If you’ve seen Unbreakable and Split then you’re more than ready for Glass . The new movie from M Night Shyalaman that hits theaters this Friday, January 18th, 2019 that focuses on Mr. Glass the villain from Unbreakable who believes that superheroes live amongst us. In this world, we start with Unbreakable’s security guard turned real-life superhero “The Overseer” David Dunn on the hunt for The Beast, one of Kevin Wendell Crumb twenty-four personalities. The mentally disturbed man has four women held hostage and the only person strong enough to stop him is The Overseer. Events happen that get the Overseer and The Beast in the same mental facility as Elijah Price the man known as Mr. Glass, who takes credit for turning David Dunn into a superhero by creating numerous tragic accidents to find his guy. I sat down with James McAvoy and Samuel L Jackson to talk about their new film, Glass. During our conversation, we talked about reprising their roles, found out how James goes from character to character, as well as some backstory for Patricia and Dennis. We even had a little bit of fun and talked about the Drake vs Kanye beef. I asked Samuel L Jackson if he saw any of Kanye West multi-day twitter rant about Drake and Sam lit up saying, “I see it, I don’t think about it. It’s not part of my world, I just look at it like these kids are doing what these kids are doing. Hopefully, it’s just a twitter beef. It ain’t going to be anything real. It’s not like the old days when they run into each other in the club somewhere and they gonna throw down. Neither one of them is going to fight.” James McAvoy said he doesn’t really do twitter so he missed Kanye’s rant but he did stay beneath Drake when he was filming “It 2” In Toronto. “There were nights when we were really excited about it and we would listen to see ‘is that him walking around up there? Is he doing his little dance? I was like oh my God. For five months I was in that town, living beneath him and I never saw him once. We shared an elevator dude, and I never met him once.” Fun stuff but you guys really gotta hear him talk about how he pulled off playing twenty characters from the transitions to the body language of it all. Glass is a really good film that builds one of the best universes in cinema. Check it out everything this Friday. Source: WENN.com / WENN Two years after the Ghostbusters franchise got a reboot with the all-female cast starring Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, it looks like Hollywood is once again giving the franchise another sequel set in the same universe as the 80’s original. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Jason Reitman (Juno, Tully) has been tapped to write and direct the untitled Ghostbusters sequel which will follow the events that happened in the OG Ghostbusters film that was directed by his father, Ivan Reitman. “I’ve always thought of myself as the first Ghostbusters fan, when I was a 6-year-old visiting the set. I wanted to make a movie for all the other fans,” Reitman says. “This is the next chapter in the original franchise. It is not a reboot. What happened in the ‘80s happened in the ‘80s, and this is set in the present day.” Sounds good to us. Though the 2016 reboot featured the likes of OG Ghostbusters Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson, they obviously weren’t the same characters they were when they were hunting ghosts with proton packs and inverted traps. Not to mention fans weren’t too happy with the reboot featuring an all-female cast because, well, sexism. And though the 2016 version was actually pretty cool, Reitman doesn’t intend on connecting his project with the Paul Feig directed project. “I have so much respect for what Paul created with those brilliant actresses, and would love to see more stories from them. However, this new movie will follow the trajectory of the original film,” Reitman says. We ain’t mad at that. We just hope Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd and Ernie Hudson suit up one last time in the film. We have an update on Rob Kardashian’s love life. Which is to say the following: Rob Kardashian apparently has a love life once again! For reasons that are yet to be fully explained, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Alexis Skyy definitely appears to be getting frisky with the occasional sock designer, as both she and Rob have shared intimate videos of the other one on Instagram over the last week or so. (No, not the sort of intimate video Skyy allegedly made with Fetty Wap .) These videos and this report come amidst strong rumors that Skyy got into a fight with Blac Chyna. Coincidence? Considering Chyna is Rob’s ex-fiancee and perpetual baby mama? We think so. According to TMZ, Skyy (pictured below) and Chyna went at it during a private party in Los Angeles on Saturday night — and Skyy says Chyna was totally to blame. As Alexis tells it, Chyna invited her over to her table… .. only to then hurl a drink at her out of nowhere. Skyy told TMZ over the weekend that she responded by throwing punches at Chyna, which prompted her to be tossed from the event. However, based on her Instagram account at least, Skyy then waited for Chyna outside of the club in order to finish their fight: From there, Skyy accused Chyna of using cocaine. See for yourself: Fast forward to Monday night and Kardashian shared a series of videos and photos of Skyy making him dinner at what appears to be Kris Jenner‘s Calabasas mansion. This romance setting and date night took place after Rob referrde to Skky as his Women Crush Wednesday. “My WCW… I’ve been wanting you for so long,” Kardashian wrote over a photo of Skyy hours prior to going public with their rendezvous. Chyna, who shares a two-year old girl named Dream with Kardashian, has yet to address the fight or Skyy and Kardashian’s potential romance. But Rob did reply to a Twitter user who asked about Skyy by saying he’s known her for five years. We’re sure they’ve traveled in the same reality show circles (random parties and red carpet events) during this time. Skyy, meanwhile, is 24 years old, and of Jamaican and Dominican descent; she grew up on Long Island, New York. Just like Chyna, she started out as a stripper before moving on the world of reality television, having given birth to a daughter named Alaiya in Januart of last year. Fetty Wap is the little girl’s father. Based on the photos above, it’s not hard to see what Kardashian sees in Alexis Skyy. But what does Alexis Skyy see in Kardashian? Cold, hard cash. Larissa Dos Santos could really use your help right about now. Your financial help, just to be clear. On Thursday night, Larissa and the husband with whom she very often argues got into what appears to be an actual fight. By which we mean… a physical altercation. The ugly details were shared by both halves of this 90 Day Fiance couple, as Larissa, for example, posted photos and videos overnight of her lacerated face. “Unfortunately, Colt called the cops,” wrote Larissa along with one of the more troubling images, as you can see here: Larissa later alleged that the back-and-forth started because she caught Colt with a subscription to an adult entertainment account, and she told Instagram followers to “help” her and that Colt will “lie” about what transpired.’ Dos Santos Lima went on to share a video, repeating that Colt had called the police on her. “I’ll be deported,” she says in the video, which has since been deleted. “I just scratch him because he was hurt me…I’m really hurt, but he called the police first.” To add to the ugliness and mystery of what actually happened, an Instagram user shared the following image and message:’ This was sent to me by a close friend of Colt’s and in the spirit of fairness I’m posting it. Colt was obviously trying to tell folks via this image that he was actually the victim of the assault. And the authorities agreed. According to TMZ, police only noticed one cut on Larissa’s face, but a lot of blood spatter and what they determined to be self-inflicted scratches on her stomach. They even checked Colt’s fingernails and ruled at the scene that he was not responsible for her facial wound. Based on her history and on this evidence, Las Vegas police arrested Larissa around 5 a.m. and charged her with battery, domestic violence, which is a misdemeanor. There is a mandatory 12-hour hold and she is now in custody at the Clark County Detention Center. Bail has been set for Larissa at $3,000… and it doesn’t sound like she can afford it. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist the reality star with her legal fees; she did not start it, but Larsissa did share it on Instagram. Reads the plea/message on the account: LARISSA – 90 day fiance star – WAS ARRESTED After Bloody Fight with Colt, her husband. Larissa stated that Colt scratched her face, and she scratched him back when she was trying to get away. She says that he also hidden her phone , so she could not call the cops and he called first. She denies the allegations of self harm, she says Colt ate his own nails after the episode to avoid jail time. Cops checked Larissa’s criminal history and saw she had two previous arrests for domestic battery ( both cases dismissed) however they arrested her again. She’s being held on $3,000 bond. ( We found out we can pay only $800 today ) She will need an attorney. Larissa was previously arrested for domestic battery in November. Based on court records, this was her second arrest for domestic violence. She had been arrested earlier in 2018 but the charges have since been dismissed. As of this writing, $1,807 of the GoFundMe’s $3,000 goal had been donated. And some fans out there had shared their stories in support of Larissa. To wit: “I am a victim of domestic violence and my ex always tried to make me the abuser until he too it too far and almost killed me,” remarked one user. “I hope she doesn’t run back to him. I will never help again if she does! No one deserves to be treated like Colt treats her!” Colt has not spoken publicly about the events from Thursday night/Friday morning. Kelly and he never has. The Roots member is facing some mild backlash this week for declining to appear in Surviving R. Kelly —the Lifetime docuseries centered on Kelly’s sexual abuse allegations. Executive producer and showrunner, Dream Hampton, recently told Shadow and Act that a number of prominent artists had turned down interviews for six-part series–which is why so many people praised John Legend for his participation. Hampton previously elaborated saying her team reached out to celebrities who had either collaborated with the disgraced R&B star or who were critical of him. “John Legend was the only one [who participated],” she told Shadow and Act . “I asked Jay-Z, I asked Mary J. Blige, I asked Lil Kim, Erykah Badu, Dave Chappelle […] I mean, most people just don’t want to touch it. I remember Ahmir [“Questlove” Thompson] was like, ‘I would do anything for you but I can’t do this.’ It’s not because they support him, it’s because it’s so messy and muddy. It’s that turning away that has allowed this to go on.” Fans were quick to jump on social media, immediately expressing their disappointment in celebrities and their noncooperation–of course including Questlove. While it’s safe to assume that some of these musicians or former collaborators declined to be in the doc because they support Kelly, Quest insists that is not the case. “I always thought Kels was trash. My reason for declining the RKelly docu that I support 10000000 percent is I didn’t wanna be in the ‘good times’ portion of the doc, like stanning for his ‘genius,’” Questlove wrote in a now-deleted Twitter. “I was asked to talk about his genius. I do not nor have I EVER stanned for him” He continued on to say, “Just wanna make that abundantly clear in a non ‘he doth protest too much’ way. That quote makes it look like I’m protecting him. I’m thinking ‘damn I don’t wanna be the one guy I always am in documentaries fawning over someone I detest.’ So make ZERO mistake on my positioning.” Questlove deleted his tweets shortly after Hampton responded, where she insists she didn’t ask the Roots percussionist to talk about R. Kelly’s musical prowess. She quoted Quest’s tweet responding, “I didn’t ask you about his “Genius.” I’ve never thought he was a genius. I asked you to come on camera and say the same thing you said on Twitter. I told you I need Blake male allies.” Though the stories here don’t seem to add up completely, it seems like Questlove was taking his precautions since he usually takes the role of “talking about (insert name here’s) musical genius” and didn’t want to come off the same way in this instance.

Fox 5 Atlanta is reporting that there are a group of scammers on the loose in the metro Atlanta area who are looking to separate you from your coins. Your bitcoins. Gwinnett County Police department received a phone call from a concerned citizen saying she got a call from a man identifying himself as Sgt. Jake Smith “She just got a phone call from a Sgt. Jake Smith, saying that she has two warrants for her arrest,” she said on the call. The caller demanded payment in Bitcoin in order to make the warrants go away. Sgt. Smith is a fairly public figure in ATL as he is the public information officer and appears on the local news regularly to explain criminal events to the public. “Elements of it remain the same in that bitcoin and the old green dot cards, the wire transfer. None of it can be traced and that’s what they’re looking for in these extortion schemes,” said Smith. Another Gwinnett County resident who was targeted questioned how well this scam is working: “Who can pay in a bitcoin, I don’t know how to do that. I’m sure most people don’t how to do it. I hear it’s getting easier but I don’t know,” said Hughes. Good point, but naive people who don’t want to go to jail will figure it out if they are scared enough. Moral of the story is, if a “cop” CALLS you to tell you that you have a warrant, then that’s not a cop calling you. Stay woke, ATL.
One cast member on Little People. Big World just dropped some huge news. Earlier this week, Tori Roloff was asked by fans when her family’s beloved reality show was going to return with new episodes and she provided followers with the most extensive update yet. No, unfortunately Tori did not have an exact premiere date to announce. But she at least gave us a pretty strong idea of when she and her siblings and parents would return to the air. “This Spring! Stay tuned! We are almost wrapped,” she wrote in response. Yes! We’re so very glad to hear this! There had been chatter awhile back that Little People, Big World was on the verge of being canceled, seeing as the network had not confirmed a renewal — and also that two key stars have said their goodbyes. Shortly after the previous season concluded, Audrey and Jeremy Roloff stunned viewers by saying they were done with the series that made them famous. For what reason? On a reason podcast episode, Audrey admitted that the “dynamic of the show” changed over the past few years and that the couple nearly walked away before they got married. “We almost didn’t film our wedding,” she revealed on air. “We almost made the decision to stop then, five years ago.” For his part, Jeremy wasn’t looking for sympathy. He’s well aware that he and his wife have it pretty great and always have. But still. Being in front of a camera does take its toll after all these episodes. “There’s a lot of mental energy that people underestimate when it comes to filming and being on TV,” he said on this same podcast. Elsewhere, Matt Roloff now lives part-time in Arizona. He may soon get engaged to girlfriend Caryn Chandler and Amy Roloff may soon get engaged to boyfriend Chris Marek. These relationships could provide the program with lots of storyline fodder — or they could mean that it’s time for the plug to be pulled because the Roloffs are becoming a far more splintered unit. Thankfully, for now at least, it appears as if TLC is choosing the former as a direction to go in. Tori, meanwhile, has made it clear for months that she and Zach are down for many more seasons. In honor of Christmas last month, she shared the above photo of herself and her son and got all gushy and sentimenal for the holidays. This is what she wrote: Today is always such a bittersweet day. Bitter because it’s the end of another beautiful holiday season and year. Sweet because I have the opportunity to reflect on my life and all that I have to be grateful for.
