Mac Miller Announces ‘The Swimming Tour,’ Kicking Off This Fall With Thundercat & J.I.D.

Source: Josh Brasted / Getty Mac Miller is returning to the stage for his Swimming Tour, which will feature guest appearances from  Thundercat  and  J.I.D. Miller shared the official announcement on Monday afternoon via Instagram; The Swimming Tour is set to kick off this fall in conjunction with Live Nation. The tour starts on October 27 in San Francisco and will travel through 26 different cities in North America before concluding on December 10th in Vancouver. The news of the tour comes just a few days after Mac unveiled the track list for his forthcoming fifth studio album,  Swimming . While the project doesn’t appear to consist of any guest features, his future tour-mate J.I.D is listed a co-writer for one of the album’s singles “Self Care.” Fans hoping to get their hands on tickets can grab them once they go on sale beginning Tuesday, July 24th, at 10 AM  here . Tickets will go on sale to the general public starting July 27th at the same time. Check out the Swimming Tour dates below. Police searched his 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera and found three guns, over $107,000 in cash and less than one ounce of marijuana.     According to jail records, Offset, whose real name is, Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was charged with making an improper lane change, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a weapon during a crime and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. His 27-year old bodyguard, who was in the passenger seat of the car, was also charged with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession of a weapon during a crime. Bey’s seventh album will basically be “a collection of music videos, which she is planning to shoot at the ruins of the Colosseum in Rome,” according to the report. Netflix apparently made a seven-figure deal for Lemonade but contractual obligations between HBO and TIDAL made it impossible. The source said: “Beyoncé has been hard at work on her next solo album and it is shaping up well. She wants it to be even more ground-breaking and visually impressive than Lemonade , which is why she is scouting out locations which will really wow people.

According to Variety , British production company Working Title is turning Cats into a full-fledged film directed by Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper ( The King’s Speech ). Lee Hall of Billy Elliot fame will pen the screenplay while the cast will include Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, James Corden and the iconic stage and film actor Ian McKellen.    It’s definitely an interesting choice to put Jennifer and Taylor in a musical together, let alone Cats . The musical is based on a book of children’s poems by T.S. Eliot and tells the story of street “Jellicle cats” hoping to reach the “Heaviside layer” (an analogy for the afterlife). The musical is possibly most famous for the showstopper song “Memory” sung by the character Grizabella. …of course Jennifer Hudson will be playing Grizabella.   It’s yet to be known who the other actors will be playing. Shooting is supposed to start in the U.K. come November. With Jennifer’s voice…   Taylor’s fanbase…   And James Corden not being shy on the stage…   Or in cars…   The movie could definitely be a hit. We’ll keep you posted as a release date arrives!

The television host and media maven once again shared her tale of being a functioning cocaine addict and defying the odds towards success. ET exclusively reports : “I was a functioning addict though,” she shared. “I would report to work on time and I walked in and all of my coworkers, and including my bosses, would know but instead of firing me, you see, I would grab my headphones and arrogantly walk into the studio and dare them fire me because I was making ratings.” Williams also admitted during the interview that maintaining her wild lifestyle while also getting to work on time every day took work. “[A] functioning addict has several alarm clocks, you’re organized,” she said. “It’s a miracle I was able to stop.” The interview also revealed Williams’ involvement with The Hunter Foundation for the “Be Here” campaign that aims to tackle substance abuse and addiction concerns. — Photo: WENN
