The Florida rapper was arrested at Tampa Airport after a gun was found on his carry-on luggage. Reports TMZ : Law enforcement sources tell us the rapper was getting a bag scanned Wednesday morning at Tampa International Airport before getting onto a Delta flight when TSA agents discovered a Glock 43 in one of his bags, as well as a fully-loaded magazine lying beside it. We’re told Plies had no permit for the gun, and was arrested by airport police for carrying a concealed weapon — a felony. We’re told he’s currently in custody at Tampa International … and will be transferred to Hillsborough County Jail. Reportedly, Plies is claiming he is the owner of the gun, but he grabbed the wrong bag before heading to the airport. Hopefully, his lawyer game is sharp. — Photo: Getty

Diesel recently announced that Nicki would be one of the faces for its Autumn/Winter 2018 “hate couture” campaign used to combat cyberbullying. Different stars, including Nicki, Gucci Mane , actress Bella Thorne and model Jonathan Bellini have been recruited for the campaign. In a video Diesel posted to their social media, the most hateful messages these stars have received on social media are etched into the design of their Diesel apparel. Thus Nicki’s shirt reads “The Bad Guy” (It’s still up for debate if people actually call her this or if she just gave herself the name herself). You don’t make online hate disappear by hiding it. Though the campaign seems to have good intentions, folks across the Internet couldn’t help but notice a tiny issue in the selection of stars. Nicki Minaj has been accused of some major bullying. The most notorious instance came when cultural critic and Twitter user Wanna Thompson critiqued the subject matters in Nicki Minaj’s music a few months back. Instead of starting a conversation on Twitter like Wanna had hoped, an army of Nicki-crazed Barbz came after Wanna like she was the village plague. “I wouldn’t wish this on my worse enemy,” Thompson told The New York Times back in July. After Nicki fans came for Wanna’s life via social media, emails and even phone calls, Nicki herself contacted Wanna and it wasn’t pretty. She slid in Wanna’s DMs and called her everything but a child of God. “Eat a di** you hating ass h*” and “ugly ass” were just a few of the words Nicki aimed at Wanna. Sounds like a bully, no? When Wanna heard the news of Nicki’s Diesel campaign, she was just as confused. @DIESEL is making a mockery out of cyber-bullying. In an Instagram post, she accused Nicki of lying on her and telling other artist not to work with her. Though it’s not certain that Cardi’s accusations are true, one has to ask what would provoke a woman enough to send her shoe flying across a fashion event. Nicki even gave Travis Scott a “Ho* Ni**a of the Week” award on her Queen radio show when she was critiquing his record sales and number one spot on the charts. Despite all this controversy, of course the Barbz still weren’t bothered… Nicki Minaj is a marketing genius! Heaven’s Gate, the surviving members of the group in question, is pursuing legal action after they say the rapper used their symbol for the cover art of his album and single. Page Six reports : A month after surviving members of the cult slammed the rapper, 24, for the purported Heaven’s Gate-inspired cover of his upcoming album, “Eternal Atake,” the artwork for Uzi’s new single features another reference to the group. Released early Tuesday morning, the artwork for “New Patek” features the rapper reaching through a keyhole — a symbol associated with the infamous suicide cult and featured prominently in its logo. When reached for comment by Page Six, the Telah Foundation, which is made up of surviving Heaven’s Gate members who were left behind to answer media inquiries about the cult, explained that their lawyers have been in touch with the rapper. The outlet adds that officials from the Telah Foundation have employed a legal team to address the use of the logo and when pressed by Page Six , they stated hopes that the parties can come to a mutual understanding. Heaven’s Gate was a religious cult began in 1974 by Marshall Applewhite and led along with Bonnie Nettles. The group believed that their human existence was coming to an end and to rise to the next level, they would need to shade their earthly bodies in order to be transported into a spacecraft where they would live in total bliss free of “mammalian” tendencies. After Hurricane Florence devastated the Carolinas over the weekend, NBA legend Michael Jordan explained why he felt it was necessary for him to donate $2 million to relief efforts. “You gotta take care of home,” he told the Charlotte Observer . “You don’t want to see any of that anywhere, but when it’s home, that’s tough to swallow.” Jordan, who grew up in Wilmington, NC as a child before moving on to play at North Carolina and later the NBA said that the heavy rains in both North and South Carolina brought back some memories. Kept thinking about all those places I grew up going to,” Jordan said. “And the deaths – it was so sad about the babies. You don’t want to see any of that anywhere, but when it’s home, that’s tough to swallow.” Jordan’s donation comes in two parts, first a donation of $1 million to the American Red Cross and a donation of $1 million to the Foundation for the Carolinas Florence Response Fund. The Charlotte Hornets, the team where Jordan is the owner have also launched relief efforts and are set to be packing thousands of disaster food boxes for those affected. Jordan hopes that the dual donation will show both the short and long-term impact that Hurricane Florence will have on the region. “People need to understand this will not be a week-long process. This is going to have a huge disruption on people’s lives – not for 10 days, but for years,” Jordan said. On Monday, September 17 the Louisiana native apparently caught his two sons in a very precarious situation. While working at his home studio in the wee hours of the morning he heard a woman’s voice; problem is he had not invited a lady friend over. Upon further inspection he found his two teenage boys in bed with a female and another boy. To their credit they were still clothed but it definitely drew the ire of their father. Sweet Jones Jr. immediately brought them over to his kitchen area for a scolding that was done live on Instagram. The stream was polarizing to say the least; thus some applauded him and others felt it was too excessive. Naturally TMZ caught wind of the incident and invited Webbie to defend his actions. In short he had no remorse for reading the kids the riot act. When asked what punishment he inflicted on them he made it clear that privacy is out the door; literally. “I ripped the doors off the room. They don’t have doors no more” he shared. “I don’t know what their parents did to them but I know my kids we still have more punishments to go across”. The episode begins with Brooke giving Teairra the tea about Akbar, and it’s really just a memo from Captain Obvious. Basically, TT got played. Akbar is (allegedly) known for taking advantage of young women, especially famous or wannabe famous ones who are in vulnerable situations like Teairra, for the sake of his own fame. All her rehab drama was in #TheBlogs so he may have seen her as an easy target. He should have established his more serious side during another opportunity. He definitely doesn’t see it that way though. Obviously, they get together to talk about this and have a hostile discussion. She says she’ll throw him the gig as a bone because she’s not doing it since she’s going to London with Bridget Kelly (Bridget Kelly invited a bunch of the Angry Birds on a girls trip). They start arguing back and forth some more but the real tea is spilled when he says everyone knows that she and A1 have been (allegedly) sleeping with each other. via GIPHY The episode winds down with Moniece and Roccstar in the studio. Basically, they know each other from back in the day and Moniece wanted to get back to recording so of course, Roccstar the snake saw this as the prime opportunity. via GIPHY Brooke, who is supposed to be Moniece’s friend, offers to come for moral support. What she actually does is take over the session, singing Moniece’s lines and ish, because, Brooke is thirsty like that. Anyway, Moniece struggles a bit since it has been a while and her vocals are rusty and she’s nervous, so Brooke and Roccstar go in the booth to listen to the song and Brooke tells Roccstar that she wants to “help Moniece catch a vibe.” We all know that’s code for outshining her on the song, especially when Brooke, in her confessional, says it looks like Roccstar got himself into another Amber Diamond situation, and we all know how awful that was. Moniece senses what’s about to happen and starts freaking out. She nearly passes out and it’s probably a panic attack but you know they have to drag this out so the medics come through to tend to Moniece while Roccstar and Brooke are still in the booth listening to the whole drama go down and basically trashing Moniece. Roccstar actually starts laughing about this situation and calls it that Moniece probably freaked out because she was triggered by what was about to happen with Brooke and thought a panic attack would shut everything down. He didn’t even think Moniece actually would go to the hospital but she does. Meanwhile, Brooke and Roccstar stay behind so that Brooke can record Moniece’s record. via GIPHY Next, we get back to the A1 and Lyrica drama and then there’s the girls trip.
