Tekashi 6ix9ine Refuses To Take Plea Deal; The Feds Claim They Have Footage Connecting Him To Armed Robberies

View post:

Source: @50Cent / Instagram Tekashi isn’t taking the plea deal and he’s ready to go to court to fight for his innocence, but the Feds say they have proof he was involved. via: TMZ The saying goes, pics or it didn’t happen … and in  Tekashi69 ‘s case, the feds say they have all they need to prove his involvement in multiple crimes … TMZ has learned.  Federal prosecutors filed documents, obtained by TMZ, which include more than a dozen images of Tekashi, his ex-manager  Kifano “Shotti” Jordan  (aka Tr3way) and other crew members pulling armed robberies and shootings. The evidence seems to have him dead to rights. According to the docs, cops grabbed videos from phones belonging to 6ix9ine or crew members and matched them with surveillance videos of an April 3 armed robbery in Brooklyn. They say the images prove Shotti pulled the robbery, and cops believe Tekashi watched from the street and recorded video. There’s a screen grab from that video, which prosecutors think Tekashi gave to a 3rd party to post on the Internet. Also included … matching shots of a backpack that was stolen, and later found in Tekashi’s home during a Sept. raid. That raid also turned up an AR-15 rifle.

Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa & More Own The Spotlight At BAPE Heads Show In NYC

Read more:

Source: Tenzin Sherub / CM Media The energy was high on Thursday night at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. The influential Tokyo clothing brand A Bathing Ape (a.k.a. BAPE) celebrated their 25th anniversary with the BAPE HEADS SHOW starring Kid Cudi , Wiz Khalifa ,  Big Sean and more. BAPE has a lengthy history of combining fashion and music with their very first BAPE HEADS SHOW going down in 1997. The brand created the concert series as a way to show love to their fans and the artists who support them. Over the years, everyone from Kanye West to N.E.R.D. has hit the BAPE stage. The show on Thursday, December 6 was the first show to be held in New York City and it was produced by LTB Entertainment Inc. and CM Media. Lil Yachty opened up the show and he definitely set the tone right with his high energy songs. Fans across the Hulu Theater were out of their seats, rocking to bops like “NBAYOUNGBOAT” and his infectious hit with DRAM “Broccoli.”   Pusha T was next in line and he easily pushed through the seven track off his brief, yet undeniable album Daytona. “ Rap album of the year,” he repeated throughout his set. With a recent Best Rap Album Grammy nomination , you can’t call Push a liar. Once Push’s set was done, it was only right that he transitioned by bringing fellow GOOD Music artist Big Sean on the stage for the tracks “Mercy” and the “I Don’t Like” remix. From there, Pusha T left the stage and Big Sean breezed through hits like “Blessings” and “I Don’t Fu** With You.” In between songs, Sean talked about how BAPE helped jump-start his career by booking him for performances and he encouraged people to follow their dreams. After Sean’s inspirational words, it was all about the buzz and the party when Wiz Khalifa came out. Naturally, he encouraged his fans to light up throughout the show as he performed party tracks like “Gin & Drugs.” Then when it came to inspirational songs like “See You Again,” he encouraged his fans to sing along. “Ya sound good,” he said to the crowd as they swayed back and forth. The highlight of the night probably came from the show’s closer Kid Cudi . The 34-year-old hasn’t had an easy time in the spotlight, especially after revealing he suffered from depression back in 2016.  But now, after finding joy through the sadness , Cudi was all smiles as he performed to adoring fans at MSG. This was evident when he closed out with the song “Reborn” from his collaborative album with Kanye West Kids See Ghosts.  Cudi seemed to be a new man as he jumped into the crowd to sign posters and to show his fans love. All of this was the perfect way to celebrate BAPE’s 25th anniversary and the brand isn’t done celebrating. BAPE released a limited edition BAPE HEADS SHOW t-shirt that’s available at their New York and L.A. store, as well as US.BAPE.COM . A second limited-edition t-shirt is set to drop on Saturday, December 8 at the BAPE store in New York, located at 91 Greene Street.

Let It Gooo: 10 Classic Shows We’d Rather See On Netflix Besides Friends

More here:

Source: Jean-Paul Aussenard / Getty The power of the Internet has struck again, and this time, Netflix was it’s victim. False reports have been spreading all month long that the streaming service would be getting rid of Friends as of January 1, 2019. But as we all know, Friends fans will do anything to keep Chandler, Ross, Rachel and the rest of the crew on air as long as humanly possible. According to Entertainment Weekly , “A Change.org petition was even launched begging Netflix to keep the title, calling its removal “unfair, unacceptable and downright inhumane.” Although Netflix had no intention on getting rid of the popular show, they must’ve got wind of the backlash, because the following day it was reported that the streaming service paid $100 million to keep Friends throughout 2019. EW added, “Netflix bought the rights to Friends back in 2014 in a massive deal, shelling out $118 million for the rights for all 10 seasons of the former NBC series. Plus the service digitally remastered every episode for HD streaming. Netflix introduced Friends to a new generation where it became popular all over again as a dose of ’90s nostalgia.” But is it just us, or are there far better shows out there that would probably cost much less than Friends and bring in twice as many viewers? The service has also been criticized for getting rid of content that were predominantly geared toward people of color. @AlsWulf tweeted , “Netflix out here dropping amazing shows that have a positive impact on the minority community like The Get Down due to it being “too expensive”, but drop $100mil on Friends because a certain demographic complained.” @CandaceJeanne also brought up a great point. She wrote, “Dearest @Netflix: Think of all the projects from women, people of color, LGBTQ folks and more that you could fund with that additional $60 million. (I mean, I don’t know how much it costs to make a show but I’m gonna guess it’s at least more than one.)” If Netflix knew what was good for them, they’d listen to millenials and POC — a.k.a. their central audience —about what content folks would like to see on the service. So we put together a list, just in case they need some help. Hit the flip to check it out. And if we missed anything, share your thoughts on Twitter and Facebook.

The Rewind: Michael B Jordan Delivers a Knockout Performance But Is He Able To Reel In An Award?

Read the original post:

Source: The Rewind / Global Grind On this week’s episode of The Rewind DJ Franchise and Landon Levarius go in on Michael B. Jordan’s performance in CREED II. As we always do, The Rewind takes a look back at some of the most talked about trends in music, film and television and then catches you up on everything you may have missed. Then, once we’re done playing catch up, DJ Franchise and Landon Levarius hook you up with their own personal rating of the subject. We do the hard stuff so you don’t have to. Creed II hit U.S. theaters on November 21, 2018. The film is about Adonis Creed, a professional boxer who takes after his world famous father, Apollo Creed, that was unfortunately killed during a match with a Russian boxer by the name of Ivan Drago in the 80’s. Ivan Drago and his son, Viktar Drago, challenge Adonis Creed to a rematch. With the opportunity to avenge his father’s death Adonis struggles with going against the wishes of his mentor Rocky or going with his ego and defending his dead father’s honor. Creed II smashed the box office. So far it’s done over $85 million in sales and only continues to climb. It scored an 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, only being beaten out by Widows and Spider-Man: Enter the SpiderVerse. Creed II picks up from where its predecessor leaves off. Adonis is in a relationship, he’s a champion, he’s still being trained by the legendary Rocky Balboa and he’s navigating through life without his father. Many people who enjoy Rocky movies were also satisfied with both Creed I and II. The people loved the sequel but did our experts DJ Franchise and Landon Levarius? Also this week we’re discussing Amine’s new “Reel It In” remix featuring Gucci Mane. The track dropped on November 20th. The new track by Amine is a smooth one. The original version appears on the Portland artist’s ONEPOINTFIVE album. Both DJ Franchise and Landon Levarius can agree that the song is a hit with or without a feature but the addition of Gucci Mane worked perfectly. Gucci simply floated on the beat and it’s a great vibe overall. Landon and Franchise gave the track rave reviews but what will they officially rate the single? You’ll have to press play on the video above for the answer on that!
