Real Housewives’ star Ramona Singer, Basketball Wives’ Jennifer Williams and music exec Robert “Don Pooh” Cummins and Bad Boy’s Phil Robinson were among the guests who attended Philippe Chow’s anniversary party Jan. 12 at the eatery’s space in NYC. Party guests dined on hors d’oeuvre’s like chicken satay, green prawns and filet mignon in black bean sauce, prepared by chef Philippe Chow for the private fete. Nicole Ferrell, of WE TV’s Ex-Isle, was spotted busting a move on the dance floor, while Bad Boy manager Phil Robinson flicked it up with Jennifer Williams. 50 Cent was rumored to be dining in one of the upstairs private rooms. Philippe has been a celeb haunt for years, and count regulars like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Oprah Winfrey, Rick Ross, Nas and Kobe Bryant. Via its panel discussion this morning at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in California, Fox announced that it has picked up Empire for a third season. Considering it was just nominated for Best Drama at the Golden Globe Awards… …. Considering Taraji P. Henson actually won a Golden Globe for Best Actress… …. And considering it is the highest-rated series on broadcast television among 18-49-year olds, this was not exactly a surprise. But it’s still exciting news! The series, unfortunately, remains on extended hiatus (although you can always watch Empire online via TV Fanatic) until Wednesday, March 30 at 9/8c. View Slideshow: Empire Cast: Did You Know…? Among other significant announcements made by Fox today: Scream Queens has been picked up for a second season. 24: Legacy will likely air some time in 2017, using the same real-time format, yet bringing in an entirely new cast to replace Kiefer Sutherland and company. (Yes, we’re about to have 24 without Jack Bauer.) Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will reprise their roles from Prison Break in a nine-episode revival of Prison Break. Tim Curry will narrate The Rocky Horror Picture Show remake as Criminologist Narrator. Country music singer Trisha Yearwood has landed the role of Mary, the mother of Jesus, in Fox’s The Passion. Back in October, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon severely injured his hand for the second time in six months after he took a tumble while swigging Jagermeister during an event at Harvard. On its own, the accident would’ve hardly been newsworthy, but coming on the heels of rumors about Fallon’s hard partying, as well as a bizarre incident in which he chipped a tooth last August, the fall prompted questions and concerns about Jimmy’s drinking habits. Shortly after news of Fallin’ Fallon went viral, a rumor that NBC execs were planning to ask Jimmy to got to rehab during the show’s next hiatus began to circulate online. That didn’t happen (as far as we know), but the fact that the network never came out and denied the reports led many to believe that some higher-ups were, in fact, worried about Fallon’s drinking . Yesterday, some of Fallon’s bosses finally spoke out on the matter at a press event for members of the Television Critics Association, and their were comments were…confusing, to say the least. “He’s good. He doesn’t have a drinking problem,” said NBC Entertainment chairman Greenblatt. “He goes out and has fun. He’s had some accidents. Aside from that, he’s in better shape than he’s ever been.” Perhaps sensing that the crowd could detect the odor of BS emanating from his comments, Greenblatt added: “Always, we are worried about his safety. There’s been conversations about that. The stories are exaggerated about this.” So there you have it. Jimmy Fallon’s not a drunk! He just has the occasional accident while he’s “having fun,” and his bosses frequently worry about his health and safety! The Duchess of Cambridge’s siblings just returned from their most recent trip in time to join the royals for a January 10th church service at Sandringham. Back in October 2012, Matthews and Pippa were seen out a few times – once at the posh Queen’s Club tennis center, and then at Hakkasan, where an onlooker at the time told the Sun they were ” openly flirting ” in a booth. ‘They were deep in conversation ad only had eyes for each other,” the source told the paper. “Pippa was all smiles and kept giggling. They stayed for nearly three houses and didn’t seem to want the meal to end.” Fast-forward three years, and it may seem that they’re back on. According to The Duchess Diary , Pippa and James have been hanging out way too often to just be friends. Never mind the two tropical vacations. Pippa and James have competed in two races together in 2015, one of which was in support of the Michael Matthews Foundation, named after James’ older brother, Matthew who died in 1999 was descending from Mt. Everest. On December 23rd, 2015, James also met Pippa and her mother, Carole outside the annual Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Foundation Carole Concert, before driving off with both women. In late September 2015, Pippa and James walked his dog before disappearing into a home. Pippa emerged the next morning holding a bouquet of flowers, according to the Daily Mail . James followed her shortly after. Spencer has spoken briefly in the past about his older brother’s low-key romance. “What you read in the Daily Mail isn’t too far from the truth,” he revealed in a 2012 interview about Pippa and James. “I know they’ve always been very close friends – well, they’ve had a close friendship for awhile and it seems that there might be something more there, but I don’t know,” he added.
