TTYL: Miley Cyrus Deletes Twitter Account!

THG 1, Miley Cyrus 0! After months of mocking Miley Cyrus for Tweeting every thought that comes into her head, The Hollywood Gossip can claim victory against this self-serving young singer. We never thought we’d see the day, but Cyrus actually deleted her Twitter account last night, sharing one final thought: FYI Liam doesn’t have a twttr & he wants ME 2 delete mine w/ gd reason. Yes, Miley axed her Twitter page because Liam Hemsworth – CLEARLY her boyfriend at this point – asked her to

Michael Jackson Brought Back to Life … on South Park

On the bad taste scale, South Park and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia vie for the top spot. Few other programs see no taboos when it comes to laughs. Case in pint

Six Feet Under 1:8

It’s nice that the show labels the episode numbers itself.  Because I didn’t blog about the last few, I forgot what number I was on! I loved the relationship dynamics David had with everyone in this episode.  It’s great to see him relaxing a little and showing the more human side.  I think this episode did a lot to show the versatility of Michael C. Hall as well…but I am slightly biased due to my adoration of him. Also, they made a reference to BTVS in this episode.  They quickly compared it to Dawson’s Creek , but I will overlook that.  No way will I ever admit that the two shows are anything alike.  Full disclosure: I haven’t ever seen an episode of DC, but I don’t like anyone in it so I don’t think I need to

Merlin 1:8

I have been wondering all along how they would deal with the idea of Mordred, since he is most commonly Arthur’s son yet in this version of the tale, so many things are different.  So here we have it, the young druid boy that Arthur saves will end up being the man who kills him some day. I dislike that they basically take an entire episode of virtually nothing to introduce this one character.  It makes me wonder how far into the Arthurian legend they intend to go with all this, because I’m not sure what the point of Mordred is when this is so early in Arthur’s life.  Do they intend to have him try to kill Arthur a lot earlier than they are supposed to?  Or attack the kingdom?  It’s mildly confusing. It seems like they are doing more to set up Morgana’s future, giving her this link to the boy and him caring so much for her.  I am actually curious as to how her character will continue to develop, she is one that I kind of keep watching for.

Saved by the Bell – 1-900-CRUSHED

I very much prefer the episodes before Jessie and Slater were dating, the tension between them when they don’t make out is more fun than when they make out and fight.

Dollhouse – Epitaph One

I have one question for this episode: Did I fall asleep? I’m glad I saw this, because I know that the next season is going to be tying in a bit to the futuristic parts of this episode.  But I spent the first five or so minutes thinking “did they put the right show on this disc?  do I need to call FOX and complain that they screwed mine up?”  After awhile it became clear that yes, this was indeed Dollhouse, but perhaps some people from the Terminator spilled over

The Vampire Diaries 1:2

Remember how last week I said the show kind of disappointed me?  Well despite that, I found myself really anticipating this weeks episode, to the point where I even asked myself “Is it Thursday yet?” What I should have done, to satiate that anticipation, was go back and read my review of the first episode.  Because while I wouldn’t say this one was any worse, I did not get some fun thrill that made my waiting worthwhile.  It’s kind of like those episodes in the RW/RR Challenge where someone I really like goes home…I waited all week, just to be sad at the end. I also found myself asking “Did I fall asleep?” when this episode ended.  I am going to make a guess that they put fewer commercials in the first episode, therefore making it more action packed or whatever.  But I felt strange enough about how short it seemed that I kept it on the DVR and will hopefully find the time to watch it again.  And if I do that and find I did, in fact, fall asleep, I will write an amended review.  Somehow, though, I don’t think I will find something terribly redeeming in a rewatch

Glee: You Put On Quite a Show

Last night we asked Glee to go steady. It said yes, but told us it’s not putting out. That’s OK because the episode had more great lines than a Fashion Week after party

Project Runway: Smells Like Low Tide

Project Runway is all about vision and delusion. The vision to craft an episode around surf wear, the delusion it won’t be the worst episode ever. The vision of picking a strong teammate , the delusion that it will save you.
