A few months after getting confirmation that Marvel’s Captain Marvel will be set in the 1990’s, word is spreading that DC’s sequel to Wonder Woman will be taking place in 1984. How do we know this you ask? Warner Bros. has announced that the upcoming movie is titled Wonder Woman 1984 . Starring Gal Gadot as the Amazon with the gold lasso, Wonder Woman 1984 will be set in the era that saw America elect our first TV President (a bad omen for the future), introduced us to Microsoft Windows, and bore the greatest generation of babies to date. Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is once again going to be at the helm which will feature Wonder Woman taking on one of her deadliest foes, The Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) and will also feature the return of her love interest Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). No other details have been provided as to what the dealio will be or how things will be fast forwarded a few decades from the original, but Wonder Woman 1984 seems bound to astound and continue to be the brightest star in the dark as Batman’s cape DCU. So much so, we can’t remember the last time we discussed the Bushwick rapper’s actual “music.” Anyway, taking a page straight out of 50 Cent’s playbook, while in Chicago, Tekashi recently took Chief Keef’s baby mama shopping at Gucci. Yes, you read that correctly. Tekashi just upped the beef he has cooking with Sosa exponentially. We’ll let TMZ explain the sordid details: Tekashi69 is adding more fuel to the fire in his war with fellow rapper Chief Keef, this time by taking Keef’s baby mama, Slim Danger, out on a $75k shopping spree at Gucci for her birthday. Tekashi posted a clip at the Gucci store in NYC with stacks in his hand and Slim, who calls out Keef as a deadbeat dad in the clip. “If you don’t know how to take care of your girl, n***as gonna take care of her for you,” 6ix9ine chimes in. He later copped a feel too. We’re told the two happened to run into one another while Slim was in town to celebrate her bday. She’s cool with Tekashi’s Tr3way family, so Tekashi took her shopping to celebrate. One, if your baby mama’s name is “Slim Danger,” struggle is in your future for at least 18 years. In a new interview, the Queens superstar is happily single and says that the lack of romance in her life has allowed her to focus on her upcoming album, Queen . In a wide-ranging cover-story interview with ELLE , the 35-year-old artist dished on a lot of topics and considered herself an exhibitionist while grappling with what that means to her millions of adoring fans. Further, the interview, which flips between traditional Q&A to free-flowing prose, proves that Minaj is still trying to find herself despite the fame and with the weight of being an iconic sex symbol while still fighting for respect in a field that may not see her worth as a lyricist. ELLE writes: Nicki is now in her midthirties, and from the age of 15 until just last fall, she has always had a serious boyfriend. “Six years, twelve years, three, four,” she says. Over time, this came to have consequences she didn’t anticipate. “I remember feeling like I could do anything at one time in my life,” she says, “and somewhere along the line, I just started second guessing myself, for whatever reason.” That all ended when she started learning how to sleep alone. “As soon as I realized that I could actually live and breathe, and eat and sleep, and walk and talk without having a boyfriend, something clicked in me.” “Becoming single,” she goes on, “was one of the things that made me feel strong and powerful. The fact that I am a young woman who doesn’t need a man for money. I don’t need a man for a job. I’ve never had to f*ck for beats. I’ve never had to f*ck for a record deal. Resident Evil fans are salivating like the zombies that haunted the halls of the Spencer Mansion after getting the first glimpse of the remake of Resident Evil 2 . Now we got actual gameplay footage showing the 20-year-old reimagined classic in action. Oh, this game looks scary good. The developers revealed during the gameplay demo at PlayStation E3 booth that Resident Evil 2 isn’t just a remake, but it’s a whole new game they built off the foundation of the original. The game is a combination of the old and the new and will utilize Resident Evil 4’s over-the-shoulder style, but that’s where it stops. Unlike RE4, RE2 remake is not a full-on action game, bullets will be scarce, the zombies and other dangerous bio-organic weapons are a lot tougher to kill, health items few and far between which helps keep this game true to its survival horror roots. Based on what is shown in this gameplay demo, the game is indeed challenging as the developers themselves are struggling to survive from the moment they begin playing. Another big reveal was the fact this game runs on the same engine that powered the critically acclaimed Resident Evil VII . Those who remember playing the original RE2 would do themselves justice by forgetting whatever knowledge they may still have of the original’s layout while playing this new version. Everything is different, and the scares you remembered waiting for you in certain corners have now been placed somewhere else. Resident Evil 2 looks like a sure winner, and it is clear the developers took their time in crafting this game together to give fans the experience they so desperately wanted in the remake. Draymond Green , gleefully playing the heel role, took what appeared to be a shot at LeBron James by rocking a t-shirt that seemingly referenced an Instagram post from the Cavs captain. During the parade in Oakland, California on Tuesday (June 12), Green sported a shirt that featured a play on the popular Arthur balled-up fist meme that James posted back in November of last year with the caption “Mood.” In Green’s version, the Black t-shirt featured the same fist with gold lettering but the hand is seen sporting three NBA championship rings to signify the Warriors’ three rings. Green has taken shots after a Warriors win in times past, including last year when he wore the “Quickie” shirt styled in the lettering used for the Cavaliers’ Quicken Loans Center. On Tuesday, the animal was removed from the roof of an office block in St. Paul, Minnesota. But instead of laying low and going home, the raccoon still needed to get their skyscraper fix. So they went to a neighboring building, the UBS tower, which happens to be one of the tallest buildings in the city. The raccoon started climbing… My picture from the 13th floor around noon.
