama, Jen Harley, many Jersey Shore fans have accused Ronnie of still having feelings for Sam.  And after the engagement news broke, fans worried about how Ron, who is newly sober, would take it.  “Welp… There goes Ronnie off the deep end. But seriously… Congrats to a healthy relationship,” a fan wrote on Twitter according to Ashley’s Reality Roundup.  Another user commented saying, “Yay! Congrats. You needed someone who loves you for you. And who doesn’t bring drama to your life, and who treats you right… sorry Ron.” But I like to give Ronnie the benefit of the doubt since he has put in somewhat of an effort to change his life around, and I’m sure he is in some way happy for Sammi.  Well, we can only hope. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub got engaged to Olivier Maier after just weeks of dating, and just months after her last divorce. On Monday, just days after their engagement, they were scheduled to be married — but wisely postponed. Now, it turns out that the two have already broken up . This is … absolutely nuts. Danielle Staub met Olivier Maier late last year through a mutual friend who was dating him at the time. In late February, just months after her split from Martey Caffrey and just a few days after that divorce was finalized, she revealed that she was dating Olivier. Days later, the couple announced that they were engaged. This was Danielle’s twenty-first-engagement. They weren’t messing around about taking things slow, either, and set their wedding date for Monday — by which we mean March 4. But Danielle wisely postponed the wedding … and that’s not all. According to what a source tells Us Weekly , Danielle and Olivier have broken up. That wedding postponement just became permanent. From start to finish, Danielle’s latest relationship lasted just six weeks. While some of her fans were happy to see her move on … and had hoped that a new man might pay off her debts or even buy her a new home. In a statement to Us Weekly , Marty has responded to his ex wife’s newest breakup. “I wish, and will always wish, [for] Danielle to achieve true love and happiness,” Marty says. He continues: “I fell in love with her, remember?” “And although I divorced her last August,” Marty notes. “This still troubles me.” Marty also says that he saw this outcome a mile away. Danielle, who has now been engaged twenty-one times and married four times, apparently did not. Marty admits: “I had early suspicions and doubts about the sincerity about this St. Barts nonsense.” He is referring to the photo of the two of them kissing. “Olivier and Danielle would serve themselves well by putting their feet on the ground and staying there forever,” he suggests. However, he predicts: “I doubt either can.” Marty then reveals that Olivier was dating Gina Curko when he and Danielle met. Though Olivier previously insisted that Danielle played no role in that breakup, Marty clearly feels differently. “This is an absolute disgrace, what they both did,” Marty assesses. “Having no regard for Gina and her kids and Danielle’s kids is something I will never understand,” he says. Danielle’s adult daughters were “pushing back” over the weekend over concerns that Danielle was moving too quickly. There’s just one other twist about Olivier. Remember when Danielle revealed that he’s a duke — the duke of Provence? It turns out that he might not be a real duke after all. See, the duchy of Provence was absorbed by the French monarchy centuries ago. So his ancestor may have been nobility centuries ago — but, honestly, whose wasn’t ? The way that bloodlines work, most of us are descended from nobles or even royalty, but most of us don’t claim titles that don’t exist anymore. Maybe Danielle dodged a bullet.
