This year has already seen its grand share of celebrity feuds, but could one longtime war between two pop divas actually be ending ? Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have allegedly been at odds for more than a year now, but it sounds as though an olive branch may have been extended… by Katy. According to HollywoodLife , Katy was disgusted when she heard about Kanye West’s misogynistic diss on Taylor in his new song “Famous,” which debuted last night at his Yeezy Season 3 fashion show and album release party. In the track, Kanye raps about how he might still have sex with Taylor, because he “made that bitch famous.” A slew of celebs expressed disdain for Kanye and support for Taylor, including Ruby Rose, Gigi Hadid and Jaime King. And now it seems as though Taylor’s one-time foe is now on her team, too. “Katy feels what Kanye did was really low class,” a source told the site. Katy “feels bad that Taylor has to deal with the nonsense that he brought to things, especially on such an important weekend,” added the source, referring to the Grammy Awards which will take place Monday night. So, there’s that. But there’s also this: According to The New York Times , Katy invited Taylor to a Grammy party she’s hosting this weekend in downtown Los Angeles. Billed as “An Evening to Celebrate the Creators,” the event will be a black-tie dinner for her fellow musicians. Still no word on whether Taylor accepted, but it would certainly be lovely to see these two bury the hatchet. Maybe Taylor will even open up a new position on her illustrious squad. Damon took quite a few hits on The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 12 . We mean this literally. Totally distraught over what he did to Elena last week, Damon set out to punish himself. When we first saw the destroyed hero, he was lying in the middle of the street, just as he was when he met Elena way back in the day. He then killed the poor pedestrian who stopped to see if Damon was okay… before heading to Mystic Grill and slicing off the head of one of Julian’s cronies. Just as Julian was about to drive a stake through Damon’s heart, though, he realized the sort of pain his nemesis was in and decided on a different course of action instead: Apparently Julian has been running some kind of underground fight club and he offered Damon the chance to punish himself mentally by getting punished physically. He disposed of his first couple foes, using a stake illegally tossed into the ring by a random hot waitress the second time, before it was time for him to take on Julian. But just as Julian was about to kill Damon once and for all, Valerie swooped in with a spell that caused Julian a lot of pain and Stefan was able to drag Damon away to safety. Once outside, though, Damon owned up to how he burned Elena alive and Stefan reacted by slugging his troubled brother a few times in the face. OUCH! But this wasn’t it for either brother: Damon went home and was paid a visit by the aforementioned hot waitress. She brought tequila and a willingness to have sex. Stefan, meanwhile, was finally sick and tired of Julian, blaming him for sending Damon into The Phoenix Stone and teaming with Valerie on a cloaking spell. She made him invisible to everyone else and then Stefan yanked out Julian’s heart. Rest in peace, man. NOT! Elsewhere this week: The pretty cop who tossed Matt in jail last week followed him to Mystic Falls and nearly got herself killed in the process. She now knows all about vampires. Caroline learned, the painful way, that her babies are syphoning her vampire power. Bonnie, Mary-Louise and Nora tracked The Huntress to a mental institute in Ohio after receiving postcards with an X on them, the signal that she was coming after all who had been stabbed with her sword. But they just found an old lady there, someone who at first lied about being the Huntress, but then told Bonnie the truth and was about to kill her… … when Enzo randomly showed up. After Bonnie left to find Mary-Louise and Nora, she returned to find that Enzo had stolen the Huntress away. To where?!? To some kind of chamber, where he burned her old body and where a younger version then appeared, still stuck behind glass. But she clearly becomes UNstuck at some point because we ended the episode by flashing three years into the future and getting a look at her at the news station building, holding both Stefan and Damon hostage. Where will this all go on The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 13 ? We can’t wait to find out!
Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner made a big debut in The Big Apple on Monday night. Just a few days prior to the opening of New York Fashion Week, the sisters made an appearance in The City That Never Sleeps to launch their clothing and footwear collection, Kendall + Kylie. They did so with a loft party in TriBeCa loft party. As you can see in the Instagram-shared photo above, the 20-year-old model represented her label by wearing a sleeveless thigh-high slit dress and knee-high heeled sandals. Kylie, meanwhile, opted for a black sleeveless jumpsuit and black pumps. No word on where Kim Kardashian , Kourtney Kardashian or Khloe Kardashian were at the time of the event, but Kylie and Kendall did receive in-person support from Kanye West and Kris Jenner. Here’s another look at attire you can purchase from the Kendall + Kylie line: “We designed it according to what we love, and how our style is,” Kendall told People Magazine of the fashion line. “It’s someone who is really similar to us. A young girl wanting to have fun. That’s mainly what we designed.” Kylie adds that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars had a major say in each piece of clothing, getting their hands dirty along the way: “We absolutely tried on everything, you can’t wait to see how the finished product turns out. On The Bachelor Season 20 Episode 6, Ben Higgins narrowed his field of contenders considerably, sending three ladies packing. Was now-infamous villain Olivia Caridi one of them? Picking up where last week left off, The Bachelor Season 20 Episode 6 saw Ben pull Olivia to the side before the rose ceremony began. Would this be the end for Olivia after the previous week’s cliffhanger? If you thought so, obviously you don’t watch The Bachelor online . The editors are better than the action. Just saying. Jennifer is sent home instead. Then it’s off to the Bahamas, where it’s twin Emily vs. Olivia for all the marbles … kinda. But first: Ben takes Caila on a one on one, which leaves Leah (who is feeling so overlooked that we don’t even know who she is) crushed. Despite considerable nonsense babbling on the part of Caila, she ends up with a rose. Ben says it was an awesome date … somehow. View Slideshow: The Bachelor Season 20: Meet the Ladies! The group date involved a collection of swimming pigs involved, Ben hitting it off with Lauren Bushnell, and Leah losing it once again. Leah tries to sling mud at Lauren in the hopes that something will stick, but it comes off like she’s lying, trying much too hard, or both. Probably both. Ben sends her to pack her bags ASAP. Finally, the two-on-one date between Emily and Olivia begins, and man alive, there is a storm brewing. Of the weather variety. Literally. Oh, the symbolism, Bachelor Nation. The symbolism. You have to give props to nature and the producers for working together to create this kind of atmosphere for the high-stakes showdown. In the end, it’s about the girls, though, and wow. WOW . When Olivia tells Ben that “deep, intellectual things are my jam,” well, she’s reached Peak Olivia. But what can we surmise from that? Ben knows what he has to do. Even though Emily had all but assumed defeat, Higgins took the rose and … sent Olivia home instead! Emily got a rose and another 15 minutes of fame on ABC. Olivia got left behind on the beach, where for all we know she’s still there or getting blown out to sea by a high pressure weather system. Hurricane Olivia returns to her tropical roots, if you will. One of our favorite subtleties is how the show always leaves the impression that the two-on-one date loser is literally left in the dust. Wherever she ends up … she will be in the gallery above! There was no cocktail party after that, and at the rose ceremony, Lauren Himle was sent home to complete Ben’s elimination trifecta.
