Source: Allen Berezovsky / Getty Kanye West had people’s emotions ALL over the place this week ever since he returned to Twitter. His tweets have some people wondering if he’s got a serious problem, or if he’s just being regular old Kanye. For now, I’m just going to take the easy route and say it’s his Gemini-ness coming out…and boy is it coming out STRONG. spread love — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 25, 2018 I’m nice at ping pong — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 25, 2018 let’s be like water — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 25, 2018 See what I mean? Now I love my Gemini’s, but those flip sides can put you on an emotional roller coaster if you’re not careful. In one minute, Kanye will take you on the mountain high of a new album release date , and in another minute, he’ll dip you to the valley lows of Trump -land where “Make America Great” hats are now fashionable. A lot of people are mad over Kanyes hat. pic.twitter.com/WAL821aqqV — 24/7 HipHop News (@BenjaminEnfield) April 25, 2018 My soul is DRAINED. Kanye made so many proclamations on Wednesday alone, we thought we’d start collecting everything he’s said, just so you can keep up. In the words of Mo’Nique , “be brave enough” to swipe right for Kanye’s stand-out tweets, and “make it make sense!”

Watch: Chris Rock Talks About Getting “Uncle-Zoned” By Rihanna

Source: Kevin Winter / Getty It seems like every male celebrity in the world has their own story about getting curved by Rihanna –that’s just the kind of stuff that happens when you’re as sought after as Rih Rih is. Chris Rock was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, alongside fellow legendary comedian Adam Sandler . The two were there to discuss their respective comedy specials on Netflix, and at the start of their interview, Rock re-tells a hilarious story from his Tambourine special and yes, it’s about Rihanna. The bad gal “uncle-zoned” Chris Rock and crushed his soul by looking at him like one of her aunts, with no sexual attraction what-so-ever. Peep Rock telling the story of Rihanna’s curve game in the video below, it’s clear that he’s still not over the hurt. We don’t blame him.

Imma Let You Finish, But: LL Cool J Says He Was The First To Do This — Not J. Cole

Read more from the original source:

Source: Catherine McGann / Getty LL Cool J has been in the game for many generations, so it’s understandable why he would be offended when fake news gets put into the hip hop-sphere.   Fans have been running with this “ J. Cole is the first rapper to go platinum without features” accolade since 2014 — but Uncle L hopped on Twitter to set the record straight. My first album went platinum with no features in 1985… enough !!! — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 My album went platinum in 1985 with no features. It’s the truth. Not hate. Who would have thought in 2018 it would be offensive to say that. — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 You know the social media trolls wasted no time calling LL a hater — but why can’t an OG share his resume with uninformed youngins’? You know you’re a hater when someone talking about their track record/resume and accomplishments makes you say some dumb Sh!t. especially when they ain’t talking to you !!!! — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 Lames out here always lookin for hate. Always assuming The OGs hating on young cats. That ain’t my style. I get to the bag. — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 We Launched the DefJam label in 84!! The label ended up doing pretty good. Anyone offended by that?!?! — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 Oh, he also let us know that he invented the term G.O.A.T. I “literally” introduced the term GOAT to hiphop with this album!!!!!! Yes LLCOOLJ started this term in Hiphop !!! In the year 2000!!! It’s the truth don’t be offended!!! I like the other GOATS!!!! pic.twitter.com/gbcVC6dbXj — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 But LL stayed true to his ‘never let them see you sweat’ form and made it clear that he supports the young folks — just respect the history of the game. I’m happy to see the new G’s out winning and building their careers. I started #RocktheBellsSXM so the fans that prefer that classic OG sh!t. Can hear what they want. When I tweet about music I’m talking to them “ONLY” this is between LLCOOLJ and classic hiphop fans. — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 For all you New G’s that aren’t haters. Just know LL has love for you and I wish you nothing but the best. I mean that from the heart. I’m not in your lane and I’m not interested in getting in your lane.. We’re doing strictly Classic over here. It’s all love — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018   Unlike most celebs, he didn’t take the trolls to seriously. Uncle L managed to find the humor in the shadiness: I wore the very first pair of Jordan’s on my very first album. Im talkin when Jordan was a rookie. I’m not hating on sneaker heads. Don’t get offended I like sneakers!!!! pic.twitter.com/zKsGgnkwD5 — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 I Rocked Heavy ice in the early 80’s and 90s !!! I like people who wear diamonds !! Don’t be offended!! pic.twitter.com/BeiaDFB6eJ — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018   All in all, there’s no beef between LL Cool J and J. Cole: Ps. I love the youngin J cole. So you haters need to cut out that dumb Sh!t.. — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 24, 2018 So cut it! And let us vibe out to KOD, drama free. Also, catch LL’s “Rock The Bells” Radio. #ForTheCulture . pic.twitter.com/ndVMbNqZdQ — LLCOOLJ. (@llcoolj) April 13, 2018 For the culture. via GIPHY

See the article here:

Source: Taylor Hill / Getty Desus Nice and The Kid Mero are completely dominating the late night game right now, and they’ve been on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon five times just in the last year. This week, the pair made their way to Late Night With Seth Meyers for an interview, where they talked about how dope it felt to sell out a show at The Apollo–along with how different it is to do a show live versus recording their podcast, Bodega Boys. Along with the success of their own late night show and their recent 5 borough tour, the Bronx natives also discuss what it’s like having different “family members” come out of the woodwork every time they become more successful. And as always, the boys give their extremely spicy hot takes about politics.

True Or Troll? This Is How Candace Owens Got Kanye’s Co-Sign

Read the original post:

Source: Prince Williams / Getty Kanye West has new music coming and he’s re-activated his Twitter account. One tweet, sent up Saturday, had social media debating all weekend: “I love the way Candace Owens thinks,” typed Ye, sending Twitter and other platforms into a frenzy. I love the way Candace Owens thinks — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 21, 2018 Owens is a conservative social media personality and holds the title of communications director at Turning Point USA. In June, she is scheduled to speak at TPUSA’s Young Women’s Leadership Conference in Dallas alongside Tomi Lahren and other right-wingers. I’m freaking out. @kanyewest ….please take a meeting with me. I tell every single person that everything that I have been inspired to do, was written in your music. I am my own biggest fan, because you made it okay. I need you to help wake up the black community. https://t.co/Uz1nB9K0Oz — Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) April 21, 2018 Owens was extremely grateful for the shout-out, tweeting, “I’m freaking out. @kanyewest ….please take a meeting with me. I tell every single person that everything that I have been inspired to do, was written in your music. I am my own biggest fan, because you made it okay. I need you to help wake up the black community.” West’s seven simple words also triggered countless stories, posts and comments about Owens. While West never endorsed “what” Owens thinks, just complimenting “the way” she does seems to have struck some chords. Owens’ political views were widely summed-up as “far-right,” but she called out Perez Hilton , Shaun King , Complex and Twitter for misrepresenting her. When @PerezHilton @TomArnold and @ShaunKing , 3 white men, rush to viciously attack the freedom of two black people who refuse to be pawns to a leftist ideology—it should ring as a wake up call to the world about who the real racists are. None of you white men own my blackness. — Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) April 22, 2018 Owens tweeted, “When @PerezHilton @TomArnold and @ShaunKing, 3 white men, rush to viciously attack the freedom of two black people who refuse to be pawns to a leftist ideology—it should ring as a wake up call to the world about who the real racists are. None of you white men own my blackness.” She continued in another tweet, “leftists rush to smear me as far-right & anti-LGBT. So what terrified them? The truth did. The left is losing control of their blacks. Ready to be awakened? Watch the truth about my journey off the plantation,” she said before linking to another interview. Kanye West tweets 7 words and leftists rush to smear me as far-right & anti-LGBT. At the end of the day, I’ve always been conservative. I’m pretty rational. I’m very fact-based. I will always value economics over social issues. I understand that that should take a backseat, honestly. You don’t wanna become a third-world country.” When asked how she would address social issues once economics are handled, she said: “I support gay marriage. I’m not really sure about abortion. I don’t really have a position on that just yet. I think through that a lot.” Owens also went on Fox News Sunday morning to leverage the life-changing mention from Yeezus. She said, “The left wants to strap black people to this idea that they are victims – they want black people to focus on their past rather than their future.” . @RealCandaceO : The left wants to strap black people to this idea that they are victims – they want black people to focus on their past rather than their future pic.twitter.com/IWW0NyF0hU — FOX & friends (@foxandfriends) April 22, 2018 In her current pinned tweet, Owens clarifies that she is not “far-right,” as the Twitter moment circulating describes her. Far right? Allow me to clarify: I believe the black community can do it without hand-outs. I believe the Democrats have strapped us to our past to prevent us from our futures. And I won’t stop fighting until all black Americans see that. I’m not far right—I’m free. pic.twitter.com/wtqCuYPtM2 — Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) April 21, 2018 She wrote, “Far-right? Allow me to clarify: I believe the black community can do it without hand-outs. I believe the Democrats have strapped us to our past to prevent us from our futures. And I won’t stop fighting until all black Americans see that.” Owens insists, “I’m not far right—I’m free.” Meanwhile, West appears to have doubled-down on his support of Owens with three tweets today, saying “Self-victimization is a disease,” “Constantly bringing up the past keeps you stuck there,” and “The thought police want to suppress freedom of thought.” self victimization is a disease — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 22, 2018 Constantly bringing up the past keeps you stuck there — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 22, 2018 The thought police want to suppress freedom of thought — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) April 22, 2018
