On Monday night, it was announced that Idris Elba is the publication’s 2018 Sexiest Man Alive . On social media, the actor broke the great news to his fans. “Who’d have thought it! Thank you People & all the fans for naming me # SexiestManAlive . Don’t forget to grab your issue this week. I’m honored & thankful,” the award-winning actor wrote. But the 46-year-old also stressed what he believes is more important than this huge accomplishment. “But what’s even more important is your vote in the midterm elections. Your vote can make a difference! ” So what did the Thor actor think when he was told he was this year’s cover boy? According to him, total shock. “I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?’” Idria told PEOPLE, adding, “Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.” It’s hard to imagine a time when Idris never felt as sexy a he looks, but he told the publication that growing up, he definitely had his ugly duckling phase. “I was very tall and skinny,” says the 6’3″ star. “And my name was Idrissa Akuna Elba, okay? We now know what killed Rapper Mac Miller. The The L.A. County Coroner’s Office ruled is death an “accidental overdose.” The toxicology findings found that the rapper died from “mixed drug toxicity,” specifically fentanyl, coke, and alcohol. The amounts of each substance wasn’t enough to be deadly but the combination of all the substances was lethal. Miller was found by his assistant and was pronounced dead on the scene. There was a list of drugs found at his house like Xanax, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and generic Adderall. She put out “Thank You, Next” about all the lessons all her exes taught her. She mentioned her relationship with Detroit rapper Big Sean as well as her failed engagement to comedian Pete Davidson. North Carolina rapper Trappa MadeIt teamed up with YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Moneybagg Yo for the first single off his forthcoming EP, Already Rich . A fire collaboration, “Stormin” is all about making it out of the trenches, as the trio raps about beef, getting money, and hitting rock bottom. Today, they release their lyric video, premiered by Global Grind ; watch up top. For those of you who don’t know Trappa MadeIt, he is a rapper, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer who has been honing his craft for a really long time. At just 10 years old he learned how to play the piano and drums by watching other musicians at church. Trappa grew up fast, as he also started doing his best to support his family at a really young age. As a teen he’d earned the nickname “Trappa” from his old neighborhood, as people mocked him for selling anything he could to make ends meet and survive. Though he didn’t find it funny at the time, but can laugh at it in retrospect, Trappa recalls selling toilet paper and fortune cookies when times got rough . On the Baton Rouge side of things, you’ve most likely heard of Louisiana rapper NBA YoungBoy as he has definitely been making a name for himself as of late. Best known for his song “Outside Today,” YoungBoy released his debut studio album Until Death Call My Name back in April, boasting features from Offset , Lil Uzi Vert , Future , Lil Baby , and Birdman . In September, he quietly dropped his mixtape Decided and apart from one Trippie Redd feature, it was a solo venture. YoungBoy has also been under fire after the alleged assault of his ex-girlfriend Jania, not to mention his long history of trouble with the law. Moneybagg Yo is also doing his thing, as he just released his full-length debut Reset on November 3. The Memphis rapper showed out with a whole onslaught of features— J. Cole , YG , Kevin Gates , Jeremih , and more make appearances on the album. (Photo Credit: PR Photos) Georgia voters received a racist robocall targeting the state’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams , according to a report by CNN . The call features a voice impersonating Oprah Winfrey , who appeared on the campaign trail Thursday (Nov. 1) in support of Abrams. In about a 60-second pre-recorded message, racist and anti-Semitic rhetoric is used to mock the media titan and attack Abrams. The message was created by a white supremacist group called The Road to Power, CNN reported. The group is known for anti-Semitic video podcasts. It previously attacked Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum after he won the nomination in the August primary and again in October. According to the report, it is unknown how many voters received this call. (Creatas Images) A California high school teacher was arrested after video surfaced of him allegedly punching one of his students who used a racial slur, CBS Los Angeles reports . Marston Riley, 64, was released November 3 from the Los Angeles County Jail after posting $50,000 bail, according to reports. Cellphone video showed the student taunting Riley, calling him the N-word and cursing at him. Riley was clearly growing more frustrated and then he began repeatedly hitting the student, and at one point, using an object to hit him. The student was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries and released, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. According to Billboard the G.O.O.D. Music artist is slated to be the face of Wu-Tang Clan’s upcoming makeup line. Yes, you read that right. From the rugged lands of Shaolin will come a new limited edition lipstick collection courtesy of Milk Makeup and the Staten Island killer bees. Of course the first question on everyone’s mind is “How?” Well, the RZA has a simple explanation. “I have a great relationship with Milk’s founder, Rassi, and as New Yorkers, we’ve frequented some of the same circles. We spoke about fashion and the cosmetic world and I revealed that [Talani], my wife, has a cool perspective about makeup [because] in her youth, she was in the modeling circles,” said Wu-Tang’s RZA to Billboard. “She is a fan of Milk Makeup’s products and when [Rassi and I] talked about forming a collaboration that reflected our NYC sensibility and philosophy, makeup became the unique and unpredictable choice. The Milk Makeup collaboration was spearheaded by my wife.” Sounds about right. Naturally, the eight upcoming longwear lipsticks will bear the kind of labels that you’d expect from a Wu-Tang inspired collection. Each will be named after the I Ching Trigrams: Sacred, Fire, Chi, Flow, Frequency, Source, Cypher, and Ruckus. All lipsticks will come in different shades of pink and red and will be featured in high shine, nourishing matte and dimensional glitter. Known for having completely vegan products, Milk is taking their collaboration with the Wu to the next level and including some Chinese-inspired ingredients such as sacred lotus water, cherry blossom, ginseng, bamboo shoots, and Chinese red dates that will help protect, hydrate, and soothe the lips upon application. Adding to the lipstick’s mystique will be the cases it will come in as they’ll be encased in solid black bullets, which is a stark contrast to Milk’s typical white, gray, and clear packaging. When you open up the bullet, a gold dragon wraps around the stick. The outer packaging is also solid black, and features the Wu-Tang “W,” as well as a new exclusive symbol that blends Milk’s logo with the Chinese symbol for beauty. Source: Splash / Splash News Angela Simmons is mourning the sudden loss of her ex-fiance and son’s father. Yesterday (Nov. 3), Sutton Tennyson was shot and killed in his home in Atlanta. Tennyson would have been 38 on Nov. 5. Although it was initially reported to be a home invasion, Tennyson was shot while in his garage after getting into an argument with an unidentified man. CBS 46 reports he was shot multiple times in the garage of his home in SW Atlanta, GA. The gunman fled the scene. Simmons, who was once engaged to Tennyson (they called off the pending nuptials in 2017), took to Instagram to honor her son’s father and namesake. “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift . I’m hurting . I’m numb. Thank you for the out pouring of love everyone . I cant believe I’m even saying Rest In Peace Sutton . I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise ,” she wrote as the caption to a series of photos of their family. Rest in power.

Cynthia, Kandi, Porsha, and Nene are back—and so is Eva, who officially got her peach. Eva is in wedding planning mode, Kandi is gallivanting in LA with Xscape, busy winning ASCAP Awards, Cynthia has a new boyfriend who lives in LA (the Fox News sportscaster, Mike Hill) and Porsha got a new man too. We all know by now that Porsha is engaged , but we get to watch it play out this season. In case you didn’t know, her man is Dennis McKinley, an entrepreneur who owns several lounges and the Original Hot Dog Factory . It’s quite clear that he’s loaded and he’s taking Porsha ring shopping. They’re going on a trip to Miami for Porsha’s birthday. Nene and Gregg are dealing with Gregg having stage 3 colon cancer. Nene is obviously a wreck but she’s standing by her hubby. Gregg is committed to fighting the good fight post surgery and so far so good but as a lot of us know, when it comes to cancer, they’re taking things day by day. In happier news, Nene and Porsha’s friendship is back in a good place. Nene helps Porsha find some clothes for her birthday trip, and Porsha does the most to make Nene laugh. It’s cute. Porsha then learns that Nene will be in Miami at the same time doing a comedy show so you know what that means, right? Girls trip! Actually, it’s going to be a surprise girls trip. Porsha calls the girls, even Kandi and invites them down with the intention of surprising Nene. Even Marlo is coming. But as we all know, things are still awkward between Porsha and Kandi and Porsha and Marlo also don’t get along. We’ll see how these dramaful (yes, dramaful) events start to unfold next week. Kenya isn’t returning, but she and her husband recently welcomed a healthy baby girl to the world. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing some of this in cameo appearances. Speaking of baby bumps, hopefully, we’ll be seeing Shamea back on the show (they really need to give her a peach, but whatevs) and of course, we’ll be introduced to newbie satellite friends Shomari DeVoe and Tanya Sam.
