Lindsay Lohan Sues Pitbull Over Disparaging Lyrics

Lindsay Lohan is suing rapper Pitbull over disparaging lyrics in one of his songs. He does zing her pretty good, but a lawsuit? Get outta town. The hit song, “Give Me Everything,” contains this line: Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein’, to keep flowin’, I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan . Oooh, that one hurt! Pitbull – Give Me Everything ft. Ne-Yo, Afrojack, Nayer LiLo claims in her lawsuit that “the lyrics, by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants regarding the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff.” Yes, a PITBULL SONG is likely to to her irreparable harm. Lindsay, who LOL-tastically claims she is “a professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild,” is suing under New York civil rights laws safeguarding one’s name from being exploited for commercial purposes. Lindsay Lohan alleges the song causes her “to be associated in connection with defendants” and seeks to halt broadcasting of the song. Good luck.

Dr. Conrad Murray Seeking Jury Sequestration, Protection From "Character Assassination"

Dr. Conrad Murray’s legal team believes sequestering the jury is the only way to ensure his fair trial in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case. Charged with involuntarily causing the King of Pop’s death, Murray wants the court protect him and the system from “character assassinations.” The name Nancy Grace has come up more than once from Murray’s lawyers, citing the case of Casey Anthony , who ended up walking in July. Dr. Conrad Murray ‘s lawyers say the only reason the Anthony jurors were unswayed by the media skewering of Anthony was because they were sequestered. According to documents, Grace and others engaged in “nonstop on-air abuse of not only the defendant, but the jurors and defense attorneys involved.” The legal docs claim , “There is reasonable expectation that Dr. Murray’s trial will be the most publicized in history,” and that of the several hundred jurors polled during jury selection, only one claimed not to have heard of the case. Judge Michael Pastor said last month he would consider sequestering the jury, although he felt it was unnecessary and expensive. Stay tuned … [Photo: WENN.com]

Scott MacIntyre and Christina Teich: Married!

Scott MacIntyre, the first finalist in American Idol history, is now a married man. The artist exchanged vows with Christina Teich yesterday in Scottsdale, Arizona. MacIntyre composed all the music played at the event, including “I Wanna Be,” a single that is now available on iTunes. Up next for the part-time motivational speaker? She captivated millions during her sister Kate’s wedding back in late April, but did Pippa Middleton stop by PAD-dington Station (if you know what we mean!) on the way to the royal nuptials? Did she get a LIFT to the grand affair? We’re asking if her now-famous backside was enhanced in some way. Why bring this up? “Experts” consulted for TLC’s Crazy About Pippa special noted that Pippa Middleton was looking, um, well-rounded on the big day. Pippa Middleton at the wedding, left, and earlier this month . “She had this very pert bum sticking out,” noted one British style commentator on the special. ” I’m not convinced that it’s completely natural.” London spa owner Lesley Reynolds Kahn adds: “I think, if you look at other photos of her and see her in jeans, she’s got quite a flat bottom.” “I think possibly for the day, for that gorgeous dress, she may have had pants that gave her a little bit of a lift, or even a little bit of padding.” Of course, expensive dresses are designed to enhance a woman’s shape. Haute couture will usually give a gal a boost, literally or otherwise. What do you think? Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket to Attend MJ Tribute Concert

Michael Jackson’s kids are planning on attending the upcoming MJ Tribute Concert in person. This in spite of objections from two of their uncles. Prince, Paris and Blanket have all decided that they want to fly to Wales for the event, regardless of what Jermaine and Randy Jackson think. An Jackson family rep tells TMZ: “Paris, Blanket and Prince have been asked to attend the MJ Tribute in Wales and they have decided to go.” The rep adds that the kids are “extremely excited and they’re hoping they will have the opportunity to contribute in some way by making a speech.” “Nothing has been set in stone, but they really hope they can.” Jermaine and Randy are fighting their attendance, as well as the concert itself, which they consider “inappropriate,” given that the event is due to take place in October during the involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray . Jurong Lake Run 2011

The event was organised by the Association and the Taman Jurong Community Sports Club. Runners could choose between a 10-kilometre competitive race or a five-kilometre fun run. Over 5,000 people participated in western Singapore#39;s first major running event, the Jurong Lake Run. Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said the event, aimed at youths, will become a signature event every year. Some Repeat Matrimony-Dom: Mike And Kiki Tyson Renew Their Vows At Surprise Pretent Birthday Party

Who knew Iron Mike Tyson had become so sentimental in his old age?? First, he’s crying in public . Now, TMZ reports Tyson and his wife of two years just went all out to renew their vows in a surprise ceremony. TMZ has learned … Tyson and his wife Lakiha invited hundreds of friends to a joint birthday party they threw for each other at the M Resort … but the b-day party was merely a cover for a secret vow renewal. After the guests arrived to the party, the couple disappeared … only to re-emerge behind a massive curtain … which dropped to reveal both Mike and Lahika dressed in wedding outfits. With the crowd completely surprised, the couple proceeded to renew their vows in a traditional Muslim ceremony. We’re told the two decided to do the big “wedding” party this time around because they skipped out on a celebration when they were secretly married at a small Vegas chapel back in 2009 … two weeks after Mike’s 4-year-old daughter passed away. Sources tell us the party was AWESOME — guests had their choice of a steak or chicken entree … and then they partied it up in the hotel’s ballroom with a live band. Ain’t that precious. Mazel Tov!
