Source: Jerritt Clark / Getty So now Khloe Kardashian is telling her truth about how she started dating her daughter’s father Tristan Thompson following reports from his son’s mother, Jordan Craig, that Khloe was the one who wrecked her relationship with Tristan. via TMZ Khloe says she was reluctant to continue seeing Tristan when he confessed to a pregnant ex … but believed him when he and his people told her he and his ex were done. “He pleaded with me that the relationship was over before we met,” Khloe says. She claims he showed her evidence … and had her talking to his lawyer, mother and friends to convince her they were through. “This is MY TRUTH,” Khloe says, insisting she truly believed Tristan was single when they started dating … and if he wasn’t, she is “so completely and utterly sorry,” but pins the blame on those who lied to her. “I pray my truth is in fact that,” she wrote. “Lord knows I pray but now, I really don’t know what to believe.”
Source: Icon Sportswire / Getty N FL fans couldn’t have asked for a more perfect scenario. When HBO’s all-access show Hard Knocks returns, the Oakland Raiders and all of their dysfunction will take center stage this season. The team made it official yesterday in Tweet announcing their participation with the show which is now in its 14th season. So that means all upcoming ridiculous moves made by head coach Jon Gruden and the front office will be on camera. From obvious stars to guys you might not know — yet. Five Raiders poised for breakout roles on @HBO 's Hard Knocks: https://t.co/jld76sn2tH — Oakland Raiders (@Raiders) June 12, 2019 Too bad Marshawn Lynch won’t be around this season, we definitely would have loved to see unfiltered Beast Mode in action. But that’s okay cause former ESPN analyst Jon Gruden and his band of misfits will supply all the entertainment we need in the 5 episode behind the scenes look at the upcoming training camp for the team. Based on his previous ridiculous decisions like trading away Khalil Mack and wide receiver Amari Cooper, we are sure Gruden got some more insane moves up his sleeve. We can’t also forget the Raiders bringing in problematic star wide receiver Antonio Brown who left his former team the Pittsburgh Steelers after calling out his former QB Ben Rothelsberger and JuJu Smith-Schuster. If that is not enough dysfunction for you, the Raiders for some reason picked up habitually suspended linebacker Vontaze Burfict as well as unretired offensive lineman and well-known bully Richie Incognito. HBO couldn’t have asked for a more perfect team honestly. In press release Raiders’ owner Mark Davis added : “Everybody wants to be a Raider. Now they’ll find out what it takes to become one.” We expect the drama to be off the charts when the show premieres this year on HBO. When the movie channel started the show, this is definitely the kinda mess they were hoping to see and show. Will you be tuned in? Let us know in the comment section below. Source: Patrick McMullan / Getty Linda Fairtein Calls Netflix’s ‘When They See Us’ An “Outright Fabrication” The main woman responsible for incarcerating five innocent teens is, of course, still defending her atrocious actions. In an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal , former Manhattan District Attorney’s office prosecutor Linda Fairstein slammed When They See Us , the Netflix mini-series based on the Central Park Five case. Fairstein argues that the four-part series omits crucial details, including a “riot” involving more than 30 people that allegedly went down on April 19, 1989 — the same date of the attack on the Central Park jogger Trisha Meili. Fairstein claims that reporters and Ava DuVernay have only focused on the five accused teens and the one victim in the jogger attack, not the riot. Not sh**. The movie is about the CENTRAL PARK FIVE and the JOGGER CASE. Anywaaays, Fairstein went on to say that the movie missed “the larger picture of that terrible night: a riot in the dark that resulted in the apprehension of more than 15 teenagers who set upon multiple victims.” She continued that on that night “eight others were attacked, including two men who were beaten so savagely that they required hospitalization for head injuries.” She then argues that there’s compelling evidence that the Central Park five were involved in the “riot.” Again, what’s that got to do with the jogger case????????? The one in which Matias Reyes was proven to be Meili’s attacker thanks to a confession and DNA evidence. But Fairstein kept on about the OTHER alleged attacks that happened that night: “The other charges, for crimes against other victims, should not have been vacated. Nothing Mr. Reyes said exonerated these five of those attacks. And there was certainly more than enough evidence to support those convictions of first-degree assault, robbery, riot and other charges,” Fairstein writes. Fairstein also denies the portrayal of the five teens being held without food or deprived of their parents’ company during questioning: “If that had been true, surely they would have brought those issues up and prevailed in pretrial hearings on the voluntariness of their statements, as well as in their lawsuit against the city. They didn’t, because it never happened,” Fairstein writes. Fairstein also says that DuVernay portrays her as an “prosecutor and a bigot, the police as incompetent or worse, and the five suspects as innocent of all charges against them” and claims that “none of this is true.” She finishes by arguing that “it is a wonderful thing that these five men have taken themselves to responsible positions and community respect,” but reiterated that DuVernay “ignored so much of the truth about the gang of 30 and about the suffering of their victims” and described this as an “outrage.” Ava’s response to Linda’s “outrage?” The filmmaker responded to the op-ed on Twitter, calling Fairstein’s words “expected and typical.” Then she simply added, “Onward.” Expected and typical. Onward… https://t.co/phJtFpvH0a — Ava DuVernay (@ava) June 11, 2019 Our thoughts exactly. We’ll leave Fairstein to worry about stepping down from more boards and her book publisher dropping her like a hot ceramic plate.
Source: Splash News / Splash News Wu-Tang Clan Becomes First Rap Act To Headline Ryman Auditorium Wu-Tang Clan is continuing to take over all media sites and venues , with appearances in places you might least expect them. Most recently, they headlined the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, which is usually reserved for more country acts, church revivals and boxing matches, according to NPR . Ever since they opened in 1892, Ryman has hosted everyone from Johnny Cash to Helen Keller to Harry Houdini. But never a hip hop act… Until now. On June 9, Wu-Tang played a sold-out show at the theater nicknamed “The Mother Church of Country Music.” The performance was apart of their international tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their Enter the Wu-Tang album. “This isn’t your grandparents’ Ryman,” says Shannon Sanders , a record producer and Grammy-winning musician. In the 80s, Sanders was apart of one of Nashville’s first hip hop groups, and he says the hip hop scene there has often lived in the shadow of country: “It’s just been hard to be part of the narrative of the city’s musical story.” Now, Sanders says listeners have diversified their tastes, going from country to rock to hip hop. “You know, the Ryman has had to grow up too, and had to grow up into what the city is,” Sanders says. “You know, the Wu-Tang is ready for the Ryman, but also the Ryman is ready for the Wu-Tang.” Based on the crowd, it was definitely a night to remember.
