Well, Pastor Gray admitted to the affair, but not exactly what we all thought went down during an appearance on The Real. According to the servant of the Lord, he had an “emotional affair” when began to confide in a woman outside of his wife about their marriage. And said he was in the woman’s presence once. In case you missed it, Aventer blamed the devil for sending a “strange woman” into her husband’s life with whom, he allegedly had an affair during a sermon at their Relentless Church in Texas. “And then I prayed for them and him and then the devil loses,” she said condemning evil spirits for her husband’s infidelities. “Because what’s not going to happen is you tell me that I’m going to lose my purpose because someone whispered to a ’16-year-old John’. The devil is a lie. I’m standing with my husband, and you can go on back to the pits of hell where you came from.” However, Pastor Gray is adamant he didn’t sleep or gather a child with anyone else. Sounds fishy, but who knows with this couple. They seem to do everything for theatrics. Hopefully they’re in a better place and Gray doesn’t confide with anyone else.

With her lauded album Laila’s Wisdom under her belt, along with celebrated mixtapes and memorable features with folks like Kendrick Lamar , Rapsody is now looking to take on other endeavors. This definitely doesn’t mean she’s quitting the rap game. Instead, she hopes to exercise more aspects of her creative side. Rapsody stopped by Global Grind on International Women’s Day to discuss some of these burgeoning interests: “I have so many other loves,” Rapsody said. “Like I was a big reader as a kid. I went to the library all the time, so for that, I want to write children’s books.” Rapsody also has the dramatic arts on her mind: “I’d love to get into acting, but I want to do it right. You know I’ve been sent several scripts, but I told my agent to hold off because I really want to take classes and really learn about the art of acting. Like I would want somebody trying to enter the hip hop world to be respectful of the culture and learn the art of M.C.ing, I want to learn how to be a great actor.” The 36-year-old listed Cicely Tyson and Phylicia Rashad as her biggest influences: “If I can have the chance to share a screen with them. Even if I was the person who came in and put the milk on the table. Just to be in that space and just to have the opportunity to gain the knowledge and wisdom because they’ve been in the arts forever.” Inspirational Black women have been a common theme in Rapsody’s career. Although she’s listed people like Jay-Z as a major influence on her rhyming, women like Ms. Lauryn Hill set a standard right when Rapsody needed it. Since Hill’s seminal work The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, she hasn’t acquired the best reputation when it comes to showing up on time for shows or even creating a good relationship with certain band mates ( according to Robert Glasper ). However, Rapsody says there’s always more to an artist than what’s put into the public: “Lauryn runs her business the way Lauryn wants to run her business,” Rapsody said, “It’s two sides to every story. Robert told his, Lauryn told hers. It’s none of my business. It’s not my place to critique as far as her shows or her lateness.” Rapsody also doesn’t let the tough talk diminish Ms. Hill’s impact on her life: “You know, for me, I always say Lauryn was on time when we needed her. When I needed Lauryn in ’98 and ’96, she was on time, so to me, she’s allowed to be late. I think the industry has been trying to run her for her life, so for her to take control of what she wants to do and do it her way, I applaud her on that.” Rapsody went on to detail the various reasons Hill could be late to a show: “You know as a mother, putting your children first, I’m never mad at that. You gotta be late because you got something to do with your kids, then do that. You know at this point, if you know she’s going to be late and you ain’t with it, then don’t buy the ticket. If you decide to go, take some Uno cards just in case. I’m just in the business of appreciating Lauryn while she’s here.” Just like Ms. Hill set a blueprint for many women to come, Rapsody hopes to follow that same path with music, the arts and even fashion one day: “I definitely want to do my own clothing line at some point. Maybe like some tomboy feminine-type style ’cause women that are tomboys are sexy too, so I want to create a space for that.” If Cicely Tyson, Phylicia Rashad and Ms. Hill have taught us anything, it’s that there’s always space.

Along with “Game of Thrones” and Meg Thee Stallion’s fine *ss , all we saw on our timeline were clips of B2K, Mario, and Pretty Ricky taking us to early ’00s heaven. The tour was announced at the end of last year and has been trending ever since, with Omarion’s company telling Billboard “We are excited to be a part of what will undeniably be a nostalgic and electrifying performance that will awaken cherished memories and create new, indelible ones for the next generation. While admiring their solo successes, the fans have consistently demanded a B2K reunion and, with the determination of an incredibly talented team, that dream is now a reality.” Prior to hitting the stage, Mario also opened up about how exciting it was going to be to perform. “When I think about it, for me, it’s more exciting for me to get to see the fans,” he said . “I’m excited about the fans! I’m excited to see how excited they are. It’s a weird time for R&B right now and I think that although R&B is making a comeback right now, this is an exciting moment for R&B fans who remember the Scream Tour. I’m also excited to get back out there and introduce some new music.” Well, the fellas definitely delivered on their promise of excitement and nostalgia. Source: Cindy Ord / Getty Deion Sanders is currently in a legal tussle with some moving companies he claims damaged some priceless items along with losing a whole grand piano. The Blast reports : According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Sanders filed a lawsuit against North Texas Movers, Officer Interiors Group and Bekins A-1 Movers. Sanders says he hired Bekins A-1 Movers to move his valuable contents — including priceless heirlooms and collectible items of both “significant intrinsic, personal value to Mr. Sanders” worth in excess of $1 million — from his Texas mansion to storage. Sanders says he paid them handsomely to keep his “irreplaceable pieces” safe. He says in November 2018, he learned that the facility where his property was stored had been sold off to a third-party company, named Office Interiors Group. Sanders went the following month to get answers and claims he saw his stuff was being improperly stored and claimed that some items were broken and that some crates were missing. The outlet adds that Sanders believes his items were hauled off to another location and was put off the path by the company owners. After some haggling, Sanders gained access to the facility where he discovered some of his items were damaged and missing. A judge granted a temporary restraining order against the company that bars them from moving any other items. Sounds like the jig to us. — Photo: Getty

On Friday (March 8), Ms. Wallace reopened the Notoriouss clothing store just across the block from its original location. CBS News reports : T’yanna Wallace, the daughter of Christopher Wallace, better known as the rapper Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls, is holding a grand opening for the reopening of her Notoriouss Clothing store on Friday. The store is located in Brooklyn, her and her father’s home borough. Wallace’s initial store opened at 512 Atlantic Ave. in Brooklyn in Dec. 2017, the store is moving across the street. Wallace told News 12 in 2017 that she wanted the store to be a “flagship store for streetwear and is heavily inspired by New York and Brooklyn hip hop culture.” Wallace’s father was shot and killed on March 9, 1997 in Los Angeles, thus the timing of the reopening appears to be in tribute. As several women came forward in the documentary to describe how they were controlled and abused by Kelly , fans and critics of the accused pedophile began arguing online about whether or not the world really needed to #MuteRKelly. Obviously, the answer is YES…but unreasonable stans argued they could “separate the art from the artist” …that the man has nothing to do with the music. How? Supporting the art literally puts money in the artist’s pocket. Not to mention, R. Kelly alluded to his abuse of young Black girls all throughout the music he wrote from himself and others. Now music lovers are having the same “art vs. artist” argument after watching Leaving Neverland , the agonizing documentary about the alleged abuse two boys faced at the hands of the late Michael Jackson . Should we mute MJ? Stevie Wonder doesn’t seem to think so… “He’s died, he’s dead. Hopefully, we can continue the legacy of inspiration he has given a lot of kids and a lot of people,” he told TMZ .
